Alezane means chestnut 🙂
This is the closest MAC Warm Soul (original) and benefit Rockateur dupe. I do not own the og Warm Soul to compare but ive seen an online review and swatches of them and they look identical. The reason i prefer Chanel blushes is because of the formulation. Its more pigmented and more finely milled/powdery(easy to blend). Mac blushes tend to hard pan very easily on me and its annoying to always tape it away. Anyways this blush is gorgeous. i look like i woke up like this and i naturally have a nice rosey coppery tan. This is not bright but def not boring or dull. It enhances my complexion and puts a radiant flush to my cheeks making me look healthy and sunkissed.
Alezane is gorgeous autumn leaf kind of color. The only downside to this is that it does have little flecks of golden glitter. I can see glitter when i move my face around in my bathroom and natural lighting. Id say stay away if you dont like glitter! The formula is soft and blends so seamlessly into the skin. Bare or on top of foundation. i like to sweep this from the apples of my cheeks to my nose for a almost natural sunburnt look. The smell never bothered me but it does have a floral fresh fragrance. Does not irritate my skin at all. Love this blush so much. I am nc20 C1 20 beige. Light neutral warm asian skintone.
Edit- i didnt think anything can replace this until i gotten my hands on 280 Golden Sun! It just melts into Soleil Tan de Chanel Cream bronzing base a bit better. I still enjoy Alezane but i feel Golden Sun goes well with everything and is less noticeable on the skin. it is cooler toned, a tad more bronze, less red tones, more nude and just beautiful! Both are gorgeous but i do favor Golden Sun a smidge more because Alezane has chunkier glitters and sometimes if i am not careful it can look too warm.

Long last. Excellent blending. A very nice color for day and night, very natural.

You know how bobbi brown antigua is marketed as a bronzer even though it is pink, but then you put it on like a bronzer and it warms your skin up and looks like a bronzer without being a bronzer? Alezane is exactly like that, except it is more rosy than antigua. I really like this blush, there is also a kind of gold sheen which isnt over the top- i wore this yesterday with only a little concealer and mascara on, and it wasn’t out of place. If you are trying to stepdown from a bronzer addiction, this is a good product, and if you want a blush that just wakes your face up, also a good product. I only have one warning, and it isn’t enough to take a lippie off my review, but this is one of the softest joues contrasts i have ever tried (and i have probably had ten or fifteen, this line of blush is usually more hard if anything)- the included brush really dusts up powder, so i suggest using your softest blush brush on this so as not to waste product.

Oh my god, this blush is simply gorgeous! A very beautiful shade, a mixture of brown and rosé with a touch of gold that looks very flattering on my fair skin.

I love this blush this go well with my chanel matte velvet lipstick in shade 53. Great pigment and stay on all day. I don’t need to touch up at all. Love neutral color try this color out.

I have light-medium tone skin with pink undertones. On me this shade shows up as a warm reddish color with golden sparkles. The sparkles are more noticeable than many other Chanel blushes but are still refined and can be buffed out to be less noticible. I like the sophisticated sparkle it provides. Its a perfect fall/winter shade for me. I sometimes like to mix Alezane with Chanel Golden Sun or Coups de Minute Jous Contrast Lumiere. It can be applied lightly or be built up for versatile day and night looks. My only complaint is its lasting power on me when worn alone- about 6-7 hours before disappearing (i dont wear primer). Otherwise, its a beautiful blush that I know I’ll be wearing often until spring rolls around.

Bought it to add to my collection. Shimmering bronzy, rather pigmented. Not very compliment for my yellow Asian complexion.

When I opened up this blush, I was completely smitten, so much so that I immediately took photos before I even dipped in my brush lol! However, my excitement was short lived…as soon as I applied Alezane my heart sank a little, it was full of glitter?! Not the refined and gorgeous shimmer we often see from Chanel, but chunky glitter that was very much visible on my cheeks. I tried different brushes but had no luck in obtaining a different result, but the shade itself really is beautiful.
I love Chanel Joues Contraste blushes, they are one of my top three absolute favorite formulas and I have some that are very shimmery. However, even the most “frosty” shade I own never ever left me with chunky glitter bits! When I reported my thoughts on Alezane to my friends, I was dismayed to learn that there must have definitely been some quality control issues with this particular shade. Some of us (like me) got the glitter bomb, some received a gorgeous, warm, glowy blush, void of any glitter at all…just refined, beautiful Chanel shimmer. If you are still considering purchasing this product, I highly recommend either going to a counter so you can see what you’re buying (if you look very very closely, the glitter is visible) OR ordering from a retailer that has a solid return policy

Alezan (translation: “chestnut brown”) is the blush in Chanel’s Fall 2015 collection, “Les Automnales”). At first I was hesitant about buying it because I read a blog review which said that it was too dark and shimmery, but the Chanel SA persuaded me to try it, and I am so glad I did. The trick is to apply it with a very light hand, and then it gives my light complexion a gorgeous warm glow. There is gold microshimmer, but it’s very very subtle. If you pile it on, then yes, you’ll find it’s too intense and shimmery, but just dip your brush into the pan, sweep it across your cheeks and voilà ! – you’ll look as though you just came back from a brisk walk in the woods. The color is a warm brown-pink which I think will suit most complexions.
Edit: other reviewers and bloggers have complained about the excess shimmer in the blush, which has not been my experience – and I finally figured out why. I bought mine in Canada, which is the same formulation as in France, but the one sold in the States is different. Obviously someone at Chanel said “Americans love shimmer – let’s give it to them!”
