Pros: no chemical sunscreen, waterproof for 80 min. broad spectrum, I’m not allergic to it.
Cons: no coverage at all though it says bb cream, expensive. Radiant shiny finish ( could be a pro or con, to me it’s a con).

Didn’t really do much except make my skin oily

I read the other reviews and am a bit perplexed except the one about the silicone –which does not bother me as it makes the skin appear clearer.and is in many high end primes. I am Korean-Brazilian mix and I purchased the Golden. I did my Korean 10 step cleansing process process. Then, I placed a small dots of the product on my forehead, cheeks, chin etc. I then used a flat brush and patted it on—AMAZING–dried to perfection and the color match was perfect also. This will be my go to all summer as it has a SPF 30 Broad spectrum–PERFECTION

The light medium is a great color for my NC20 skin tone. This BB cream though is very sheer and it leaves me with a very sheer sunscreen look. If you tried the Exuviance tinted sunscreen that’s what this is like in coverage. It works ok to diffuse redness and darkness but that doesn’t last long.
The scent of this is citronella candles. If you like that smell you’ll be in heaven. And bonus: No mosquitoes!

For like the hundredth time, I haven’t been able to post a review on Sephora.com (despite being a Rouge member), so am grateful that MUA allows honest reviews.
Pros: 70% organic ingredients (although many of Coola sunblock products are not environmentally friendly or reef-safe) and great smell.
Cons: Wow–this product made my skin break out! I’m in my mid-40s and rarely ever break out, but I had a strong allergic reaction to this product. Maybe the scent? My skin isn’t particularly sensitive, so I’m surprised I had this reaction. At $52, this is also an incredibly expensive BB. I usually only use BBs in the summer, so not worth it for me. It’s also in a glass bottle (both a pro and a con). I wanted this BB for travel, so glass packaging won’t work for me. Returned this and purchased Dr. Jart+ BB. It contains more toxic ingredients, but it’s tried and a true.

Needing a new SPF-containing product, and needing to start using a light coverage base, I tried this product as a sample from Sephora. I missed the fact it contained silicones (it was down the ingredient list further than such chemicals typically are). Sure enough, it caused me to break out. On top of that, I couldn’t find a good color match for my light skin tone, and it didn’t blend easily. This was not a winner for me (and I’m not heartbroken about that, as it cost $52, more than I’m happy to spend for such a product).

I usually have a love or hate relationship with most products from Coola. I’m kind of torn on their Rosilliance Organic Beauty Balm with SPF 30. This comes in three shades, light/medium, golden, and medium/dark. I have went through a few samples of their light/medium and while it adds moisture the tint isn’t enough to really qualify as a beauty balm, unless you prefer very light coverage. What I do like about the tint is that it cancels out any of the normal white cast that you can get from mineral sunscreen ingredients. This does have quite a few fragrance ingredients and has a floral or rose scent but it eventually does dissipate. This does feel quite moisturizing which is nice, and this does work well under foundation and doesn’t pill. I don’t recommend applying this with a brush because it is difficult to get a good liberal application of the sunblock when you use a brush to apply (unless you are layering this underneath a foundation that has spf in it as well). I prefer Coola’s Mineral Face Matte Tint BB to this because this works well under makeup and has an SPF 30 but is totally fragrance free. My video review can be seen here: I
