I really like this blush a lot. In my opinion, it doesn’t appear to be a plum shade, to me, it is more of a deep cool rose tone, but I like how it looks on me so the name of the shade doesn’t bother me. I don’t particularly care for the packaging because it looks and feels cheap, but nobody sees it except for me and my vanity drawer. I also don’t like the brush which is included, I toss it and I use a high quality blush brush and it makes all the difference in the world.

I am embarrassed to admit that I have had this blush for YEARS, I am speaking of the self same compact. So this either speaks loudly for its longevity or my cheapness, but getting to the point, this blush is my first choice–always. The color is a pink/red/plum and as others have described, it really does look like my coloring when coming in from the cold. It does have a very small amount of “sparkle” and the texture is grainier than high end blushes, but none of that matters to me, mostly because of or in spite of, the color is very controllable with a decent blush brush. I dislike heavily pigmented blushes, because they are so much “work” to bring them under color control. Also, I find this one to have a multi dimensional color element. My daughter, who generally buys high end makeup, had to laugh at me having a Cover Girl blush…until she tried it. Even *she* admitted that it was the most natural looking blush she has tried and has it in her stash as well. We both have fair, neutral to cool undertones, but I would think that it would look lovely on a variety of skin tones.

The only thing I dislike about this is the smell. Definitely a strong, flowery scent that I don’t like. But, I do love the color of this, especially in the fall and winter. It looks awesome on my fair skin and has just enough shimmer.

I have way too many blushes. This one replaces the discontinued Wine with Everything by Revlon and while I am not too fond of the smell, it is nicely pigmented and it does give me a natural look. And the smell does go away. I cannot do peachy shades, they do not show up on my skin. You get a lot of blush. Better than the Cheekers. I threw away the brush; it was too scratchy.

I soooo love this product. It complements my asian skin tone and it looks soo natural on skin. The color is not too loud yet not too pale. this is the only blush on I owned, I am loyal to this one. 🙂

I love love love this colour; the first blush I’ve ever owned. Swatching it on my hand I get this beautiful iridescent gold plum shade, this however does not translate on to the skin without lots of building up (clown level) which is unfortunate because I really do like it. Other than that, pigmentation is quite good.
I gave it 3 stars because the longevity is non existent, it lasts form about 3 hours max before it totally disappears:(
I notice a lot op people commenting about the smell, I really like the smell actually! I also agree with the weird thing that it does where it looks like its been wet?? I just use the brush in the pan to move around the pigments and that solves that for the most part.

The color is really nice BUT this product made me develop bumps on my face and broke me out tremendousley. I thought it was only me so i tried it on my sister and she also developed bumps and a huge rash on her face. Has anyone else experiencing that problem?

Iced Plum is a lovely color, although the name is a little deceiving. I was surprised when I opened this to find that it definitely reads more like a light fuchsia/hot pink on my skin, although that may have worked in its favor. There are small multi-colored glitters in this blush, however unlike a lot of other Covergirl blushes I own I find that these are barely noticeable on the skin. The smell is typical of Covergirl cheek products, although not particularly overpowering once on the face.
The reason I’m giving this a 2 is because of the blush texture. For some reason, a lot of my Covergirl blushes seem to get this weird texture when I rub them that completely ruins the blush (sort of like pilling? photo will be attached). Unfortunately this has happened to my Iced Plum, rendering this once nicely-pigmented color pretty much unusable. |: I swatch this now and absolutely no color comes off; I use a brush and get the exact same results. For that reason, I would not repurchase.

Iced Plum is more hot pink than plum, but it’s very flattering on cool toned skin. I’m fair and it’s very pigmented on me – a little goes a long way. I like the classic color blushes better than CG cheekers blushes because there is much more product and it’s easier to get to with your brush. The packaging is very basic with no bells and whistles and actually takes a little bit of assembly, but it’s very easy and nothing that can’t be figured out. As with a lot of CG products, this blush is highly scented with the Noxzema smell. It doesn’t bother me, but it’s something to keep in mind.

I adore the packaging for starters! I love the color but the pigmentation and lasting power is a bit short.. still an amazing product. I love the fresh scent! Will re-purchase!
