This is one of those products that I never expected to like in a million years…and yet have repurchased twice.
I was initially attracted to it because of the awesome physical ss factor – spf 30 with no chemical sunscreen components is almost impossible to find. However, once I got it I was instantly skeptical – the lightest color looked way too dark for me and I was sure it was going to be too heavy and gross feeling. However, I am very happy to report that I was very very wrong!
The color looks shockingly orange. Sheered out, it blends perfectly with my skin, which is usually somewhere in between NW15-17. It neutralizes some redness and covers really nicely without feeling heavy or sticky at all.
It took a lot of playing with it to find my perfect application method, though, so I took off a lippie. Straight out of the pan it’s extremely opaque and the sponge it comes with is not my favorite, but I found that the best way to apply it for me is to pat it on with the sponge and then sheer it out with a clean Beautyblender. I can see how you could get some serious coverage with this but that’s not really what I was looking for in this product. It was impossible with a brush for me; I didn’t really like it until I gave up on the brush after my first few tries.
Lasts all day and doesn’t dry me out despite the zinc. It doesn’t give the same crazy airbrushed finish as the tube version but this is a little more believable for everyday wear.

I found this product at TJ Maxx for $12.99. I quickly googled it and saw it at Sephora for $42! I purchased two of them in luminous. I have very fair skin (combo/dry). I use a foundation brush to apply to my face, starting at my nose and working outward. I then use the sponge that came with the product to blend it. So far I like it. I REALLY like it for the price I paid. I would not repurchase at $42! There are other products better out there, in that price range. I DO like the SPF in it, and I like the texture. It is very natural looking on me. I think that I was very lucky in the shade being a good one for my skin-tone. If I feel like it, I will follow up with Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow sheer powder (N 20). I usually don’t though. I do not allow this to replace my normal skin care regime. I use this on top of all of that. So far, so good!

I love the perfekt without spf, so I knew I had to try this when I saw it in sephora. Zinc based sunscreen, no oxy or avobenzone.
This is a very thick cream, which is good if you are relying on this alone for sun protection. It would also make this hideously, outrageously expensive. I appreciate the mirror but I really would prefer this in a pump or squeeze tube. As it is, I scoop out a tiny amount with a clean finger and apply it over my usual spf moisturizer. My only issue is the same as with the regular, which is that radiant can be a tad dark for me sometimes, and sometimes looks orangey when first applied…..but it always looks fine after a few minutes. Almost as if it needs to oxidize to get rid of the orange….opposite of many makeups.
The finish is a beautiful, soft focus matte with light diffusion and some coverage. I feel the coverage is adequate to cover occasional blemishes and imperfections, but many may find it too sheer.
Update: I am not even sure I’ll finish this….the finish it gives is ok, but compared to the regular perfekt it falls flat…it’s nice in outside/natural lighting, but looks orangey at times in indoor lighting, It’s not horrible, but it’s short if what id expect or the price.

I was looking for a foundation to meet three criterion: 1, Camouflage redness. 2, Control shine. 3, Be quick, easy & convenient. I was pleasently surprise this CC cream compact hit on all three — all while providing more coverage than I was expecting & SPF protection. I love the natural matte finish that isn’t drying at all. I also really love the sponge that comes with the product, the shield that separates the sponge & product, and the large mirror.
There are only four shades, which can be a downside, but Radiant was a pretty spot-on color match for me. The only major con for me was that it’s not photo-friendly, I did get that dreaded ghost face with flash photography 🙁 However, I will absolutely still wear this foundation for occasions when I need a little more coverage (it is buildable) or want fuller coverage on the go with minimal products/fuss but don’t need to be photo-ready.

I have tried using different foundations and BB Creams countless of times, but this CC Creme is the best face product I’ve ever come across!
It lasts all day, doesn’t look cake-y, and the color match was great! I have it in Rich. It doesn’t have a distinct scent, which is good. I use a foundation brush to apply it; it isn’t streak-y and goes on evenly.
It takes me only about 5 minutes to put it on/blend it out, and it doesn’t make my face “greasy” by the end of the day like other foundations do.
The price is a little high, but I would be willing to purchase it again just because it is such a good quality product! There weren’t very many reviews for this when I bought it, so I hope this helps others to buy it as well!
