I’m a fan of CT blushes because of their smooth application and the glow they give to the skin. I was wary to try Pillow Talk out of a belief it would look too muddy or brown on my NW20 skin, and especially because the Pillow Talk lipstick is a little too brown and warm-toned for me. However I am extremely pleasantly surprised at the effect. The color when applied appears peachy bronzy, not muddy, and just gives an elegant pop and contour to my face. If you’re not a fan of the lipstick, don’t let that scare you away from the blush, which I think is pretty different. My only concern about CT blushes is that they shatter easily if dropped (or even just shaken around in a makeup bag, which happened to me), so now I make sure to store it flat in a drawer.

Has quickly become a HG and already replaced my go to everyday blushes. It’s definitely the ineffectiveness pinky-nude for me and the finish is a beautiful satin. Staying power is very great for my very oily skin. It not patchy and doesn’t skip, just overall lives very lovely on the skin!

This blush has replaced my Mac Margin. Margin hardpans so easily that it wasnt worth it anymore. I was on the hunt for a dupe and replacement. I am so happy i found Pillow Talk, its a peachy pink nude with a champagne glow. I have light olive skintone nc15 to nc20. C1. I was afraid this would be too orange but its just right. Its a neutral peachy pink with the champagne in the middle. I dont swish and pop, i just swirl everything together. I love how i can skip highlighter when using this. Its silky and blends really easily on bareskin. It doesnt feel or look heavy. I dont really like the packaging , it is a bit flimsy. Also the shimmer does emphasize pores a bit but it gives me a healthy radiant natural flush, i dont mind it that much. Maybe with a pore filling primer or on top of foundation it will sit better.
edit- i gotten my hands on CT Ecstasy and Love Glow chic to cheek and i have to admit i like Love Glow the best. Comparing the Ecstasy and PillowTalk side by side, My bf says i look like i got punched on the side where i wore PT. Love Glow is what i wanted Nars Orgasm to be and my favorite because it looks the most natural on me. Ecstasy can lean a bit orange if i am heavy handed, PT also can look muddy, so i wont be repurchasing
I honestly think Mac Pinch O Peach matches better with the Pillow Talk Lip for a monochromatic look

This is a nice blush however it’s nothing speacial or unique.

I’m disappointed with how this looks on my skin tone (I’m around NW20 leaning neutral). It appears much darker than I expected, given I use the Pillowtalk lipstick and lipliner. When I first started using the lipstick I was somewhat put off by how brown it looked but it grew on me and I now use it regularly. Perhaps the same will happen with the blush. But right now it looks very dark on me, almost terracotta, even when I mix the lighter shade in with the darker outer rim. When I use each color alone they look like bronzer/contour and highlighter on me. The quality is definitely good and it lasts all day, I just feel self-conscious wearing it as blush since it’s obvious. I get more of the effect I was hoping for from the Hourglass blush in the shade Mood Exposure, which is a mauvey-brown mixed in with highlighter. The effect of that one is more subtle and less orangey.

I love this blush. I actually returned this a while back and soon realized what a huge mistake that was and purchased again. Staying power is phenomenal and packaging is sleek and gorgeous. It makes me glow. It pulls together any look and looks just stunning. Love!!
