I do like Almay’s products. They’re not of the Urban Decay caliber but they are excellent for women who want a better than average drugstore product and if she has sensitive skin, this is a great line to boot.
This Almay blush in pink is a beautiful and natural looking shade that although it is pigmented, it’s not overly pigmented like Wet n Wild to where you only need a smidge or you risk looking like a circus performer. The formula is silky-smooth and looks to last about 5-7 hours.

I have fair skin, and Pink 140 looks very natural on me. Its a nice rosey colour: no mauve or brown, no fushia. It’s not shimmery or shiney either, which is super important for my oil skin. The look is very natural, sweet and soft. It gives me the same colour as if I pinched my cheeks gently. It’s very light and buildable, and it goes on easily, but its almost impossible to “over do it”. It never looks fake! The brush is also superior to most other brushes included in drugstore blushes.

Love Almay blushes! Sets a very high standard for blushes, imo. I own this blush in 140 Pink- which is a very sweet, innocent pink color (comparable to Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Dollface). This blush is very smooth for a powder product- it is not crumbly or chalky or rough. It goes on very nicely, a lot better than many blushes that I’ve tried. This blush goes on very evenly over any face products, which is a huge sigh of relief for me! It is also very buildable and consistent in its color. What I really, really love about it is that it looks natural on the face. The staying power is pretty good, and it has a very nice price tag of around $5. There is a great variety of these blushes from light to dark shades- probably will go purchase some more! Definetely recommend this product.

I got this in Pink, 75% off at the last CVS clearance and have been wearing it every day since. I’m not a big blush fan, so I can’t compare it to a zillion brands, but I can tell you it fit my needs (wants): natural pink color, no to very low shimmer, and low price. Winner! It looks great over all of my foundations, lasts a solid 8 hours without fading or changing colors, and doesn’t break me out (or break the bank, especially on clearance). Love this and would repurchase it, assuming it’s not discontinued.

This is a great blush. I have the natural one. I haven’t been using it lately because of my acne but I use it as an eyeshadow, strange I know. But when I was using it for the blush, it gave me the pefect color. Not a strange pink like I’ve gotten with some other blushes before.

I love this blush, its amazing. i have it in soft pink.
WHY DO THEY DICONTINUED THIS BLUSH, WHY????? I can´t understand almay change their lovely blushes for these new ones. I used to use Soft pink 170 and it was the most beautiful blush ever!!!! Why??? Does somebody knows a dupe for this blush?? Please??

I picked up a few shades of Almay blush for 2 reasons. First, it has Zea Mays (cornstarch), which is the best mattifier for super oily skin (like mine). Second, was because while I love a super matte foundation, I like to balance the matte look by having shimmering blushes. I think blushes with a little sparkle make you look fresh and young, but that’s just my opinion 😉 I was pleasantly surprised that Almay blushes are highly pigmented, which means I can use less blush on my face, and it will take longer to finish the entire compact. I have this in 4 shades; Natural, Mauve, Peach, and Pink..and I love them all!

A great blush indeed.
My cheek looks naturally blushed and it gives a matte healthy finish over a glowy concealer or foundation. The packaging is pretty handy although sometimes I prefer to use another kabuki brush rather than the detachable one from the blush for a neater result.

I love this; the design is so great, and only wish it came in more (bright) colors. I have coral pink, and it looks incredibly natural.
For the other reviewers I’ve seen who complain about the applicator, I would just like to say that it’s really unfortunate you don’t seem to understand how gravity works. The blush has a lower chamber filled with incredibly finely milled powder (covered with a protective plastic piece that you need to remove before first use), a super-soft magical sponge puff that screws on top of it, and a cap. When you turn it upside down, the powder falls into the puff, and it’s applied to your skin by gently tapping or bouncing the upside down container onto your face; if it’s not upside down, the inside of the puff won’t fill with powder and thus won’t apply to your skin. It’s so clever and functional, I really love it.
When I apply, I tilt my face slightly upward and gently bounce the TOTALLY UPSIDE DOWN container a few times across the top of my cheekbones for a polished, natural look. The color is build-able, and if you over-apply it just takes a few brushes of the fingertips (or a few gentle swipes of a brush) to blend out the edges. Basically, bounce-bounce-bounce and you’re done.
This is great for travel and it removes the need for a blush brush (simplifies my life). It also looks so natural, making it really good for workplace/professional makeup and everyday. If they discontinued this, I would be very depressed and would try to see if the container could be filled with another finely milled loose powder blush. I will happily buy this again and again, but I hope they broaden the color range.

I got this in Sunkissed from a set. At first i thought it was a bronzer, but then realized it’s a blush. There’s way too much shimmer for it to look normal. The pigmentation wasn’t that great either; I had to really dig into it with my brush in order to get an amount that will show up on my face. It’s priced at $7 on Ulta’s website and I guess that’s a pretty decent price. If I didn’t get this from a set, I wouldn’t buy it.

This is pretty ordinary blush. Definitely not comparable to NARS or MAC.- but when it’s on sale, you can’t beat it. I paid 4 bucks and am happy with the purchase for the price. The color goes on nicely, it blends nice but only lasts about 4 hours and then I have to reapply. It’s a little nicer than drug store quality, so if you are on a budget, I would recommend it.

These are very nice blushes. Unfortunately, the color I loved, Tender, was discontinued, so I will try some new ones. Very nicely pigmented, and they blend well. I wish they had more staying power. They don’t fade extremely quickly, but they also do not stay as long as I wish. I find that to be extremely common among blushes, though. I always buy these and the Ulta eyeshadows when they are on sale, and they are a great deal then. I never pay full price, as they go on sale quite often.

I’ve been using this in the color ‘Flushed’ – I received it in a gift with purchase. Since the day I opened the gift with purchase I’ve been using this cheek color almost daily. I love the way that I can stipple it on my cheeks and build to whatever intensity I want. The pigmentation is what I expect and in emergencies I can even use my fingers and buff it into my cheeks.
Sadly, as a result of constant use, the plastic lid has broken off. I’m too busy to babysit a broken blush compact, so I’ve turned to some other cheek colors.
I can hardly complain since my total cost for this near-constant companion was almost nil, but it makes me hesitant to purchase the full size version.
One the other hand, I’ve never had a problem with Ulta packaging before. It may not be glamorous or drool worthy, but it managed to hold the makeup for as long as I needed it to.
So be warned – buy it on sale and don’t anticipate that you’ll be able to finish it before the packaging falls apart.

Well the variety of shades and tints are great, I didn’t like the consistency of the powder. The first time I used it I ran the make up brush over it and i thought that the whole compact had come loose. Very chalky, and powdery and you have to be gentle with it or you won’t get much use out of it for long.
Other than that, I really do like the colors they come in. I have the ULTA cheek color in “afternoon delight”, its a very very light pink with a hint of coral in it.

I dont really like or use blush but my mom gave this to me so I decided I might as well try it . The color i have is called Tender and it is a deep mauve pink color . I apply it with a big fluffy blush brush and it adds nice color to my cheeks and looks surprisingly good on my fair – medium skin tone . Its pigmentation is good but not great which dosent bother me since i like a sheer flush of color but for those who like intense color , it is layerable ( if that makes any sense ) . The lasting power is nice . I could get through a whole school day without this fading ( which is about 6 hrs ) . Overall it’s a nice quality blush and I would recommend it to others.

Just hit a great sale at Ulta, and got my favorite “Flush” blush shade for $2.00! Really like this one – not real shimmery, and just a nice touch of color for a natural summery look. Goes on easily, doesn’t need a lot of blending, and lasts pretty much all day. That’s about all I need out of a blush! I have also tried Fame, although I think that one’s a little bright and not exactly my tone. Still nice quality though.

Packaging is prolly the most basic you’re going to find. No mirror. Why rated at 5? Because the PRODUCT is wonderful. My first try was Peach. For whatever reason, I never got a good look with my regular blush brushes. Product went on with a flat powdery look. It was when I switched to a kabuki that I saw a worthy wow factor. Subtle daytime shimmer without the sparkle.
Now, I have an HG product in 3 flavors : Spice, Peach, and Wine. So excited was I, I purchased a dedicated kabuki for these blushes. Inexpensive, blendable colors. Tested on a 10 hour day: Lasts All Dang Day. Love. $3usd each at Big Lots.

I have this in Natural, a warm pink/brown that is fairly light. I normally wear cool eyeshadow colors and pink blush, but I wanted something I could wear with more warm eyeshadow colors. The packaging is very simple, plain white plastic with a clear plastic lid. The texture is very nice, easy to blend but with way too much shimmer for my taste. Just applying a tiny bit of this blush leaves me looking glittery. If this was a matte blush then I would be giving it 5 out of 5. I will use up what is left in the container but I doubt I will be repurchasing.

I’ll start off by staying-You have got to try this great blush!
This is a powder blush that comes in the following shades: Natural, Spice, Peach, Pink, Mauve, and Wine.
Not the most creative names, but in the end that doesn’t matter because this is a terrific product. I purchased the pink shade even though I usually choose more peachy shades. The pink looks pinky/peach on me and has a very slight shimmer that is very complimentary. For reference- I have fair skin w/ warm undertones that is very sensitive and tends to by on the rough and dry side. Note-I’ve only seen about 3 of the colors in stores (mauve, pink, and natural), so I’m not sure what that is about.
I probably never would of tried this blush, but I found myself staring at the cashier at my local coffee shop because she had the most pretty, creamy flush to her skin. Of course I HAD to embarrassingly ask her what she was wearing. I thought it was a cream blush because it looked so velvety. Luckily, it has the same affect on my skin.
Pros:
-The website lists that it contains natural ingredients (always a plus) such as rosehips and gingo biloba.
-Great color pigment that blends in like a charm
-Never looks flaky or cakey on my dryish skin-had the best and most creamy finish of any powder blush I’ve used.
-Has great staying power even in heat and humidity
Cons:
-Slightly spendy for drugstore brand (10 or 11 bucks)
-Don’t like the narrow and rectangle design of blush. (Makes it hard to use my own fluffy brush)
Overall, I would definitely buy this again, and would be interested in trying the natural shade.
