Vibrant is one of four shades in the Limited Edition Holiday set “Sculpted Cheeks”. This is the first and only product that I’ve tried from Tarte, since the brand isn’t available in Sweden at this point (I actually got my hands on this one through a friend who’d purchased the set from the US). It’s a quite intense coral shade – it’s packing a lot of punch for being a matte blush. I find that I get the best and most pigmented application with a quite dense blush brush. It’s easy to blend, and most of all, it lasts really, really well through the day. The staying power is probably what tips you off to this being a higher end product more than anything else. While the shade is pretty, I feel like you’d be able to find a cheaper dupe without too much trouble. Probably not one with such pretty packaging and design, though. I like everything from the asymmetrical pattern on the lid to the pattern in the actual blush. At $35 (at ulta), the set of four blushes (1.5g/0.05oz) and a brush isn’t a steal, but it’s not too bad either.
Overall, I enjoy the blush and will definitely get a lot of use of it, but not to the point where I’m sad about it being limited edition.
+ Cruelty free (though parent company, Kose, isn’t)
+ Stays looking vibrant (no pun intended) all day
+ Pigmented
+ Very nice packaging
– Talc is second ingredients after Mica, which doesn’t scream luxury to me
