Ummm….this doesn’t show up…at all…not even a little. I tried multiple layers with multiple brushes. The only flush I saw was from my cheeks being irritated from all the rubbing trying to get this crap on. I inspected my face closely with a magnifying mirror and all I saw was some sparkles. I got this in peaches and thought it looked too dark for my skin-Im quite fair-but figured maybe Id use it in the summer if it was…not a problem it’s literally the palest “blush” Ive ever seen….highlighters, brigteners and illuminators serve as a better blush than this. $2 makeup works better than this. I think its just too dry…why why why.
*EDIT* I managed to find a brush that actually works at picking up enough product to apply this blush so that its visible. I used my Eco Tools travel size kabuki that I normally use when I need heavy duty concentrated powder foundation on bad skin days…so maybe the key is you need a tiny but heavy duty brush to apply this…but still…the struggle is REAL people! And it shouldn’t be. Anyway Im upgrading it to a 2….it does look pretty while its on…but its not the most natural melt into your skin kind of blush…it kind of sat there looking blushy. It did however last an entire workday…

i’m very fair with pink undertones. i have this in the shade roses.
this blush is barely pigmented. my cheeks have a natural flush which this blush matches well, when i swirl my brush about 80 times before applying to my face. when i make the effort, it looks good but it’s not really worth it. as someone who uses nars blushes regularly and is used to having major colour payoff, i find this blush annoying to use.
packaging is pretty crap too, i dropped this once on my bathroom floor and it’s now broken and won’t close. overall pretty meh, wouldn’t repurchase.

WARNING: You’re about to read a whole lot of nonsense but stick with me and you should understand at some point. I got this in Roses and I can’t whine about price cos it cost me $2 in a clearance bin.
This blush is not a good blush, there are plenty of better drugstore blushes out there. It is hard to get out of the pan, it’s not very pigmented and it takes a good amount of work to get a nice colour on your cheeks. However it is matte, it stays matte and it lasts a good while so thats a plus.
I love it. I have really pale skin and I’m heavy handed with blush, if I’m not careful I end up looking like a clown. All the things that make this a bad product, work out perfectly for me. Having to work harder get this on means I can confidently gradually build up the colour to what I think looks the best on me and I prefer a soft, natural looking blush.
If you are a beginner and pale skinned, give this ago. It could work for you too 🙂

I got this in Roses and am completely underwhelmed. I am quite pale too. The 2 lighter shades are very subtle and the only part of the blush that are picked up on a brush, the darker shade is so hard that it cannot be picked up on a blush brush or fingertips. I got this hoping to be able to control how deep or light i can apply, but but even after 3 swipes on my cheek, I could see nothing. Maybe the compact I bought is defective but this blush has zero colour payoff for that reason. The colours in the compact look lovely, and I like the lack of shimmer but I really am disappointed in how poor this product is. I rarely buy anything but mascara by cover girl now. The last CG eyeshadow quad I bought had zero colour payoff too. They really need to get back to basics because the products seem to be going way downhill in the last few years. I will stick to my cheap Essence or my L’Oréal for now and will be turfing this blush. Had it worked for me, the price is nice, but ultimately this was a big waste of money.

I have this in the shade Roses. I’ve tried it with different brushes, and it’s pretty underwhelming. I have worn it quite a bit because I don’t buy a whole lot of blushes, but it is very, very subtle and doesn’t last very long. I do have very pale skin and it does not show up well on me, and fades throughout the day. I paid about $8, my Essence blush that is only $4 is a better product than this.
People who like matte blushes might like this a little more than me, but I like a touch of shimmer, especially if the product has “glow” in the title.

I was drawn to this blush because of the beautiful simple packaging. I chose #100 Roses, because I have fair skin and that’s the lightest shade. Plus, the other shades looked very warm-toned and this was the most neutral-looking of the bunch. However, I should mention that if your association with the word “roses” is something pink, you will be disappointed. This might be the colour of tea roses at best; it definitely leans towards terracotta in the darkest of the 3 hues in the compact. Anyway, I like the colour and would be happy with it as a blush except for the fact that IT DOESN’T SHOW UP AT ALL. Keep in mind I am fair and I usually have the opposite problem, ie. clown cheeks. There’s next to no transfer to the blush brush – whoever said below this feels hard as a brick was right. I have tried various application methods including wetting the blush brush first, as one might do with eyeshadows to make them stand out more. Nope, that didn’t help. Buh-bye CG Clean Glow Blush.

I love wearing this with Maybelline’s Color Sensational in Maple Kiss (lipstick looks pinker on my lips so it works perfectly). I have this blush in the color Roses.
I really love this blush. I have a hard time with blush because on my fair skin it’s so easy to either go overboard with color or, when trying nudes, look washed out and colorless.
I tried this for the first time a few weeks ago and it’s now my daily blush. It’s subtle enough to look like I just have a beautiful glow but has enough color to not make me look make-up-less. It applies beautifully. It does not come with a brush so you get more product since none of us use those crappy brushes anyway.

Nice concept & pretty colors, BUT HARD AS A BRICK even wen I swirl over the product hard w my fingertip to swatch. VERY LITTLE COLOR PAYOFF evn w much effort. I ended up getting the Neutrogena ‘Healthy Skin Blends’ (mosaic squares) sheer highlighting blush that is very delicate, very natural, & very buildable blush. It’s ‘illuminating’ but not ‘glittery’ at all. The Cover Girl is going in the trash. Wish I had kept my receipt, but didn’t expect to b disappointed in Cover Girl. 🙁

I have this in color 100. Roses. I am new to contouring and I only do my cheeks. This to me is perfect for a newbie. It has a light, medium and dark shade to work with. Great staying power and wonderful texture. And its MATTE! Priced fair too. Go for it buy a compact or all three colors!

First of all, I must tell you that this is the first time in about 8 years that I’ve bought ANY product from Covergirl. I say this because my last CG experience was an utter disaster (see my review for Smoky ShadowBlast). But somehow I was draw in by the very attractive, door-facing display of CG products at my local CVS. It was so attractive that I thought all the products on it were new.
This blush was just under some highlighters that might be new items by CG. I was immediately draw to the Peaches because it looked the prettiest to me and would best suit my skintone (MAC Face & Body C3). The way it looks in the the package is gorgeous, like three waves of color in light peach, medium peach, and dark peach.
The way I applied this was to swirl my brush through all of the colors and sweep and blend.
The color comes on subtley, no doubt, but it shows up lightly on the first application. If you layer it with a second application the color is more pronounced. I definitely disagree with the reviewer in the other thread for this product that it is not worth the money because there is not enough color payoff. This is not an Illamasqua or Nars blush where you just dab your brush in and get a ton of color. It needs to be built up.
I love this blush because it is so easily blendable, just as it promises to be, and because it is so finely milled. I actually saw dust in the air as I was applying it and I have seen that since I used Aromaleigh loose mineral powder. I like that because it means to me that it blends into your skin better, appearing as a second skin.
