I buy 4 blushes in this line, Rosewood including. I love every single one or them. Silky, smooth, pigmented, pretty and last all day. Amazingly affordable too. Such a gem!

Annabelle appears to have changed the name of these blushes to “Perfect Blush,” but I believe they still offer the same shades and high quality product. I recently repurchased Rosewood, and love this blush. It is heavily pigmented, so you have to use a light hand when applying. It’s a matte, brownish/reddish/mauve shade that gives you that outdoorsy, wind-chapped look … a healthy, tawny glow. I have light/medium skin with freckles, and this colour is very close to my natural, reddish flush. Despite its matte texture, it applies smoothly, without patchiness when I use a good blush brush. It doesn’t emphasize my wonderful laugh lines that have developed with time. Unfortunately, when they changed the name, they also changed the packaging, and it doesn’t seem as sturdy to me, so I deducted one lippie for that. Time will tell if the new packaging holds up.
All in all, a high quality blush for the money (about $5 Canadian). I would definitely repurchase Annabelle blushes.

Love this blush in Rosewood #18 for summer! It gives such a natural sunkissed glow, doesn’t streak, cake or dry. I usually use Chestnut #48 (18 & 48 are very similar; in,fact it is very hard to tell the difference when looking at these two shades in the packaging); however, Chestnut #48 was sold out so I opted for #18 and I am glad I did– for reference my skintone is medium with pink undertones. Rosweood is also well pigmented and gives a really pretty finish without looking artificial, goes really well with a tan . In the fall/winter, I plan to use Chestnut again, it is slightly more pigmented, a tad darker but somehow on my paler skin in the fall & winter months, this shade imparts a healthy glow and has a tad more shimmer (not too much though). All in all, I am really impressed with Annabelle blushes, the quality is amazing: the blush lasts for a really long time, doesn’t cake, a little goes a very long way. looks natural, well pigmented, does not cause breakouts, and does not oxidize (turn orange). Great drugstore gem!

I was looking for a red blush that will look natural on my pale skin. Wow this blush lasts the whole day, from when you put it on until you wash it off. It was only $5 at Walmart so you can’t really go wrong. It is very pigmented so you only need to pick up a bit when applying and it’s matte which is good for those of us who don’t like shimmer. It is the perfect “my cheeks are naturally blushed” blush. Get it, you won’t regret it!

As a male I need loose powder to remove shine from my sunscreen, and blush and bronzer to add back some natural color on my face. I use blush more as a highlight for a gentle sunburn effect. This has been great applied with the RT Contour Brush. Though I do have to add a light rosy peach blush as a contour for a smoother transition between this and my neutral brown bronzer. Apparently they work well together since even the SA at the NARS counter couldn’t really tell.
It comes in a mini MAC blush container. Made in Canada, 3g of product with a hard texture and no fallout. The compact is light and sturdy and thankfully you won’t find a small useless brush. It costs only $5 at Walmart.
The shades are numbered but you can see the names on the display. Because it is so pigmented, you really need to start building slowly. It is a medium-deep rose with brown which is a little tawny as well. It reminds me of Rose Bloom by Laura Mercier. For the best application you might need to experiment with different brushes but it is worthwhile especially if you are searching for a matte blush or simply want something pigmented.
