I am new convert to Cover Girl Cheekers. I have always loved Clinique blush but they discontinued my two favorite colors so I am boycotting (kidding not kidding! bring back Fig & Clover and I am customer for life!) Anyway, I have been grabbing up these little gems since they aren’t much of an investment and pack quite a punch. My latest addition is Brick Rose. From the plethora of reviews on here already, what more can I say? Its a gorgeous neutral pinky brown based blush with heavy dose of sheen that comes off more as a dewy look than shimmer or glitter. Which frankly as a 30 something woman is not the look I am trying to achieve. Brick Rose is a great neutral blush to build upon. Works well with a natural eye or a night time smokey eye, whatever your going for I find it seems to fit the bill as the color is extremely buildable and has decent staying power. I always set my makeup with a powder for the day so that may help matters but all in all for under $4.00 this is going to be a staple in my beauty bag.

Don’t let the pan color fool you…it’s not a true representation of this beautiful color. It goes on silky smooth, builds and blends perfectly, has a beautiful sheen and is a perfect shade of a glowy neutral pink beige. It gives a very natural looking glow and is long wearing! True love!

Nicely pigmented but not TOO overpowering, although it pulls frosty. The packaging sucks, and is a really awkward size to fit your brush into.

Not a bad little blush, cheap and a nice colour, a neutral mauvey rose with brownish undertones and a VERY shiney look once it’s applied.
Looks peachy in the pan but goes on more of a mauve rose with neutral brown. VERY sheer, which is a good thing because it is quite soft and you pick up a lot on a brush. I didn’t care for the brush that is provided but it works well enough that this tiny compact and brush would go in a purse for touch ups or for travel quite nicely. I like my big fluffy domed brush for blush application.
The smell is perfumey but not the obnoxious Noxema scent that CG products used to use.
Looks very very shiny once on my cheekbone and not in a good lit from within way. I think hte colour is great though and I prefer a sheer blush I can build up.
BUT I returned it for a refund, it made me itch like crazy and even if it hadn’t that shine would have stopped me buying again.

I’ve worn this blush for about 20 years. I have fair skin, blond hair and brown eyes. It’s a coral, rose color that I use to contour my cheeks. It looks great in the winter to give a nice glow and looks good when I have a little tan in the summer. I also dust it lightly on my temples to give a sun kissed look. I don’t use the provided brush unless I’m touching it up when I’m out bc I don’t carry a full size blush brush in my purse kit. I’ve never really noticed a fragrance as others have mentioned.

Great fall winter blush a great mix of pink and tan tones.

I have been trying to get away from the really pink shiny blushes and I was looking on the Cover Girl website and this color swatch caught my eye. I picked it up and tried at home and fell in love. My skin tone is cool and it looks great on my light complexion. It looks slightly brown but goes on like a cool pink. It gives me just the right amount of color not looking all shiny and pinky. This is a great color for day or night wear. I even love the traditional Cover Girl scent. 🙂 I think it was easy to apply and blended easily.

I bought this after reading reviews because I was looking for something peach-ish. I normally wear blue-based pinks, mauves, etc., and I wanted something natural-looking and easy to apply. I’m NW 20-25 and this works well on me because it doesn’t accentuate the pink/blue in my cheeks. I have tried many HE blushes through the years and have a few in my stash, but I keep coming back to my CG Plumberry Glow and now Brick Rose. If you’re sensitive to smell, then don’t buy it. It has that CG smell we’re all familiar with. It lasts on my oily face as long as any other blush I’ve worn (including each and every HE blush) and it’s was around 4 bucks.

I love this blush because it has just the right color to give me a really down-to-earth glow and it brightens my face wonderfully. It is priced very well, i just wish they wouldn’t waste their own money putting that cheap little brush in there…it goes straight to the trash every time. great coverage and it lasts a long time with a beautiful color, wouldn’t use anything else!

This is a beatiful shade, oddly named ‘brick rose’ because I see it is more to the cool side than warm brick shade as I expected and was looking for. It last and lasts, not too powdery, not too pigmented, just right.
The scent annoys a bit but is a fast vanishing one. Sadly, it is rated highly toxic in the cosmeticdatabase. So it is ruled out for everyday blush.
