I saw that Debra Messing was wearing this at the Golden Globes and was intrigued. I swatched this at Sephora but was turned off by the obvious silver glitter in this. But when tarte.com had a 20% off their best sellers sale I figured I would give this a go. So far,I’m liking this. The glitter is definitely not obvious on the face. I’m hoping this will still work with my coloring when I’m slightly darker in the summer. Its a very natural color, almost a bronzer for me. For reference, I’m half asian, NC 20-25.
Edit: I don’t find myself reaching for this. I’m not sure if it was just the rose colored glasses of early days into a purchase, but in certain lights, and definitely up close, the silver glitter of this product is visible, which I really don’t like. I’m giving this to my sister!

I own all of Tarte’s Amazonian Clay blushes. There is something about this particular one I cannot stand. Its probably the huge chunks of glitter and how stiff it is in the pan compared to Exposed.
It probably my least favorite from the entire collection. I had high hopes and the obnoxious glitter killed the enthusiasm.
This one is much more brown than Exposed. Exposed has more pink in it.
If you’re not crazy about glitter, I’d skip this. If you’re like me and collects them all, go for it. I will probably never use it.

Tarte has 4 new colors for Spring 2012 in their Amazonian Clay blush line!! After seeing swatches from my favorite beauty guru – makeupandbeautyblog, I RAN not walked to Sephora to pick up Buff. While I wanted to love Exposed it pulled a little too pink on my skin, I slowly realized that it just wasn’t flattering to me. Buff on the other hand is a warmer nude shade. I think this is going to be very versatile, you could use it as bronzer, blush or contour depending on how you apply. I gotta be honest…I have never been much of a blush person. Tarte has changed me though!!! Their blushes last through the whole workday. There’s really nothing else like them!
I would like to add about the glitter… I have overcome it by tapping my brush on the counter before applying. This method gets rid of 90% of the particles and the remaining I don’t find too obnoxious, I hate glitter!!
