First and foremost, this is not your typical mega watt highlighter. This is a luminizer that luminize your skin and give bright and fresh appearance. This can act as a blush if you are very pale and like very subtle pink cheek color. Subtle is the key here. I was not interested in buying this when this came out. I saw it on Sephora and thought the powder presentation and color is so much nicer that on the website. I applied it as a highlighter on my cheekbones, nothing happened. But, I was watching a YTber age 50+ and she was applying all Guerlain products on her face and when she applied this product as her last step, really I could see a huge difference on the camera. Her face suddenly lit up, although she applied Meteorites balls beforehand, this luminizer really bring everything to the next level. I was intrigued and thought my initial experiece with this powder somehow in error.
So, I bought it, And ended up loving it! I just used tinted sunscreen after moisturizer, Meteorites Beige Chic, Sheer bronzing powder in brunette and Chanel les beiges cream blush in peachy coral. Then I apply this luminizer all over and voila ! this powder brighten up my whole face. The pink and the peach doesnt clash at all. I didnt follow the instruction that sticked on the mirror. I just swirled it using meteorites brush. My advice is to try under natural lighting and avoid store lighting because it is usually very strong and “swallow” the magic in this powder. Whatever looks nice under store lighting usually looks harsh and powdery under natural lighting. And whatever looks great under natural lighting looks pale and undone under store lighting.
