Really good pigments that last a long time. Weirdly the NARS bronzer breaks me out terribly but this doesnt.

NARS makes my fave blushes! I own O, Super O, Goulue, & althou more like a highlight: Albatross. I’d like to get some more but these basically cover most of the blush occasions I have! I have a mini O, O in the O/Laguna duo, & a mini Goulue. The mini O was a delux sample & mini Goulue was the VIB-R gift. I got O/Laguna coz it was only $24 rather than getting a solo Laguna based on price point. I love NARS!! Winning!!!

Not sure what the rave is about.
The one thing that NARS as a cosmetic line is variety of different colours – you will always find a colour for your skin tone, to your liking, or a the colour trend of the season.
I have the blush in DESIRE, a bring pink colour. As bright as it might look in it’s packaging, it surprisingly is very natural on my light skin tone. That goes for lip glosses, so if you’re deterred, give it a try, you will be surprised.
OK, besides the variety of colour, and I do like the packaging, the product itself is not impressive to me at all. I did want a dry power, and that’s what I got. Dry powder. No staying power. Buildable. But I think I would be just as satisfied having spend $7 at the drug store. Not impressed by the quality at all.

This review is for the new Christopher Kane blush in Silent Nude, in the pan it looks like med-light beige pink, BUT once it is on my cheeks glowed and there is no frost whatsoever, just a lovely soft bloom of color, it reminds of the now discontinued but beloved Tempting Beige by Chanel. I am blush girl and this fills the gap, pale colors are deceiving inasmuch as they look like nothing in the compact, but with a tan this really gives that soft beach pink look and on my light ivory skin…well as I said previously just yummy. I also picked up the Dual Intensity Blush in Jubilation, wow and double wow. Oh and the Dual Intensity can be used wet for a water cooler effect or dry. So much for not buying make up for two months, I am hopeless but in love with Nars.

I am so late on the nars blush wagon but I am aboard all the way now. This is the best blush in the world, nothing I have used compared to the quality of this blush. One thing I have noticed is you have to be very careful and not apply too much because you can blend it but you can not just rub some off. You know what I mean, this stuff just does not go anywhere after it’s applied. I love it , I went from none to 15 in a very short amount of time. I have a bunch of nars blush now and I will not go back to anything else ever again.

Breakout, breakout, breakout.
Enough said?
I do understand however that this is NOT for my acne prone skin.
So if you are lucky enough not to suffer from that, go ahead i guess.
Oh i forgot, way to much shimmer for daytime. In my opinion.
No more NARS for me 🙂

I find that these nyx powder blushes are not very easy to blend. They tend to go a bit pachy and streaky even if you have spent hours trying to blend it. However these are so cheap and pigmented and longlasting and come in many different shades that we can overlook any minor issues they have. One of my most used blushes was from nyx. So yea even tho these are not the best blushes out there they are still good. I already repurchased.

i got this blusher in the shade “terra cotta”. my HG blush atm, nothing has topped this blush so far!
i am an NC35 in MAC pro longwear foundation, so this colour gave me a very bronzey, summer glow. this colour fits the bill for me.
pros:
+ pigmented
+ easy to apply and blend
+ great for summer glow look
+ looks acceptable for everyday wear / glow as well
+ longevity is good as well
+ buildable coverage
+ great colour for bronzey eyeshadow looks as well
cons:
– maybe the price (i live outside of US and paid $15 for the blush)
– i wish it came with a mirror (this is my preference though)
this blush lasted on me about 10-12 hours IF you choose to set it with your own setting spray, and it won’t budge. the colour still can be seen after a long day before removing my makeup. i’m quite impressed overall. i have been using it for everyday looks as well as the colour fits perfectly on my skin tone. you can even use it as an eyeshadow, this is a great staple for people who love wearing neutrals.
my only complaint probably is that i wish it came with a mirror? not that i don’t have one, but i wish it came with it so that i don’t have to do that extra job of reaching for my vanity mirror when i apply blush. even though coverage is buildable, i think if you apply more than 2 layers it’d look shimmery and doesn’t look “natural”.
overall rating i’d give it an 8.5/10, am quite pleased with the results. i have not tried other shades from this range so i can’t compare, but i would definitely repurchase this exact shade once i run out.
hope this helps! 🙂

These blushes are very pigmented! However these blushes can be very hard to blend. Some colors can appear chalky but I love how pigmented these are and the color selection is amazing. And for just 4.99 you have nothing to lose 🙂 my favorite color would be Rose Garden!

Not pleased with any of the textures of this blush. Some are just too chalky, powdery, or shimmer is borderline frost. Lasting power is poor and wear on the skin is not the most flattering. Not only on myself but others I know who like this blush, I have to say it does not look nice on the skin.
To me these are just cheap and gross.

I love most of NYX products and this is one that is an absolute favorite. As of the end of 2015, they have 24 colors to choose from. I have been using this powder for years and love the texture, ease of applying and blending, and the staying power it has. While I wish all of them were matte, some do have a sparkle to them. But it is subtle and not enough to deter me from using them.
My one complaint about buying NYX is you can only see all of their products online. Some of the colors on the website are way off. I would check swatches online and see how the colors look before purchasing them online. Ulta carries a few of their products but none has the full sets of all their shades.

I don’t get the hype of this product. I have one in dusty rose
PROS:
Highly pigmented
Affordable
CONS:
Hard to blend
Emphasizes facial hair, even if you don’t have much
Makes your skin look DRY

I am a self professed makeup hoarder! I bought one of these blushes as a hope it would be a Nars orgasm dupe, I was wrong. Then, I bought another one hoping it would be a dupe for TheBalm hot mama. Wrong again.. In spite of how much I dislike these blushes, I can’t get rid of them. I love the tiny little compact these come in, and love the color variety. I really wish these blended out easier, and stayed all day. My Wet N’ Wild blush in pearlescent pink is better than these! Nyx has enough sponsored reviews, you know they are making money; In my opinion, these could be so much better! Highly disappointed, because I love Nyx makeup.

I own two NARS powder blushes – Sex Appeal and Deep Throat. Sex Appeal is a natural matte pink/peach and Deep Throat is a slightly shimmery deeper pink with a bit of peach.
Both go on lightly and blend beautifully into the skin, but are definitely build-able in colour. I am fair skinned, and to be honest I’m not sure how Sex Appeal would look on deeper skin colours because it is itself a light colour – I’m pretty sure it was designed with lighter people in mind, so it may not show up if you are deeply tanned or darker in complexion. I’m sure this is because of the colour itself and not a pigmentation issue which I’ve heard a few people say.
Deep throat is deeper in colour and I doubt many would have the same problem in colour as with Sex Appeal. The shimmer in it looks a bit like very fine glitter, however it doesn’t really appear as such on the skin like I’ve heard people talk about other NARS blushes – although I wouldn’t wear it to work in a corporate environment.
All in all, these are very good blushes, from the colours I have, I’d say these look very natural and make you look very lively. Pigmentation is good, very bendable, build-able, and a great colour range with many hard to find shades.

NC25 Chinese, oily skin and acne prone.
I had several NARS blushed at some point but they were creating blackheads and clogged pores, so I swapped them all away.. and then revisited when an LE palette came out in Nordstroms, and the blackheards came right back. I never noticed this reaction before, being an avid MAC matte blush user prior.
Finally made a point to review the ingredients, dimethicone is on the list… which I avoid when it’s high on the list of foundations.. I had no idea it’s in powder products too… Normally I’m ok w/ ‘cone if it’s far down the list, so who knows if it’s the lanolin or what.. but NARS blushes no bueno for me. 🙁

6/18/15 – Update…they reformulated these & they no longer irritate my skin. I love Sin & Sex Appeal

I have two different colours: Apricot (a light pink with specks of glitter) and Cinnamon (a dark orangey red). I love using Apricot but the colour payoff isn’t high (even though I have very fair skin), Cinnamon on the other hand has high colour payoff. I have to be very lighthanded with Cinnamon and think it is better suited for darker skin tones.
The price isn’t high for these but they seem to be very hit and miss. Worth trying some in your favourite colours but not depending on these for your entire collection.

Not very pigmented, but the payoff is good after a little build up. Long lasting and a wide variety of colours.

of the powder blushes i’ve tried, all of them have great pigmentation and blend easily. not much else to say about blush… there a number of color choices to accommodate many different skin tones. i LOVE the color cinnamon for women of color(including myself). looks fantastic on any shade of brown skin, especially for the summer
