The packaging is so cute and the color is great. Gives a perfect natural looking flush. It would be a perfect product if it didn’t cause me to break out. 🙁 It’s kind of surprising to me that it seems no one else has had this issue! Just a warning to the acne-prone gals out there.

This is by far my favorite every day blush. My mom bought it for herself while we were at Sephora one day and while I thought it looked great on her darker skin tone I figured it would be too bright for my pale self. I was totally wrong! it gives me just the right amount of color and even though It’s not shimmery at all It makes my skin look glowy and naturally radiant. It stays on all day and I find that it looks great with most lipstick shades. Definitely will repurchase if it ever runs out!

A really lovely product. One of my first purchases at the age of 13 at Sephora was a Tarte Cheek Stain, and I love that they are still just as good 10+ years later.
I have medium skin (NC40), and this comes off as the prettiest peachy flush on my skin. It’s not too cool, and I love that it’s not at all sparkly (pet peeve of mine with blushes), but has a really wonderful dewy, natural finish. The color payoff is perfect – noticeable, but not at all crazy – and is very easy to blend. It also lasts FOREVER. I wear mine every day and have for two months, and I’ve barely made a dent in it.
One caveat is that the stick is not particularly malleable, which is fine except that it can make transferring the product from the stick to your skin a bit difficult. You can apply it with a brush/sponge to make it easier and less messy – applying it directly to your face requires dotting it on quite a bit and can get a bit grimy if you have foundation or powder on.
By far my favorite blush in my arsenal, and worth a try if you are looking for something natural and dewy without being shimmery.

Tarte cheekstains in Bliffful is the real deal. One of my favorites. My complexion loves how this turns peachy pink on my cheeks and and looks great. I will be buying in the near future again no doubt

THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT.
And I recently heard from my local Sephora that they might be discontinuing it? Please don’t do this to me Tarte.
This product is absolute perfection. On days where I don’t want to wear make up, I just swoosh a little of this on my cheeks and I’m good to go. I don’t need anything else because this stuff instantly makes me look awake and healthy.
The colour is PERFECT for my skin tone, it makes me look like I’ve just had a lovely orgasm or had a great cardio session. It looks so natural, most of the time people can’t tell I have anything on. This is not a good product for a dramatic look because it’s not very buildable. It starts looking like clown make up if you put too much on.
When I purchased it, the lady at the store said it comes with so much product, I would probably never need to buy another one and I agreed. It really is an absurd amount of product. Despite this, because I use it almost everyday, 3 years later I’m out and I needed another. It is expensive, but it’s worth it because it does last ages.
I recommend the cheek stains to anyone!!! Find one that suits your skin tone, and you won’t regret it!

This is a pretty amazing product! I’m not usually a cream blush person but I loved this one. Works really well on my fair, warm Asian skintone.
I realized from reading reviews here that everyone seems to use it a little differently. I personally like to use this ON TOP of all my other face products – moisturiser, sunscreen, foundation, powder. It works best for me this way. I rub some of the product on my fingertips and pat on my cheeks. Get better control this way. Just my preference!
The color lasts all day. I never have to worry about touching up.
This is however a bit on the pricey side. I can see this lasting for a very long time so it’s an investment.
Also got another color “natural beauty” but haven’t tried it yet.
EDIT: I get way better control of colour intensity when I use this with a brush. My brush of choice is Real Techniques’ Expert Face Brush.
Also, I forgot to mention the packaging earlier. It comes in a push-up tube and mine was kind of “leaking” from the bottom.

I have been buying this cheek stain since 2009! They are expensive but in over five years I think I have maybe gone through like three? They are so worth it! I use mine daily, over my foundation to dew up my face a little just where I want it. I love this color with red lipstick and some neutral or brown eyeshadow. I also use the color flush a lot when my makeup is cooler – think berry lips and silvery eyes. Both are so fabulous, but I find myself loving Blissfull the most. It smells amazing, and it looks so yummy that I get excited to put it on.
I’ve tried a lot of other stains out there – high and low. Benetint, Pixie gel cheek stain, Revlon, Maybelline…nothing stands up to this and I find that I am wasting money trying to find something cheaper. Nothing does the job. I would say this stain and my mascara are my dessert island products. I’d rather have this than foundation if I had to choose. And I’m a full face of spackle type of gal.
This product is iconic for a reason! Even my mom loves it and she doesn’t deviate from the same makeup she’s worn for twenty years! I have very oily skin and this does not break me out. Ever. Love it! PS I would say that Blissfull is the most wearable, everyday shade that looks good on cool, neutral, and warm types. I have warm toned skin but the pink in this peach colored tint also looks great on my friend who has cool toned skin. Win/Win!

AS CHEEK STAIN
It seems I am cream blush inept because every time I try to apply this (and I gave it a good go for several months), I over-do it and end up looking clownish. The color is really beautiful but always too stark on my cheeks and difficult to blend out. I tried a couple application techniques and got the best results using a stipple brush, but perhaps a smaller/sparser one would have been better.
Pros:
* gorgeous, warm color
* generous size
* very long-lasting
* great pigmentation
Cons:
* too easy to over-do it
* difficult to apply lightly
* difficult to fix mistakes
AS LIP STAIN
After all of this, I was sad at the thought of getting rid of/wasting it, so I had an idea. After much googling, the product is entirely lip safe, so I scooped out a good chunk, melted it down, and poured it into a chapstick tube. The results were *amazing*! I love this lip stain! The only reason I likely won’t re-purchase is because I’d like to think Tarte’s Lipsurgence would be an ideal replacement.
Pros:
* color is so, so natural
* buildable to a brighter pink
* color is long lasting
* formula was unaltered by melting
* I have enough for several more chapstick tubes
Cons:
* original package too large for lip application
* it has a bitter taste (I cut this by applying a sweet chapstick on top)

This may just be my all-time favorite blush. Gorgeous! Perfect!

I love this cheek stain! I’ve had it for about 2 months and I use it every time I wear makeup.
PROS:
– Nice color selection
– Can be worn sheer for a natural look or can be layered for a more intense color
– Smells delicious
– Can double as a lip stain
– Natural slightly dewy finish (this could be a con for some people)
– Large amount of product
– Fun colored push pop-esque packaging with a tight sealing lid
– Stays on my face all day
CONS:
– It IS a little sticky during application and a few minutes after before it sets (but then it lasts all day)
– Pricey ~ $30 for full size, but you get a lot of product
– Lots of product means the packaging is sort of big and that might be an issue for some people
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
– Works best with no base makeup, but still looks nice with it if you do wear it
– If you do wear TM, BB cream, Foundation, or powder makeup, I recommend putting the cheek stain on before everything OR put on base makeup, then use the cheek stain, and finish with powder if that’s what you like to do
– I apply the cheek stain just by placing it on my cheek and blending the product with my fingers but it can be applied with a sponge or brush as well
I’ve had this for quite a while with everyday use on my cheeks and lips and it looks like I haven’t used any product and just bought it! So if you’re having trouble justifying the $30 price tag, I would go for it! I’m really glad I did. 🙂
