Being an ex-student of MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY, I got to use almost all of their products during our classes. Though all of their products are really good, this hd blush has impressed me the first time I used it.
This is a cream blush but it’s so smooth and feels like powder also. It blends so beautifully. This can be applied with fingers or with a brush but mostly, I use fingers cos it looks very natural. I also checked its appearance on the skin in different lights, outdoor and indoor lights and it really is HD and does not have streaks. The texture is just so smooth and it really is second skin blush. It also doesn’t have shine or glitter in it, just pure pretty flush of color. This is the only blush that stays fresh and still the same amount of color even at the end of the day on my very oily skin.
I’m really impressed with this blush. It lasts a long time too cos you need very little for every use. I will definitely repurchase!

This is very natural looking blush. I have it in color number 220.
Sometimes powder blushes make my cheeks look old when they fade but this blush does not give me this effect. I like it but I don’t think I will repurchase it as I don’t think I am going to finish it.
By the time I either finish it or it has expired, it will have been already discontinued.

I’ve used powder blushes my entire life so when I recieved a sample of 410 I almost threw it out. In the past cream blushes have made me look like a clown. I’ll admit to being heavy handed when it comes to blush so when I decided to try this I decided to start slow and add more as needed. This bush blended out beautifully and looked so natural I was so surprised. As the day progressed i found my blush was still just as nice as when I applied it. This blush blends beautifully without the clown effect and lasts a good 7 to 8 hours without touch ups. It gives a nice glow that feels very natural. It didn’t streak or fade away. I’ve already purchased 2 more colors.

This blush is awesome! I have the shade 420 and it is a lovely peach color. Super pigmented, blendable, and looks like skin. I like to use my MAC 130 brush to apply this but any dense small stippling brush will do and just use a tiny amount. All you need is a little. Also I like to put MAC peaches powder blush on top. Highly recommend this!

I am an N/NW 10-15 with pink undertones, especially in my cheeks. I purchased it in 225, which is a pale peachy color. I am happy with it. I returned 220. I was hoping it would be more sand than pink but it just didn’t look good on me (pinks really don’t). I received a sample of 410, which is supposed to be a universal (coral) shade. It is a beautiful color but it can easily make me look like a clown so I won’t be purchasing that one. I am still in the market for another shade, though, because the quality is the best I’ve ever used. They are buildable, dry down to a powder finish, and last all day.

Let me start off by saying I’m a huge fan of drugstore makeup; they’re inexpensive and of good quality. But, every once in a awhile, a gal has gotta splurge! MUFE is one of my favorite splurges. Specifically this HD Blush in 515 (and their eye shadow, but that’s a whole ‘nother review).
Listen up my chocolate ladies! If you haven’t bought this Tangerine blush, do so imediately! Vibrant oranges are probably the most flattering color on our skin and if you’re really not a “makeup geek”, let this be the only blush you buy. Vibrant, smooth, long lasting, moisturizing and very easy to apply. Now if you have very oily skin, this MIGHT not be the product for you, but for those with normal to dry skin, this is so worth the $26. Buy this blush!

I have #225 and #320. My skin has a problem with blush, (powder, liquid, gel or cream alike) within an hour, it will turn orange brown on me. I was a bit skeptical at first when I purchased #225 pinky peach, I applied with a brush, the colour melts into the skin, it is really undetectable, and stay true to the colour.
After testing it out, I returned to pick up #320, same good result.
For some, the small compact can be a bit tricky to open.

Warning: this is going to be a super long and in-depth review, as there are no others for this yet.
Okay, so I own this in the shade 410. This is amazing universal coral shade. It was love at first sight when i saw this tester at Sephora, it just looked like the perfect summer shade. Before I begin, talking about this formulation I should tell you ladies (and gents?) about what kinds of bases I feel this applies best over. I use this over a BB cream/ Primer which i set with a powder, that makes for a great finish. I did not like the way this applied over non-powdered liquid foundation, it seemed to “run” downwards on the cheeks. When I set liquid foundation with a loose translucent silica powder (also Make Up For Ever HD), i found this solved the problem and helped the blush really stay where i applied it. This also looks great on bare skin, you know, for those lucky few with amazing skin that can pull that off. 🙂 I Texture wise, i like this. It is not too soft in the pan, so when you go to dab your finger in it it is almost impossible to “squash” it or remove product by accident, and it seems you have to really rub it to make it “melt” onto your finger (it did not stain my fingers at all) and then onto your cheek. Due to this really seeming to need heat to “melt”, I did not like the way this applied when I attempted to apply this with a brush (tried four different ones), too much got like “scraped” out of the pan, and it went on patchy (darker in some areas, lighter in others) and streaky, because one or the other just wasn’t bad enough, right? Moral of the story: applying this with a brush was an total failure. Now, as for the pigmentation, i think that it is great. I have a darker completion (For reference…Make Up For Ever HD foundation shade: 173, Bare Minerals shade: Golden Dark, MAC shade: NW 42, BECCA Ultimate Coverage Creme Shade: Bamboo, Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation shade: Tan-Deep sand) and this shows up very vibrantly on me without having to build much, and the color stays true-to-pan, unlike other blushes which change color (or do not appear at all) on brown skin, so this was a pleasant surprise. I have used this blush on several friends of mine, of all different shades, and it really does give a beautiful healthy flush to all of our faces, without appearing too sheer or too heavy. Another pleasant surprise with this product is the way it applies to lips. Although this is not it’s original purpose, I have an amazing coral lipgloss (Bare Mineral Marvelous Moxie: The Party Starter), and had the thought to just layer the gloss on top of this blush on my lips to intensify the pretty color, and that turned out to work out very well, the blush was not drying and did not cling to any flakes on the lips. On to some things that I did not like about this product…the lasting power is really not all that great. Worn alone, this only lasted about three hours, before fading almost completely. I have worn this under powder blush (I do not have powder blushes that are very coral, but I find this layers well under peachy blushes too, my favorites over this being: Bare Minerals: The Natural High READY blush and Kat Von D: Bellisima), which improved the lasting power by a few hours. I would say under powder blush i got an average of 6-7 hours wear before i noticed fade out. If you’re super in love with this exact shade and do not want to add another color over the top, translucent silica powder (both Make Up For Ever, and the inexpensive but equally as great NXY powder) work very well for the purpose of extending this blushes wear time. So even the negative aspect of the product has a pretty simple solution.
