This is great and if you can purchase when CVS has a sale or coupon even better. Last all day and works as good a s more expensive brands like Anastasia which I also use. They need a warmer lighter color as the lighter colors are all neutral and don’t work well when my brows are lightened to match my honey blonde hair color.

Joah’s Brow Down to Me Brow Pencil & Gel is a triangular retractable pencil with a fairly fine point, as well as a small “browscara” gel product on the other end with a spoolie/wand (like a brow mascara). I got the shade “black brown” and it is just fine (if tiniest bit dark) for my Asian features (need ashy shades for brows). I actually just try to use it sparingly and with light pressure because it can be slightly too dark/bold for me. I bought it because I thought it would be very versatile to have a triangle-shaped point because you can concentrate on the fine tip if you need, but also have the wider/longer part for more coverage. (I am learning that the fine tip is mainly what I want to use, so in the future, I’ll probably stick with my favorite micro pencils. Just note that since I mostly want to use the fine point tip, that part of the pencil wears down more, making it more difficult to continue just using that part of the product; I have to use up the sides of the triangle too and wear them down so the fine tip can be used.
It comes with .007 oz of pencil on one end, which is over double the amounts provided in L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer (my favorite) and over triple the Maybelline Brow Precise Brow Pencil. It also comes on the other end with .118 oz of the browscara, and it works just like a gel mascara with a wand/spoolie that you twist out of the tube (except it’s for your brows).
I can use the browscara with a stiff/slant-tip eyeliner brush to carve out brows or, even better, shade in sparse brow areas for a pretty natural look. It lasts on my oily skin pretty well! You can also use it to color/coat any clear brow hairs. For me, it is easier to use the browscara by lifting a tiny bit off the spoolie/wand with my slant-tip brush because it allows me to be more precise and apply a lot less than what’s on the spoolie/wand. This browscara is really great to have, even if I personally don’t set my brows with gel every day as part of my brow routine.
Overall, I have been using this product (mostly the pencil part) for over 2 months and I haven’t made a dent in it; it might last over a year.
The packaging is far cuter/nicer than you’d expect for drugstore; it is reminiscent a bit of Too Faced’s pretty packaging, although not as juvenile as Too Faced’s. I learned from Zabrena on Youtube that the “Joah” brand is KBeauty-inspired and that the word means “I like it” in Korean. I think it’s pronounced “Joe-Ah.”
