Honestly i always love Etude House blushers but since i came across Tony Moly Cristal Blusher, i really fall in love with it and will surely buy it again and recommend you guys always! Normally i buy online from and wonder if any other choice you guys have in mind?

Thanks to the reviewer below, I picked up the Milky Violet shade and absolutely love it! I usually stay away from blush because I find that it overwhelms my face and can often be too heavy or powdery looking. I love that this lilacy-pastel shade works more like a subtle highlight with a slight hint of color. It’s a pretty unique combination that I haven’t found in anything else, since most highlighters are a tad too shimmery, and most blushes are a tad too pigmented. I’ve also experimented using this as an eyeshadow base, and it works just lovely!

Its not everyday you see a blush that look stands out from in the sea of sparkly peachy-pinks and skin-warming bronzers. So when I heard TonyMoly were selling milky cool-toned shades like Milky Violet and Milky Pink in MATTE finishes for only $8! Well I had to get at least one. Not since my Eddie Funkhouser palest petal pink blush in “Cheeky” have I been so happy. I ended up with the shade “Milky Violet 04” as reviewers recommended this was the bomb for brightening yellow toned skins. I brought it for $8 from UrbanOufitters online.
First off the compact is a solid clear acrylic disk which displays the blush through the case which makes selection easy. It is solid feeling yet compact in size, holds a decent 4.5 g amount of blush. Opens easily with the help of a little tab to push you thumb against so my nails are happy right there. Shuts firmly with same satisfying “snap” of a Mac blush. On the back is an English sticker label that covers the original Korean label with the ingredients list. The English label doesn’t have the expiry date and is a cheap paper one not as pretty as the silvery original one which is annoying. I hope they fix that in time.
The texture of the blush feels so smooth and creamy soft, and glides on and blends like a dream. I don’t normally shiver when I run my finger over a blush to swatch, but this is THE silkiest blush I’ve ever had and it feels like silk to touch (equal to that magical vintage Eddie Funkhauser blush I still have). If any of the other shades are similar I’ll be sure to pick another one up.
The color Milky Violet 04 is a pale lilac-pink satin with a semi-sheer white base and a brightening luminescent finish. No glitter or obvious sparkle, just a smooth matte-glow and gives a perfect mermaid cheek. More dolly than your regular dolly pink blush which usually turn peachy over my yellow toned skin, this stays lilac pink 🙂 The beauty of this blush is the combination of semi sheer and white base. It provides some coverage and blurs out my imperfections, yet is transparent enough to show my natural skin through. Its so surreal yet natural, it almost looks as if I’m wearing nothing as there is no caking or shimmer what so ever yet the color is there glowing on my cheek. I’m very pale, around NC5, and Milky Violet is very pigmented on me, but if you are darker than say NC20 then maybe go for one of the other darker shades.
Lasting power is all day on me, around 8 – 10 hours.
