Smashing Aperature is a peachy nude shade. Overall a nice blush but I wish it was a bit more pigmented. It’s a natural shade, you cannot overdo it… so it is really quite fool-proof. The quality is pretty good. Not as good as NARS or Shu Uemura though. Lasting power is okay and packaging is a bit boring. Just a simple black pot with clear lid on it, no mirror, nothing fancy. Very simple packaging.

However, I do not reach for this blush often. For that reason I would not repurchase it. The color is not unique enough to justify a repurchase.

I agree with everyone else – perfect peachy colour for pale skin, not sure how well it’d do on olive skin, but my pale skin is in love with it! Perfect size for your make up bag. It’s described as ‘golden peach’ on strawberrynet.com but I don’t see any ‘golden’ in it (was a bit worried it’d be shimmery). Overall love it! Bit expensive in Aus but what can I do apart from move? Heh.

I have been in search for that perfect peachy/apricot color. Luckily…I found it! 🙂 I have NARS ‘deep throat’ and i have to put several layers in order for it to show up. Unlike NARS, aperature has enough pigmentation w/o looking fake. Natural & silky smooth application. I found a winner.
