This is one of the few Becca products I use. I like that it is a creamy, whipped texture blush. However, it loses the “whipped” texture after a few used and compacts down. I find that it gives a very flattering flush to the cheeks on my fair skin. I have also found applying it with a damp Beauty Blender sponge tends to help it last longer. A tip I learned long ago when I was a cosmetic SA was to NOT powder your face before using a cream blush. Apply foundation, etc., then cream blush and then set it with the powder (I use Laura Mercier).
It does have a “watermelon” smell, but nothing too annoying, unless you a very sensitive to scent in your products. Also, after prolonged use, this products begins to “flake” when you try to pick it up out of the pot, which becomes frustrating, since this is not an inexpensive product. But, since it imparts a very natural looking blush to the skin, I keep repurchasing it. The golden “glow” in the blush doesn’t show up nearly as much on the skin. A nice product, if a little overpriced.

Buyer’s remorse. I don’t know what I was thinking, but I bought this sight unseen online from Ulta. It was an impulse buy, which I usually don’t do and I’m reminded why with this. Tiny, tiny pot (like a little bigger than the size of a Stila gel eyeliner pot) and almost no color payoff. I’m fairly pale (N15) and it looked like a highlighter on me. The golden highlight shimmer is nice, but I was looking for more color and it is way too expensive for what it is. I’ll use this up as a highlighter, but definitely won’t repurchase.

To be honest, I bought this blush instantly without even looking at the price because of the candy sweet watermelon scent that reminded me of childhood candy. The texture was great too. It was squishy and soft but not like creamy. After awhile it looses its whipped texture.
This is the best product for the beachy glowy healthy look and I go for this everytime I’m doing a natural healthy glow look. It has a nice dewy finish and a natural flush but too much and you can look over done.
The only real negative is that it doesn’t last very well. After 2 hours I can hardly see it and during half the day it is gone. I expected more since it wasn’t a powder and thought it would cling on better and last longer but I was wrong. If you use a brush to apply it can cake up slightly with your foundation so it’s best to apply it with fingers which makes the packaging a hassle. I understand that it needs to be air tight but with the product on your fingers it’s a little annoying especially on the rush. I am being extremely detailed but it probably won’t bother anyone.
I won’t buy it again because it isn’t extremely cheap and it’s not amazing. I like the nice texture and the colour but I’d like to go try out a new product once I finish this because it doesn’t last very long so it doesn’t make it a holy grail

Becca is a brand whose entire philosophy is really appealing to me; natural, dewy, glowy and softly lit. If you are going for that “no makeup” makeup look, Becca is a must try brand for you. The products in the brand, as far as formulas go, are so on point for the products I have tried. The Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle in Watermelon is such an amazing, creamy and pigmented product that leaves your skin looking so fresh and beautiful, it’s insane. It blends perfectly and don’t let the “shimmer” put you off because the moonstone element just gives the perfect lit from within glow. The colour is akin to Tart Amazonian Clay Blush in True Love, and I have often layered that on top just to set the cream blush a bit. But there are a few cons.
1. This product (for a blush) is just way to small for the amount of money you pay (its $45 in Australia, $5 more than a Nars Blush). Seriously, the amount of product is miniscule. In addition the formula (although lovely) means that there is a lot of air in the product (because it is whipped). When you press your finger down on it, the air is released and you can sink your whole finger into the tiny pot and TOUCH THE BOTTOM. Even though you don’t need much the minuscule amount is just ridiculous (for reference the product is the size of a Maybelline Colour Tattoo). I was lucky enough to get this on a major discount from Strawberrynet and would never have got it unless I had the discount.
2. The smell. Its just wrong. I understand what they were doing, because it smells like fake watermelon lollies (and I am guessing the other colours have the same corresponding fruit smell) but it just is so strong that its off putting. If smells bother you, especially fake synthetic sweet smells then stand clear, because you can still smell it for awhile on your face.
So if the smell doesn’t bother you and you want to splurge on this, go ahead because it’s beautiful. But I’d spend my dollars on something where you get a bit more product (where half the jar isn’t taken up by air haha). Go for a Stila Convertible Colour (Poppy is the closest colour I think).

I am not a big BECCA fan by any stretch of the imagination, I have found that I either like or hate their products…love the Beach Tints, hate the concealers and have been less than impressed with their foundations, mostly because despite their vast color selection, I still cannot get a good match without having to mix multiple colors and I still experience bad oxidation upon dry down.
The shimmer soufflé products are different, I absolutely love these little pots. I have purchased 4-5 of these and love them all, the Watermelon/Moonstone is one of my favorites. It is a watermelon pink shade swirled with the golden shimmer of moonstone. These products are best used for a natural look with just a hint of color and highlight on the cheeks. Watermelon/Moonstone, when applied to the apples of my cheeks over tinted moisturizer, gives me a healthy glow…nothing flashy, just a healthy glow from within look. If my skin was in better shape and even in tone, I would apply this, some mascara and lip balm and be out the door in 5 minutes flat.
I also like to finish off my natural look and tap a bit of this on my lips and apply some gloss or balm. The texture is a soft, gel like mousse soufflé that blends out well when I apply with a duo-fiber brush by stippling a bit on my cheeks, starting on the apples and working towards my hairline/ears, then lightly blend to cover any stippling effects.
I really hope they come out with a line of blushes and bronzers in this soufflé formulation. Best thing is that it wears light, no caking and no clogged pores or breakouts from using this product.

I swatched these on my hand in Sephora and under those bright lights, fell in love. Unfortunately, the effect was underwhelming in natural light on my cheeks. Nothing special. I can layer my $5 NYX blushes and get the same effect.

This is my second product from Becca. First I had a Beach Tint in Fig but I wasn’t over the moon for it so I gave it to my mom. Then comes my perusing on Sephora and I see these Souffle’s from Becca. Being a blush collector I wanted to try this as it was a tint mixed with Moonstone for luminosity. At first they were all sold out so I did some research to see if this was really for me. They say it is buildable, oil free, waterproof, and has brown algae to fight redness and give a youthful glow. Well, I decided to go with the Watermelon/MoonStone because it seemed best for my NW15-20 skin tone, green eyes, blonde hair for reference.
I totally love it! When you open it, it has a slight fruity scent but you do not smell it on your skin. It comes in a very small jar for 27$ about the size of a gel liner in terms of packaging. I like the silver cap and glass bottom, but this might not be very good for travel. Seriously though you only need to touch your finger or brush to get product. It is so light and airy and it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing blush. The colour is the same as the Watermelon Beach tint, but I feel the added Moonstone just makes them look better.
It looks like a healthy,glow-ey,beautiful flush of colour. They can be made darker but it is so pigmented I don’t need to build it up too much. This will last all Summer most definitely because of the high pigmentation but they are so small. When it came I was like really?!?! But the quality is phenomenal this stuff does not budge till I wash it off. So, this will be perfect for the beach. Also it gives you colour and glow so it’s a 2 in 1 so this is very handy.
What I noticed about these were that all the shades look very similar online. So definitely check out swatches or try before you buy because some of the shades may be lacking in cool or warmth when you would think it would normally be in a certain shade. Something to watch out for. My other fav in this line is the Raspberry. I am very pleased with this and am looking forward to trying more products from this company. Recommended!
