Love! I have the shade “Nightingale” and a few others Becca included in their palettes.
Nightingale is my absolute favorite! I adore this shade so much. It may look scary since it’s described as a “deep mulberry” and is very pigmented (like most Becca cheek products), but once you use light hand and a fluffy not too dense brush you can make it work even on a very fair skin.
The reward: lovely, “just came back from cold”, natural flush that is both long lasting and healthy. Pair it with a sheer red lip tint and you’ll achieve a stunning, youthful look.
The packaging is ugly, typical for Becca, and I never know which side I should open (dumb, I know). But the shade and the fact that it’s long lasting makes it up.

I’m happy to have paid half the price for this blush as the last, fancy one I had. And I like this one better. It goes on and blends easily (and I’m not so good at blending), and it lasts all day. Unsurprisingly, it will fade a bit after several hours if I forget to apply setting spray or if my face gets oily/sweaty. I bought the color Flowerchild after reading the many previous reviews. It pretty much matches the color my face turns after working out or being outside in the cold, so quite natural. I noticed some people complained about this color having a lot of gold glitter. I didn’t notice any glitter and just some shimmer, which is good as I’m pushing 50 and don’t need to highlight my pores! I have to mention the packaging as well – it feels heavy and like it won’t ever break. $32 USD is still a lot of money for me to spend on blush so it’s hard to elevate this one to HG status. But it’s a lot better than my old blush that cost twice as much.

Flowerchild is my HG blush. It’s the perfect peachy pink color with a very subtle shimmery glow. I have large pores and this blush did not emphasize them or break me out. It’s what I wanted nars orgasm to be but with better color payoff and less glittery bits. Its great for day and night. It’s pigmented so I don’t need much. It lasts about 5-6 hours on my face before the need for Re-application/touchup. Love the packaging too Great for travelling.

I am a blush girl, I tried alot of blushes and honestly, not impressed. Well..I don’t like it but I don’t hate it.
First let’s talk about the formula. Considering that it’s a high-end blush, people say it’s buttery but I find it quite chalky and dusty compared to other blushes that I own. I personally prefer Nars blushes over this. It somehow looks really flat on my skin and it’s full of shimmers. Don’t get me wrong, I love shimmers but not in a way like this. The whole blush is made of shimmers..and they don’t hold on together very well, so technique is needed for better application..but who has time for that? Also, it’s soooo vulnerable to shatter because the blush gets disintergrated easily! I like to swirl the blush with my finger sometimes, and I can already see some cracks on the edges. And I wasn’t even using much energy at all. I am pretty sure mine would shatter if I drop it one day. I have the shade in Flowerchild..a peachy pink. I think I have plenty of other peachy pink blushes that look more flattering than this, more creamy, not flat on skin and way cheaper (Essence Satin blush in Coral or Benefit’s Galifornia anyone?). The only thing that I really like about this is the sturdy and elegant packaging. I think I just had too much of a high expectation from this product because of all the raves. Now I’m just disappointed. Maybe it would work differently on other skin?

I have this blush in Flowerchild, which I bought to be a replacement for NARS Deep Throat. My DT was many, many years old and was no longer good, so I tossed it and began looking for a cruelty free alternative. Using Temptalia’s dupe database and online swatches I figured that Flowerchild would work well for me. It isn’t an exact dupe for DT, but it is very close; it might be a tiny bit pinker, but it looks pretty much the exact same on my skin. The blush from Becca actually wears a lot better for me, though, and I find it to be a little more pigmented than NARS. Becca’s formula is smooth and buttery, the packaging is very nice, and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I think this will be my go-to blush in the spring and summer months especially.

Great blush! Excellent staying power, even after long hours out and about in the summer – although I do at times use a setting spray, so that probably boosts its longevity. I bought the shade ‘Flowerchild’, which suits my skin tone well. It is quite pigmented though, so it is easy to get heavy-handed and end up looking like some bourgie from 18th century France. A light application does it, and the blush goes on smoothly and evenly.
The ingredients list doesn’t raise any major red flags, and Becca is a cruelty free company, which are both big pluses. The price is a bit steep, which is the only reason I may reconsider repurchasing.

Purchased this blush in the shade, Flowerchild, about a month ago and this is now a daily FAV. Looks SO pretty on fair skin, but now that I’m starting to tan I still love it just as much. It’s just gorgeous and blends beautifully. Well worth the money if you are a blush girl! =)

I received this in gift box in trial size. Don’t last all day and makes my cheeks shiny in pictures. I used it since dec 25th and tried to like it but don’t no matter what or how use it. I just finished my Love Radiance Bare Minerals blush. I love the way it looks on my cheeks. It lasts all day and feels good against my skin. It’s not cakey at all. The product itself lasts a long time as well!

– Not shimmery/sparkly. Will leave a very natural finish – especially the “Hint” blush. “Hint” will give fair skin a natural, flushed look.
– For my fair skin, I like “Hint” and “Golden Gate”, the latter being more peachy/orange (in a natural way if that makes sense) and standing out more.
– I have a feeling this one blush will last me a very long time. Lots of product for a decent price.

– Staying power is average.
Overall – I am torn if I would re-purchase this, even though it is ok I am not in love with it. I am very into cream blushes at the moment but decided to buy this one nevertheless. It is a decent blush. If you’re shopping for blushes, I would also recommend getting a blush set (not this brand necessarily – try Nars or Tarte or another brand) – it’s more bang for your buck. For the price of 2 separate blushes you can get a blush set with ~5 blushes.

These loose-powder blushes contain ‘BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE’. It is refined grinded metal which is not commonly found find in other cosmetics (at least not in these quantities).
As you apply this loose powder, the crystal shaped metal particles enter the pores. If you happen to be allergic, the reaction may not be immediate. In fact it may take months before you see the impact. It took me 3 months to react. The skin may blister, breakout in itchy pimples or swell. The sensation is similar to having a tiny shards of metal in your skin or burn as if it was sand-papered. You can also suffer from irritated and swollen eyelids. I had blisters inside my eyelid and lost a lot of my lashes due to it. Very unpleasant.
The main warning I want to give, is regarding the recovery time. If you happen to be allergic, the skin irritation and scars may continue until skin expels the heavy metal that is sitting inside the pores. This needs to occur naturally, which means months of waiting during which you have to deal with severe skin issues and extreme skin dryness. It has been 8 months since I used the blush and I am STILL recovering.
It is worth noting that due to the loose nature of this blush, the particles travel everywhere, including lungs and eyes.
Given my experience, I cannot recommend this blush, nor the use of any loose-powder product that contains this ingredient. I cannot word this any stronger.

I like all the blushes under Bare. However, it does contain a lot of minerals that make your face look shiny in pictures. Don’t use them if you plan to take pictures with flashes.

Love this blush! They discontinued my favorite color, Miracle, so I stock up from eBay or Amazon. I use with a bare minerals foundation blush to apply to the apples of my cheeks, and haven’t found a blush that gives a more brightening, natural, lively glow. Hate Bare Minerals packaging though. I get tired of the unscrewing, tapping into lid, etc. DUPE: E.L.F. Studio Blush in Passionate Pink.

I love these blushes! They are pigmented, don’t irritate my skin, and last for at least 6-8 on my normal to dry skin. There are not powdery so hardly any fall out. I have tenderling (peach brown shade) and tickled pink (light pink shade). I want more! They are only 2.99 at my local beauty supply store and are some of the best blushes I own!

Amazing for the price. I am approx NC45/50 in MAC and I purchased the shades Autumn and Spiced Rum…both are gorgeous on deeper complexions. The color pay off is great…and the wear-ability is fairly long. I like to wear my make ALL day with zero touchups (keep in mind I do not wear a primer)…if I wore this to work, I may need to add a little more after 8 hours if I plan to do something later in the evening…but for $2.99 from ikatehouse.com…still worth it. I plan to buy many more of the other shades. Amazing find, I love blush and change the colors I use daily. I also only spend money on MAC blushes, they are the best quality with a very reasonable price point…so finding lower priced brands that i really enjoy that come in a variety of shades is always a plus.

Look, there’s just two types of people out there – people who can justify paying more than $3.50 for what essentially is a box of colored powder, and those who don’t. You can guess what camp I’m in. I’ve never been tempted by NARS (glitter ahoy) or even drug-store equivalents save for Wet n’ Wild. These are perfect for people who want to try a radically different color and see if it suits them, and if it doesn’t, you’ve only lost chump change.
Personally, I find these blushes to be pigmented and does the job. They last all day on my super mega oily skin and at the end of the day that’s what counts. The packaging is extremely handy – there’s a cute mirror at the bottom and a nice portable brush if you can’t be bothered packing your own. Don’t drop it though – powder can be rather soft and prone to crumbling. I did travel with it though and it was scarily convenient with a compact mirror.
Would I buy this again? Hell yeah. That is, if I’m not seduced by La Femme blushes.

I recently found some great swatches online for several of the LA Colors mineral blushes and I was intrigued. I was placing an order online for other products and decided to check one of these out. I got the shade Tenderling, which could be described as a NARS Orgasm ‘dupe’. It’s a pinky-peach shade with gold shimmer. The formulation is actually very good for such an inexpensive product. There is virtually no fall-out and it blends very nicely onto the skin. The pigmentation is not too much, not too little; just right. Sometimes I don’t like it when blushes are too pigmented anyway.
Staying power is average, especially for me with combo/oily skin. I like this product enough to check out more shades.
Packaging is a bit bulky but petite enough to not take up too much in my collection. Overall, I’m impressed!

If I could give this a 3.5, I would. I have this blush in the color Chai, which is an orange-y muted brown. It’s a lovely color, especially in the summer. The blush is really blendable, so blendable in fact that sometimes I blend the majority of the color away. At least it doesn’t give me those hard edges and it’s great for days when I want a softer cheek. When I’m a bit tanner it takes more product for it to show up as much as I want it too, so I wouldn’t recommend this for darker skin tones. The formula isn’t powdery at all, which is nice, and it doesn’t look chalky on the skin either. On me, it doesn’t hold up. By the end of the day, the color has faded (after taking forever to build it up in the morning, too). The packaging is clunky and takes up space in my blush drawer, although it comes with a pretty good mirror (underneath the blush pan) and a cheap brush (which I have since thrown away). I wouldn’t repurchase, and although some of the other shades look interesting, it’s just too much hassle (I had to buy it online) considering the cons of this blush. However, the pros are enough to have me keep using it until it’s done.

High quality for an inexpensive blush. I collect blushes from highend to ds and I’m very impressed w/ L.A. Colors Mineral Blushes. I ordered a few online and they are all pigmented, soft and blendable. I’m wearing a color called Blushing today. Oh my, it’s so pretty! Blushing is a warm pink with a hint of peach and gives off such a flattering shimmery glow (not too shimmery like the HC blushes). I got these mineral blushes @ Cherry Culture for $4.80 each.

I own Flowerchild, Songbird, and Wisteria and I love the formula so much. My favorites are Flowerchild and Wisteria which came in a blush trio. About me NW20 or below, blonde hair, green eyes, and very cool undertones for reference. These shades work so well on my skintone. Plus the formula is fantastic in my opinion. It’s easy to blend and the blush lasts on me till I wash my makeup off. I recently bought the full size flowerchild as I’ve been using this shade all the time. It’s super pigmented and I adore the peachy, pink,, gold shade I think it is so pretty! I would not hesitate to buy more blushes from the mineral line. I love it! I also own a few of the luminous blushes but prefer the mineral line. Recommended.

Becca blushes are not particularly long lasting in me, probably because they are so creamy in terms of texture compared to other powder blushes. They are easy to blend and have amazing color payoff. What you see is what you get

It can be difficult for someone like me, a gal who suffers from dry skin and texture issues, to find blushes that work and apply well without emphasizing flaws. Although I love my Nars blushes bc of the unique and beautiful color range, I rarely reach for them for this reason. Since making blush purchases is a risk for me (not to mention good blush ain’t cheap) I decided to throw some caution to the wind during Ulta’s 21 day sale and I grabbed a bunch of these for half price (along with the UD blushes).
These blushes are nice terms of formulation and blendability. They are ultra smooth and finely milled. Out of the 6 shades in this line, I purchased 3: Wild Honey (peachy nude), Flowerchild (peachy pink w/ golden highlights), and Hyacinth (vibrant poppy pink), 2 of which I believe are exclusives to Ulta or online only releases. I do think the these colors are pretty but I wouldn’t say they are unique shades in any way. The best aspect of these blushes is that they do not emphasize any texture issues, dry patches, etc.
As for cons, there are enough of them that I can’t justify a higher star rating. Wear time sux for me – these fade out and away in less than 4 hours on me, which is odd because I have dry skin. Another issue (which I touched on above) is that the color range to me is lacking – kinda boring to be honest. If someone wanted to dupe these shades at a much lower price point I am betting this would be easy to do. I am also betting the formula is not quite as unique in terms of smoothness as its been hyped up to be, considering that its far from the only mineral formulation in existence. Ultimately though – and given the issues I do have with these – the price point is outrageous IMO. $32.00 for 0.2 oz?!? No thanks, I’m just not impressed enough with these to justify paying that much.
Seems I am in the minority here in that I appear to be the only reviewer on MA who isn’t feeling these deserve a 5 star rating. Don’t get me wrong – these are nice blushes if you can get them to work for you (i.e., lasting time), better than many others. I just think they are really overhyped for what you get and what you pay. I would have been HEATED had I paid full price for the 3 I bought and had I paid that much, these would get a much lower review. At half price sale/$16.00 each, I still find that a bit high in comparison to how I was left a bit unimpressed with performance. Had these not faded so quick on me I would have rated them higher.

Really great blushes! I have a couple of these loose powder blushes, and they’ve really worked!
Each of these that I’ve tried has not failed me. They’re extremely pigmented, and stay true to their color throughout the entire day. There is also a ton of selection in terms of colors and shades- even sizes! Like, you can get a small sized blush (same size as a bM loose powder shadow) or a larger sized blush (same size as bM loose powder foundation).
Applying these is probably the most difficult part; since they’re loose powder, they tend to just get everywhere and it’s easy to underestimate how much you’ve picked up on your brush. It’s not hard to accidentally use too much; that’s the reason why I gave it 4 lipsticks. A little goes a long way– I still have a hard time with that, haha! Since they are extremely pigmented, you really do need to be sure that you have not picked up too much product. What I like to do, personally, is, before I apply the blush, shake the container (while it’s closed!), and then open it up. Then, look on the inside of the little lid/cap thing; whatever product coats the cap is usually the perfect amount of blush to use for one side. So, swirl your brush in the cap and apply like normal! Once you get used to applying these blushes, everything will fall into place.
Longevity is great; bM mineral blushes do not fade, and have great staying powder. I have not had any problems with them in that department. They feel weightless on my skin. Also, the product has a really long shelf life. These are actually pretty affordable; especially in bareEscentuals outlets, where you can get the little blushes for like $6 each. I recommend these to everyone!

I love all of the loose BM blushes that I have ever tried. They are highly pigmented easy to blend out. And, they are very long-lasting on the face as well.
