I got the ‘reformulated’ blushes at a recent show. I’ve found that the more pigmented the blush, the more patchy the formulation. Secret Admirer is SO PRETTY in the pan, but it has to really be buffed out to look beautiful. It goes on patchy but if you buff it the color smooths out. The paler colors go on gorgeous and blend out with no effort at all, but the more pigmented colors are problematic. The price point is attractive, but I’ve bought cheaper blushes without the patchiness issue so I can’t excuse it.

PLEASE DO NOT LET OCGIRL005/007/006 WHATEVER # SHE IS USING DISSEUD YOU.
This girl has it out for this brand! I have no idea why. But do your own research on this sight by anything Makeup Geek and you’ll see for yourself. I mean, hell, she has 2 separate reviews on this shade alone, just scroll down a bit!! Lmfao!!!
Now onto the review. These blushes are pretty bad ass for the price. Even Temptalia approved, and that girls love’s her some luxury makeup!!! But, hey…I do too!!!
This particular color I like using with Nars gaiety or desire as an extra popular of color.

ok bought for my niece and this was so chalky on the cheek it was patchy, the color was just off….ELF makes better blush than this according to my niece.

OH MY GOODNESS I have been looking for a light purple blush everywhere and this is just perfect! I’m NC15 and although this is purple it gives that PERFECT cool toned pink look I want once blended into the skin, Marlena understands what I’m looking for ;). This is highly pigmented, cheap (I get the pans for 9.99 and put them in a Z palette), and gorgeous.
I love Makeup Geek products as they all have great pigmentation and a great price, just as good as the “high end” brands.

This is one of my favorite blushes ever. It’s soo inexpensive but the color payoff is awesome. Yes it looks orchid purple, but shows up pink on my skin tone. Honestly, the packaging is ugly, but that’s the only real negative…and you might as well buy a Zpalette because you will want to try her other blush colors and the blush pans are cheaper without the ugly compact.

my niece got this, and I tried it…it went on blotchy and hard to blend

I was looking for a cool blue tone blush light but not a pinky pink. This is one of the newer blushes in MG line. The color is on the line of the Radiant Orchid which was the “Color of the year” It is and described as a light Orchid Purple blush. It’s buttery and goes on soft. I use a dense angled blush brush. Dab and I mean DAB this into the blush and blow tap, whatever the excess. This is HIGHLY pigmented especially for us lighter toned gals and if you don’t think “Dolly Dimples”. All of the MG’s line are that way. You need to use care because the colors are saturated and Marlena made them that way. This comes in either a plastic compact or you can just buy the pan for your z pallet. The compact is ok sturdier than a WnW case but you still need to use care because you will be de-potting the blush if you break off the lid.
Makeup Geek as a whole, shadows and blushes are as good as anything you can get at Mac IMHO. All on line ordering although they are growing and opening a new store in CA and either NY or Chicago within the next year. for $9.99 or $12.99 for the blush you are getting far more for your buck.
