This blush is cute af. I used to use NARS blushes exclusively, until they started making me break out on my cheeks. Like bad, cystic acne that would take ages to heal. I didn’t know what ingredient was responsible and was afraid of powder blushes for a while – gel or liquid blushes seemed fine. I thought maybe the problem was the talc, so when I saw the UD Afterglow blushes were talc-free, I went for it.
So first of all, no breakouts at all since I started using this blush on the daily a few months ago. Second of all, this cool pink shade is extremely cute. I am pretty pale (maybe NC15) with yellow undertones. Often pink shades that look really fluorescent in the packaging look really natural and flattering on me for some reason, and this one is no exception. It’s that perfect flush that you’d get coming in after a day of skiing.
Compared with the NARS blushes, the UD seems a little less pigmented but to be quite frank, NARS blushes were almost too pigmented and too easy to over apply. The UD blush you still get a great pop of color, but you have a bit more control over the intensity.

I am basically obsessed with the shade obsessed!
I’m NC20 with strong yellow undertones. My problem with all my pink blushes is that they turn brown or peachy on my skin and they never look pink. Well, that’s not the case with this particular shade!
The shade obsessed is a baby pink with strong blue undertones. It looks very intimidating in the pan but on my light yellow toned skin it doesn’t look as blue toned. It looks like as a light baby pink, very natural. It is almost identical to the color I get on my cheeks when I naturally blush.
For example, I have tried a blue toned pink from Mac (peony petal) and it looked peachy on me. I also bought Downboy from The Balm and the same thing happened to me. This Urban Decay blush is the only one that doesn’t do that.
It has a matte finish and doesn’t last long on my oily skin ( 3-4 hours), doesn’t clog my pores or cause me any irritation.
This blush comes with no mirror so I depotted it…yeah, I wouldn’t recommend that because you always end up ruining a bit the actual product! Anyway, not the smartest decision! I have this blush now for a year I use it constantly and I would highly recommend this shade!

Great texture, easily buildable, not too pigmented. Gives very natural colour and lasts exactly 8 hours before a touch up is required.

This is a classic cool toned bright bubble gum pink, like NARS gaiety. The formula is great. Long lasting, pigmented, soft, buildable. It’s completely matte but not dry. This blush sheers out to a great in from the cold flush. I debated between all the shades in this category and went with this one because I hate NARS packaging and I don’t like the ELF blushes. The packaging is pretty cool. I wish there were other shades in this line I’m interested in because the formula and packaging are both great.
