My perfect Everyday blush I can wear with any make up look. Very easy to apply as it’s not too dry or dusty. Perfectly pigmented and easy to blend. Love wearing this neutral blush as it’s so versatile and I can wear this colour when I am going for a natural makeup look or with heavier eye look or a bolder lips.

I had this in my “to give away” stash as it looked awful on me. Recently I was reading a blog post and this got raves and then online I saw how popular it was. Off I went to fish this out. True, it has a lovely finish and great pigmentation. The packaging is horrible (goes sticky like NARS does ew) but it’s the colour: perhaps because I have cool toned pink skin, this just makes me look hideous. It’s like it brings out some seriously ugly undertones and makes me look sallow and old. I can’t wear this shade and it doesn’t have any pink in it to make it vibrant on my skin tone so it’s a terrible choice for me and back in the box it goes.

PERFECT neutral everyday blush. The powder is packed really softly, so I wouldn’t recommend traveling with this blush, but it’s a wonderful one. It’s quite warm, so I tend to stick to warmer tones for the rest of the face (i.e. my lipstick) whenever I wear this out.

I am a big fan of NARS and Illamasqua blush – I don’t use anything else besides an occasional detour into Stila convertible color – but for some reason I was drawn to this Becca product. And I’m glad that I tried it, because it’s every bit as excellent as the other brands. Becca’s mineral blush is very, very finely milled, leaving it incredibly blendable and buildable. It also has a lot of staying power, even on my slightly oily skin. Wild Honey is a warm, brown shade that works as a lovely wash of color on my medium olive/tan skin but that would also work as a fabulous bronzer on someone more fair. Unlike many of Becca’s products, it has little to no detectable shimmer. The packaging is pretty and on the hefty side, but small. (The good part is that you only need a bit of this blush – it’s very pigmented). I am applying this with an EcoTools fan brush and loving it. Highly recommended.
