I’ve been on the hunt for a decent blush, I’m very neutral, and although, all of the other Clinique blushes turn orange on me, I thought I would check out this new formulation. While it’s definitely better than their other blushes, I still find it to be somewhat difficult to get the product on a brush, compared to say, MAC. The colors are fairly consistent with what you see in the pan, and this ended up being too blue on me, as I knew it would – but I think could work for many others. The only other color that might come close for me, was Heather, but it translated to the “Clinique Orange” on my skin. I can’t speak to how long they last, I had to wash it off fairly quickly, because I started to react to the hefty amount of shimmer, since I’m allergic. I also felt that they were a little expensive for the amount of product you get. If you’re tired of having to “use a light hand” with your blush, and like shimmer, you might give these a try. I’m not a fan.

I am absolutely in love with this blush.
I first saw this at the Clinique counter and finally ended up trying it at Sephora. The “packaging” was irresistible, and I found the color intriguing. I was worried that, because it looks SO bright in the pan, it would look clownish on me, but no. For me, the pigmentation is just perfect – not too highly pigmented, nor too little. If one wanted to stronger application, it is certainly buildable. I actually apply it with a large, flat foundation brush, taking just a light press of powder in the pan, and focusing my application to the apples of my cheeks. It gives me a lovely flush. The best word to describe it is, I think, “pretty”. It is just so pretty. My skin is rather pale, and the color is bright, but not garish, so that it looks like I just have a pretty, healthy glow. I don’t see the “sheen” other people are mentioning, but I do apply the product fairly lightly. It does not streak, and has good lasting power. As I said, it’s buildable, and easy to blend / soften down if you do over apply. I also tried the Berry Pop and liked this color much better. The other 3 colors in the collection are something you can find in any brand. This color is more unique. Try it. You’ll feel oh-so-pretty!

NW13. True Summer.
Love the design and packaging. Super cute.
This is a medium depth, bright but natural looking cool pink. It is easy to blend, and lasts a long time. The blush has a nice sheen to it, it’s not entirely matte.
