Cream blush…too dark for me

I usually prefer powder blush. I am a blush fiend. I’m also pale with neutral undertones. I had to have this blush. I have the lipstick. This blush is natural looking, but be careful of over applying since it takes a few seconds for it to turn pink. It turns into a beautiful flush on me. Not hot pink. Not baby pink. More like a rosy I just ran a few blocks flush. I love it. The texture sets after you apply not quite to a powder finish but you won’t feel greasy.

This is a super long lasting blush. It looks natural on me (NC30) and lasts the entire work day. Now it’s probably just me, but blusher never lasts on me – I’ve used Nars, Chanel, MAC, Benefit, Estee, Becca, you name it, and it usually fades by early afternoon, sometimes even before.
This blusher lasts and last – all day look, looks natural and I couldn’t be happier with it. Yes, it’s pricey but I don’t need much. I layer over the top part of my cheekbones with Becca Poured Moonstone and the result is a pretty and natural flush with a hint of highlighted cheekbones.
Love it!

I fell for this…but when a gimmick is this luxurious and good, well, it’s all worth it. I purchased the lipstick a month or so ago, and was surprised to find that the sheer medium berry worked so well on my NC40/C4 skin.
The blush is in a solid, rose metallic, Art Deco looking compact. A bit small, but travel-friendly. It’s green (no shimmer) and waxy/oily. Applied to cheeks, it’s non streaky, non-draggy and develops into a beautiful rose flush. It’s probably not for deeper skin tones; it’s a bit light for me. For fairer people, I think this would be a winner. I plan to keep on using it though. I hope Poppy King makes more of this type of blush. I would repurchase it. It’s a gimmick, yes. But it’s kind of hard not to love it.

Frog Prince has become my everyday lip gloss/stain. It’s sheer, but gives a noticeable color to my lips. Background: I just turned 70, have fair skin with warm undertones and some rosacea, so I have some red in my complexion; hair is a mix of brown/gray/silver. On me, Frog Prince turns a raspberry pink, which normally I would avoid, since cool colors don’t flatter me, but this adds just the right pop of color to brighten my face. I will repurchase.

I was hoping this would be a good replacement for my HG tinted lip balm, Dior lip glow. Alas, frog prince turns a deep raspberry pink on me, which would be very pretty on some people but it’s not the fresh, naturally enhanced pink that I get from Dior ) :

Tried it several times. Kept applying it, like every 30 minutes. Kept waiting…and waiting…AND waiting. Never changed color on me, so yeah. Pretty angry I gave away $25 for a LIPSTICK?!
Chanel red, oh yeah. But green “frog” lipstick, oh NO 😠

This is magic! The color morphs into a beautiful dark pink that is noticeable but still natural. It is not drying at all and the color lasts. I will go out and buy as soon as I run out, and am planning on trying some of Lipstick Queen’s other lipsticks because I am so impressed with this.

I bought this on a whim when reading about it in the inflight shopping magazine. I was intrigued by the look of the product and the description, so I just had to try it. And I love it! I have been looking for a nice everyday lipstick, and this is it!
The product glides on like a lip balm and also feels very much like a lip balm, instead of feeling like a heavy lipstick. It feels very nice, light and moisturizing on the lips. It’s weird to use the green stick and then having the lips turn a beautiful rosy color. I love how it looks! The product gives enough color for the effect to be clearly visible. At the same time it looks very natural. So this lipstick is perfect for everyday use when you want your lips to have a bit of extra color.
The color stays put surprisingly well after eating and drinking. So the lipstick appears to stain the lips, which gives this long-lasting effect. So you don’t have to constantly reapply the product to keep the color on. For me the pay-off is similar to Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in the color Sweet Violet, but thankfully without the bad smell and with a slightly lighter, nicer feel on the lips.
The packaging looks very nice and has a high-quality feel to it, which helps to justify the price. The product is a bit expensive though, but I would buy it again!

I love lipstick queen, but for some reason it took me a while to buy this one. However it ‘s quickly become my absolute favorite lipstick. Very natural, I can apply this without any lip contour, it just gives you a nice, natural rosy tint on the cheeks for daywear. I also find that it lasts longer than medieval (which is another one of my favorites). Beautiful color for summer and winter !

This is one of my new favorite lip products. I think some people aren’t thrilled by it because they’re expecting an opaque lipstick. However, this is actually a lip stain. It’s exactly what I was hoping it would be: sheer yet pigmented, moisturizing yet light. This gives my lips a natural, cool-toned pink flush that looks equally good with a bare face or a full face of makeup. The formula is really unique; it’s moisturizing (one of the first ingredients is castor oil) but it doesn’t coat my lips in a heavy layer or mask. It looks natural because it allows the texture of your lips to show, which I personally like but could also be a disadvantage if your lips are chapped or wrinkled. I can wear it multiple days in a row without my lips getting dry (I just make sure to apply a good balm overnight). Also, the green color just makes it fun to apply. The packaging is simple, high quality, and sleek. It’s a little pricey, but if you’re interested in other Lipstick Queen colors, try purchasing one of the gift sets–you can get two or three full-size lipsticks for a reduced price.
Overall, if you’re looking for a great, “my lips but better” lip stain that has a foolproof application, this is the product for you!

Well, now I own the whole lineup of Frogs-the lipstick, blush and gloss. The gloss is my favorite by a small margin.
First-it’s gorgeous in the tube. The tube is “flat” and pocket-friendly. The cap is metallic pink with a doe foot applicator. The product is simply The Emerald City. The most beautiful emerald-green metallic. And you put it on…and it’s green…then it’s berry with green shimmer…then it’s a really nice medium berry. Not gloppy, not sticky, not drying. Lasting power is similar to that of most good quality glosses, but I assure you, you will enjoy reapplying. Luxury gimmick; totally worth it. Color is not one of those screaming mood colors-it’s pretty and wearable on my warm skin, and I suspect it would be dynamite on cool complexions.

This one won’t work for everyone, but on me personally, it is the perfect blush pink. My lips are naturally quite pigmented, a sort of dark dusky colour. They change colour depending on how warm it is and I can look a little bit… well, like death warmed over when the temperature is less than optimal. on application, this immediately changes to a cool toned pink, the perfect undertone to give my face some life without the high maintenance associated with a full lipstick application.
The balmy feel of this wears off in about 2 hours, but it leaves a subtle pinkish stain which I happen to love. For those wondering, the Kailijumei colour-changing flower lipsticks are a lot more brightly coloured, although still very pretty, can veer towards garish if you go heavy on the application. Frog Prince is a lot more toned down and easy to wear.

I love this thing. It gives me the most beautiful shade of red. It’s perfect for everyday use which is what I needed.

This started a beautiful colour. The way it faded was the problem. It stayed the cherry red on the outside of my lips and faded fast on the inside. Reapplication reinforced the colour on edge and the middle looked the original colour-fail for me. Full disclose I do drink a lot of water so lipsticks need a lot to hang in there.
I do use the frog prince blush as a lip colour and I love that!
