Purchased the light brown shade as I am blond with grey (highlighted), yet it was too reddish to me on my (reddish) skin, and my hair so I’ve since ordered the blond shade. That said, I have since used this one (light brown) as an eyeliner and it is really good (and I only paid $3.00 for it!) as it blends well and has amazing staying power as an eyeliner!! It turns to a soft powder look and does not look harsh nor does it skip; an important quality especially if you are a senior with old eyelids! It can clump up on application, but if you quickly use a spoolie brush you can fix this. If you bought this, and the color is not right for your eyebrows don’t toss it out (yet, ) but try it as an eyeliner as it may be a good one for you. Best!

I purchased the ELF brow cream on the same day with another brow products. The other brand comes in a glass jar with 0.09oz product while ELF comes in a plastic jar with 0.19oz of product.
The ELF medium brown goes well with my pale skin and brunet (dark brown with light brown) hair. I purchased medium brown basing on some online reviews. If I didn’t read the review, I would have picked a different color which could not have worked as well. The cream is easy to put on, stays all day until removed with an eye makeup remover. With another brand, the brush sometimes pick up small chunks. I had to swipe the other brand on tissue before painting on brows. With a clean brush, there is usually no need to do that with ELF. It’s creamy and easy to use.
Comparing ELF lock on cream and the old ELF brow kit which I loved, the ELF lock on cream is more convenient. The old kit requires wax and powder.
During the past, I purchased some eye color in pots and they tend to dry up very soon. So for the brow color, I got these two brands on the same day, rotate them each day. In N California dry weather, the other brand dried up in six month and had to be discarded in a year. The ELF outlasted the other brand of brow color by 400%. I wish I know how to upload pictures because I kept both pots and the difference after a year (or two) is night and day). I do feel the ELF is not as creamy as first purchased two years ago, so it is a bit dried up but not much. I just purchased a new pot and will use the old pot in my travel bag in place of the brow pencil.
Overall, I am very pleased with the ELF lock on brow cream. It is easy to use. It stays on. It looks nice. It lasts a long time in the pot. I rarely use the same product for over two years. But this just works for me.

I purchased this in Medium Brown. It works well with my dark, almost black hair. I prefer my brows to be a bit lighter. This is my favorite pomade. It’s super affordable and easier to use than most other pomades. I’ve had mine for over 6 months and it’s still creamy, not even remotely dry. I use this when I want a more Instagram brow look. I haven’t mastered the natural brow with this product. This formula is very long lasting and I would say probably water proof.
Pros:
Super affordable.
Creamy and easy to use.
Decent shades.
Easily available.
Long lasting/water proof wear.
Long shelf life.
Cons:
None! Well maybe that it’s a little hard to get natural brows with this product.

Cheap plastic packaging but I imagine this is how the costs are kept low. The product inside is not too creamy, not too stiff, it’s a good texture with lasting power I wasn’t really expecting. It is not as deeply pigmented as say… Anastasia’s Dipbrow pomade but then it’s also a little more forgiving if you aren’t a pro at the art of using brow pomades. I purchased the shade Medium Brown, which actually works well on my dark brown hair. It looks lighter in the pot than how it applies. The first two times I tried to purchase this, it wasn’t packaged well, the lids were not screwed on tightly and when I opened them the product was dried with a very large crack in it. Third time was a charm though. Considering this was only a few dollars it won’t bother me so much if it begins to dry out after a period of time but right now it’s in great condition and I’ve had it for a couple of months already. I like having the option of pomades, pencils, powders and gels and frequently alternate them or use in combination with each other depending on my mood or needs at the time. This is worth a try, especially if you aren’t ready to commit to ABH which is most definitely a superior product, I wouldn’t discount e.l.f just yet.

I love this. I saw it at a local store, didn’t buy it, spent all night thinking about it, so went back and got it the next day. I got the last one!
Mine is in light brown, and it’s plenty dark enough. I have longish, dark eyebrow hairs that have some patches from scars. I don’t like a really intense or dark eyebrow, and this is great. You only need the very teeny-tiniest amount on your brush (I use a wee precision eyeliner brush), so I’m pretty sure this one pot will last years.
The lid on mine doesn’t close straight, which annoys me aesthetically, but it still seems pretty sealed, so it’s not a huge thing. The pot itself is perfect. Robust, with plenty of product, easy to open.
Also, e.l.f is cruelty-free, which is fantastic.

This product is really good for the price – it’s creamy, pigmented, and affordable. I’ve only used it a few times, so I can’t say much about whether it dries out fast but overall on application it’s good and fairly long wearing. I am in the shade ‘Medium Brown’ and I have dark brown hair naturally (my roots are dark brown but the rest of my hair is dyed). Overall a great product, you can’t complain for the price. Packaging isn’t the most exquisite, but it’s literally £5 so packaging isn’t my main concern, but the actual product itself is. However, I would not repurchase this as I’ve got ABH Dipbrow and use that more often and just bought this as I’m going abroad and going to lose my dipbrow, so I just wanted to purchase a drugstore alternative which wouldn’t really matter if I lost it, but if I were on a budget and couldn’t buy dipbrow due to financial reasons, I would repurchase this and use it whenever I wear makeup.

I really like this product!!!! I believe I got this in medium brown? it’s the middle shade. It does go on a lot darker than in the pot which I don’t mind since you just need a little bit of product. Having said that though, I think i’ll go back and purchase the lighter shade for days where I don’t want such a bold look.
This brow cream lasts all day on me. I had it on for over 10hrs and at the end of the day it still looked as if i just applied it.
The medium brown is a nice cool toned brown. Very similar to the MAC concrete e/s i was using before this. I don’t find this product too “crispy” since I always use a spoolie / brow brush to comb through once it’s dry and that gives it a more natural looking finish.
I haven’t tried this as an eyeliner yet but I’m super excited to try next time!
Cost is $6 CAD and I most definitely will be buying more! I

This product has a learning curve. Although I purchased the Light Brown shade, it is actually more dark brown upon application. I found that dabbing a small amount on with a Q-tip and using the clean end to remove excess works best. Also, following this with some spoolie brushing helps. The product is bold and requires care not to look too artificial. The Pros: $1 and it stays on until you remove it. It works much better as a liner under the eye than it does on the brows.

I’m not fully on board with crisp brows, and this is definitely what that’s for. I much prefer and fluffy, kind of messy brow, and this isn’t the product for that. It is very creamy and pigmented, easy to draw precise lines, but to drawers natural hairs with this isn’t a possibility, it just smudges to easily. If you have the time to let it set down and like crisp and clean brows, it’s a wonderful product. If not, then give it a pass

I found this brow cream at TJ Maxx for two dollars and thought I’d try it out. I’m constantly on the quest to find a good product for my brows because I have yet to find one that works just right for me.
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. First, I am so glad I went with light brown. I have ashy-medium brown brows in color- no red tones. I was trying to decide between light and medium brown. Light brown was the perfect color and surprisingly dark! It was perfect.
I was able to fill in and shape my brows, and they looked the best they’ve looked in a while! I used a Sonia Kashuk angled brow brush and just a little bit of product. It lasted all day!
The color options aren’t very diverse, but if you match the shades they have, it works great!
