Best tinted skin thing, I have ever used. It has incredibly clean formula, no silicones, no alcohol, no talc, and has zinc oxide sun protection. Unlike other organic tinted products, this delivers good medium coverage on blackheads and redness. On face, it does not look cakey or stting on wrinkles/pores. It is slightly mattifying, so great for oil control too. I find it perfect, I hope nobody would reformulate it.

This is a nice bb cream, but it should definitely come in more colors! I am very fair so it was a bit of a stretch to match this to my skin, but I just used a little to give myself a bit of a base. This is a little tan for me, but with enough blending and lighter powder, I can even things out. I like the ingredients listed and how the sun protection is all physical blockers. The texture of this cream is very mousse-y, so it blends in nicely without streaking or looking obvious. I would not say that this is a radiant bb cream, because I certainly do not feel like it makes my skin glow, but it is not flat and matte, which can be a plus. The pump in the packaging is slow to work sometimes, and I think the plastic packaging is a bit cheap considering the $38 price tag. I would not repurchase this product only because of the color options.

This product is not bad, if it matches your skin tone and you don’t have a lot of scars or blemishes to cover up I would definitely recommend it. I’ll give the pros and cons that I found with this product.
PROS:
-No sulfates or parabens! The ingredients are all things that you can understand, no really scary sounding chemicals which is nice. I know sulfates are really bad for your skin they create like this film over your skin and your skin can’t breath so it’s nice to find a product that doesn’t contain sulfates
-Looks very natural and feels light
-Light-medium coverage
-Doesn’t sink into pores or make me break out –and I tend to break out easily from products
-Lasts quite a while, I use it daily and I bought it in the beginning of february, I’ve been using it for exactly 3 months and I have about half the product left.
-It lasts very well through sweating. I wear it to the gym every day, I sweat and when I leave it still looks perfect, other products get this really gross cakey kind of look when you sweat, this one looks perfect after you sweat which is amazing!
CONS:
-The color.. is kind of pinkish. I wish they had a color with more yellowy/neutral undertones I guess. But if you have pink undertones then this would be perfect. Plus it really is a nice product I don’t think its fair that only a very select few skin tones can wear this. It really sucks.
-It’s a little shiny. Not too bad, I wouldn’t say it makes you really oily looking but if you prefer a more matte look this definitely isn’t that. If you set it with a powder its okay though.
-THE BOTTLE. God dammit. It won’t come out!! When you’re in a rush this bottle gives the the HARDEST time ever!! To get product to come out you need to put it down on a table and place your palm on top of the pump and press over and over as quickly as you possibly can, then the bottle makes a hiccuping sound and it starts to come out again. It’s just super annoying. But I think that they may have changed the packaging, because I purchased a ren moisturizer that had the same kind of packaging and was also difficult to pump out, and I recently repurchased and it was in a new bottle which actually dispenses the prodcut. So they might have changed the bottle on this one too.
So in the end, If they changed the packaging I might repurchase. One main problem for me is that I live in Canada and they don’t stock the ren bb cream anywhere here. At least not that I know of, when i look for it in stores near me on sephora’s website they only show it in buffalo, so I either need to go there or order online which kind of sucks. Main problems are the bottle, and the pinky color. Definitely has a nice natural look and if it matches your skin tone i’d definitely recommend. I’m gonna finish the bottle. But I probably wouldn’t repurchase unless they made more colors. Really disappointed cause its so amazing other than the color 🙁

I love the ingredients and smell, but it doesn’t have quite enough coverage for me. The way it smells truly is fantastic–kind of floral.

Not a bad product but I wouldn’t purchase it, at least for winter. It’s better than other BB creams in the same price range (eg Erborian, which I find quite nasty) and far better than high street brands like Garnier in that it blends in nicely and “stays on” all day but I don’t like it on its own so since I still have to use a moisturiser underneath I stick to my bare minerals for a touch of colour. Perhaps I’ll give it another go during the warmer months.

The coverage of this BB cream is light but still good enough to even out my skin tone and cover up the pores around my nose. It feels great on my skin – lightweight and not too drying (I apply moisturizer first, though). I would say that this BB cream has a yellow undertone that leans closer to the neutral side. Also the color has never oxidized on me! I wish Ren would fix the packaging on this though. The pump is so inconsistent. Sometimes product will come out at the first pump but, more often than not, it takes several pumps for any product to come out. I love the product so I shall just deal!

I have medium acne prone skin with some hyperpigmentation (due to acne breakouts). Since I have started using this product there has been a significant improvement on my skin- though I have also been using Skin Clinics acne products as well as Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus. I cannot tell which of the products made the biggest improvement but I can claim that REN’s BB cannot do any harm: it is light, has no bad chemicals in it, and due to the packaging it is quite hygiene. It is light and non greasy (if you have a dry skin this is not the product for you, you will need extra moisturizer), have a slight scent (which is fine) and after the first application you see an improvement on your skin tone. It has a light coverage, but since I started using this product I did not consider buying a foundation again. Mind you I have been using foundation (medium to full coverage) more than 20 years! The reason is simple: I am ok with the way my skin looks now. If I need a better coverage I use a concealer, but this product doesn’t break me out, for that reason I do not have new acne scars, and my hyperpigmentation is fading. I will be patient and continue to use it because I feel like I am doing a favour to my skin by applying Ren BB: I am protecting it from sun damage (SPF 15), it has no bad chemicals, I can feel my skin is breathing, my pores look smaller, but more importantly I have no acne anymore.
One note: I did not apply this BB cream for a week and my acne came back again. It is hard to tell what caused it, but by the time I started applying again my skin was back on track.
I sometimes get tempted to try other BB creams out of curiosity but I will stick with my current skin care regime as it is the only system that treated my acne since my teenage years! I also started using REN Glycolic products (resurfacing serum and the mask) and my skin started to glow.

I’ve definitely had a love/hate/love relationship with this BB cream since purchasing it a couple of months ago. First I loved it for the dewy, natural finish it gave to my face. Then I hated it because I started to break out all over my face and could only think it was this that was causing the problem, which annoyed me as I’d paid 26.00GBP for it and at that point had only been using it for about 2 weeks. Then I loved it again because I realised the only reason it was breaking me out was ’cause I was using it more like a foundation – putting mattifying base on first, followed by a setting spray – when all I really needed was this on its own.
At the time of writing this I’m very much back in the ‘love’ camp for this BB cream, especially now I’ve worked out how to use it. The things I love most about it are the natural look it gives my skin, the fact it’s free of sillicones and other nasties, that it has SPF 15 in it and that it leaves my skin feeling super soft! It also lasts all day and works well when applying other makeup products on top of it.
However, there is one downside to this (and the reason for my 4/5 mark) – it has a very distinct scent which I’m not a fan of. If you’ve ever used or smelt REN’s Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask you’ll know what I’m talking about. It smells like oranges – but not the strong, zingy citrus scent you’d expect – it’s more washed-out, week old oranges instead. It’s not going to be to everyone’s taste but thankfully it doesn’t linger once you’ve applied it, so it certainly wouldn’t put me off repurchasing. Oh, and the pump action bottle works brilliantly too!
