Sadly this has been discontinued!! The exact shade of this can be duped by Chanel Les Beiges Colour Stick in no.20.

i never thought anything would replace my Chanel 260 Alezane, but this cooler tone tan rose shade in 280 Golden Sun is just magical and everything i never knew i needed/wanted in a blush. if that makes sense. you know how you find your hg and can never possibly think you were able to find something better? Thats my Golden Sun. I wish i had seen this one sooner and before i had picked up Alezane. Alezane has more of a red copper undertone where sometimes it can be a bit too warm on me(sunburnt). This on the other hand is more neutral and natural, its “good lighting” in a blush and so effortless. It ties my makeup together and easily melts into my bronzer. I pair this with Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Base and its “polished to perfection”. I use this when i have a stronger eye or bold lips. It never screams for attention but give me a glow that makes me look so healthy and lightly tanned in a natural and soft rosey way. the formula of Chanel blushes are to die for, blends beautifully and never patchy so smooth and it looks like second skin . I can use this on bareskin or on top of foundation and it never looks bad. Although some might find the smell to be offputting. I dont mind it because it doesnt linger and i love the color!
The only thing about this blush is that it is a perfect summer blush but in the winter when I am at my palest, it can look a bit orange or too warm on my cheeks. I do prefer a rosier cheek in the winter so I do pull out my 350 Rosewood instead of 280 Golden Sun

I bought this for a VERY dorky reason – it’s listed as Anya’s blush for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Emma Caulfield and I have similar colouring, though she may be a bit deeper-toned than me. When it arrived, I was so disappointed. It was BURGUNDY with red and gold shimmer. This was a blush for an NC45 or deeper! I tried applying it and it was just so dark.
I was ready to pack it up and send it back, but I decided to give it one more chance. I got out my biggest, fluffiest powder brush and buffed like there was no tomorrow. I used tiny dips of colour each time and buffed in a circular motion up and down my cheekbone. Voila! It became an instant favorite.
I’m a neutral PPP and Golden sun is a deep burgundy-rose with finely milled gold and red shimmer. I use it mostly in fall or winter to warm up my complexion. It’s a perfect blush for making high cheekbones pop. I usually place it under my cheekbone and add a highlight shade on top of the bone, like Becca pressed shimmer powder in Angel or Benefit moonbeam.
I especially like using it with Chanel twinkle glossimer and qudra eyeshadow in influences or les mattes naturels. It’s also great with a berry lip like Chanel casablanca aqualumiere lipstick or Clinique black honey lipstick.

Gorgeous blush! It gives you a natural looking blush with a bit of a glow.
I LOVE Chanel blushes. It is a treat when I reach for this sleek black Chanel compact and open it. The blush dome smells like roses, so chic! The ‘shimmer’ is so finely milled that it gives a natural looking glow on the skin, absolutely no shimmery particles. The color on the skin looks like your own natural flush, especially when you layer it with powder on top for a translucent finish. The color is pigmented and long lasting. But it can look a bit blotchy if you don’t apply it well.

This is such a gorgeous, natural-looking color, like the natural color of your cheeks. I only wish that it had a bit more shimmer…

I’ve worn this blush for at least ten years. It goes with ANY eyeshadow or lipstick. I have very pale olive skin and I hate anything that looks too jejeune or too makeup-y. I am in my mid-50s and people CONSTANTLY assume that I am in my 30s or 40 at most. No one has ever asked me what blush I was wearing. People just say I look vibrant and healthy. This is my HOLY GRAIL. If Chanel ever stops making it I will travel the world and buy all of the remainders that I can find.

I ADORE this. I stared at it for weeks at the counter (where there was no pesky SA) and would bring home a cotton swab with a bit of this smudged on to try at home for awhile. I finally gave out today and it’s fabulous! I’m NW20, so at first sight you might think this would be a bit muddy for me but it’s not! On me it’s a DARK peachy-brown with a slight rosiness that, when smudged on a little (I use a latex sponge)on my cheekbones. I look absolutely glowy and happy and pretty! I am so glad I finally bought this and I think it’ll last me a very long time but I do vow to repurchase this when it runs out!

I’ve been using this blush for 7 years(!!!) and I still love it. The color–deep pink with a slight golden shimmer, is absolutely perfect. It’s the natural flush of my skin (neutral/warm undertones), so when I put it on, it enhances my skin without looking artifical. You can see the difference when I put it on, but unless you actually see the before/after pictures, it doesn’t look like I’m wearing blush. This blush quite obviously works well, since it’s still in great working condition after 7 years. I switch this off with NARS orgasm during the summers, when the peachy shade brings out my tan better. Golden Sun, however, is a great year-round blush. I will not hesitate to re-purchase.

I rarely wear makeup on my face but for lipgloss, however I have a soft spot for Chanel’s blushes. I guess you could say I collect them, though I rarely wear them. Chanel’s packaging is really nice and classy, and makes me feel like I’m back in another era. Anyway, this color, “Golden Sun/Terre Brule” is really beautiful and natural on my skin. I am VERY pale with yellow undertones I guess. When I get a tan people have considered my complexion olive. This literally looks like the sun hit me after a long day outside. I like it better than any bronzer. I use it on my cheeks and nose… and people compliment my “glow” a lot when I wear it. It’s the one Chanel blush I will likely use til the end and repurchase. Also, let me comment on the texture of Chanel blushes–the best. Most of them are slightly pearlized but never metallic. They look so natural which is probably why they’re the only ones I’d consider buying.

I swapped this because I was so dissapointed with it. The colour just didn’t show up on my cheeks and if Chanel is going to charge me an arm and a leg for a blush, I wish they’d give me more product and less of their cheap plastic compact.

I broke down @ bought this, after the longest time.I was very impressed w/this color. It is so hard for me to find the right blush texture & color. This one is long time keeper!
