Wow! This was the worst impulse buy I ever made! So glad it was just Almay so the price was right but this stuff is very, very bad! It looked so cool -you brush on this goop, leave it on your eyebrows for 30 minutes and thank heavens I took it off before the full 30 minutes because I have a feeling it would have taken all my eyebrows off with it if I hadn’t started peeling it off after about 10 minutes. It was difficult to remove – I finally used oil-based makeup remover – and it did pull out a number of my own eyebrows – which are sparse to begin with and why I was shopping for something new in eyebrows before I can go back for more microblading – the amount I’ve spent on fillers and styler and shapers probably makes the microblading worth it in the long run anyway. I can’t believe this product made it past initial testing – and I do not have sensitive skin at all but my eyebrow area was red for hours after having to scrub this stuff off – and none of the color even stayed on which was the whole point anyway.

Ugh. Nope, nope, nope. Formula is thin and wet, the shade is a neutral mid-brown without red or gold overtones, the barrel is super skinny (like a mascara for lower eyelashes). I thought it would give me more control over the application, since my eyebrows are nearly invisible (dark blonde and not very thick) and there isn’t room for mistakes, but the formula clings to the hairs without touching my skin underneath. The overall effect is not much different from where I started: I need the smudge to fill in where the hairs are sparse. Takes a long time to dry and it’s a smudge risk. Used a couple of time and discarded. Back to Anastasia.
