I really wanted to give this 4 lippies because the packing is so big for a blush product, but I just couldn’t do it! This provides the perfect healthy flush on my very neutral N22/25 skin tone, just fresh and gorgeous. Its one of those blushes that you’ll reach for regularly. Though I have quite a few MJ products, this was my first blush product by the brand, and won’t be my last..definitely recommend.

I have been a member of MUA since 2009 and this is my first review. I just wanted to say that yes, this lasts 24 hours, at least. Don’t ask me how I know 😉 Also, I’m usually only interested in cream blushes, but this one is great, doesn’t feel powdery on the skin at all. Is there such a thing as powder-to-cream? If so, MJ has achieved it. It is viciously expensive, yes, but not when you see how much you get, how densely it is packed, and how you don’t have to reapply. In the end, it is no more expensive than several other popular brands. I have worn it as an addition over cream blush as well as by itself. It works well either way.

This blush is sooo beautiful! It gives me this after-gym blushing. So, my skin looks like it’s natural healthy blushed. I also use this blush as an eye shadow, since it’s proposed by the company for draping. I really love the color!

Bought this along with “lines and last night” when marc jacobs had the 20% off sale. I can’t say enough good things about this. I’m NC20 most of the time (sometimes lighter sometimes darker) and I like my blush to look natural, almost barely there. This has a very finely milled but not powdery texture. It’s very easy to achieved that natural flush but can also be built up if you like more pigmentation. Most blushes last 5-8 hours on my skin but this one lasted a full 16 hours. I love not having to touch up on my make up half way through the day. It is a tad pricey but not when you consider the amount of product in the pan (then it’s cheaper than a lot of the popular brands like Nars). “Lines and last night” would be a good one to try if you have darker skin tone or warmer undertone. That one is almost universally flattering.

Oh my. I resisted the hype of these MJ blushes and I wish I had continued to resist the hype. I am currently NC15, and this does not show up on me at all, even concentrating on the darker side to the right side of the compact. I have tried this over various primers and foundations, and even just over a basic moisturizer. This just does not show up on me, at best very VERY SUBTLE, and then fades to nothing in less than half an hour. I have never had a blush do this. The case also gets marked up easily. The very first time I used this, I used freshly cleaned hands (I am OC about keeping hands very clean, especially when using makeup), and this case had fingerprints all over it and just looked bad. I also do not care for the little silver ‘tab’ thing and it can be a little tricky to open. I have this and his Sugar Sugar lip gloss, so far, his products do not impress me; I feel very his products are very overhyped. Truth be told, I did not think the striped design was ‘all that’ once it arrived. Hey, this obviously works for some; but for me, this one was a fail. No pigmentation to speak of, not even for my light or ‘no makeup makeup’ days. I did get no irritation, so it seems safe for sensitive skin. And I did not detect a scent, which I appreciate. But I just cannot get this to show up on my pale cheeks, no matter what tips and tricks or other makeup pairings I try.. *shrug*

This is a gorgeous blush! It has strips of highlighter alternating with strips of blush, and it gives such a beautiful glowing effect to the cheeks. The highlighter is very soft, there’s no glitter and it just sort of adds a very flattering luminous effect. The blush colour is a very natural rosy shade on me (NC15), and with the highlighter mixed in just makes my skin look so fresh and healthy. I will likely pick up a different colour for when I’m tan in the summer, I love the added touch the highlighter gives! The only issue I have with it is the price…it’s $57 CAD, which I find insane for a blush. I had a gift card though, I don’t think I would’ve even bought it otherwise.

At first I didn’t want to fall for the hype, but now that I have this MJ blush in my collection – I must say it is a real gem.
For starters, this is a very buildable and user-friendly blush. Even if you tend to be quite heavy-handed with your powders, you are less likely to overdo it. The texture is quite smooth and can be layered in case you want it to look stronger or subtler. Kinks & Kisses in particular is the best shade in this collection (I think it is the most versatile) and you can read more about application tips & trick on my blog ( ). Overall I am very satisfied with this discovery; this is a very goof-proof product and the effect you get is very soft and natural. Easy to blend, long-lasting. What else can a girl desire?

Air Blush is a compact of alternating strips of colour of the same tone (intense matte and light shimmer) which are lighter on the left side and get more intense and broader to the right. This is just not just a cute gimmick but provides a range of application possibilities. At first I just swiped my brush around the whole thing which is a look if you want that mash up. I preferred swiping the left side subtler shades on first and then going to the most intense shade for the “apples” – beautiful look. Kinks and Kisses is a soft coral pink, somewhat like Nars Orgasm but anchored with a little bit more red undertone, not as bright and with less shimmer. I wear Orgasm very well since I have a neutral/fair complexion but this product differs in that it is so very natural looking – a real out-in-the-country flush. The texture is also one of the finest I have come across hence the name Air Blush.
UPDATE: I had to knock this down because it oxidized very badly and turned a tan colour.
