I got this as a sample and I never bought the product. This doesn’t moisturize my skin at all and it actually dries it even more.

I have used this product for several years now, as have both my sisters, but I am not surprised to see the widely varying ratings. This product would only work for a narrow range of people with normal to dry and quite pale skin, and even then is not HG for me.
Pros:
-one of the few BBs that comes in a shade that is actually light enough for me. The “light to medium” shade works fantastically on my nc15 skin.
-actually feels hydrating and even somewhat nourishing on dry skin
-doesn’t magnify fine lines, pores or dry patches
-does an AMAZING job of evening out skin tones without feeling heavy. This is why I keep coming back to it again and again, despite the significant con listed below. I am not sure exactly what it is in this formula, but it makes my skin look brighter and so, so much better without heavy coverage. I am early 40s and have broken capillaries, redness, sun damage, hormonal breakouts- basically a smorgasbord of uneven textures and colours to contend with, and this product has an amazing ability to diffuse, smooth and erase while still looking fresh and like real skin. The closest product with a similar effect that I have found is the MUFE HD foundation, but that one has it own cons for me (slighty drying and pore clogging, can magnify my pores if not applied so very carefully) and I can’t decide which of the two is better.
-can be applied quite quickly and carelessly with fingers like a lotion and still give a good effect. (although best results for me are with a Real Techniques expert face brush)
-doesn’t clog pores or break me out
-skin looks so luminous and pretty
Cons:
-transfer…oh for the love of pete, the transfer. No matter what you set it with or use under it, it will transfer. Onto phones, collars, your SO’s shoulder, your SO’s skin…there were times my SO was wearing more of this than I was…and heaven forbid you should touch your own face…ever…during the whole day. It just never really seems to set up.
-can be slidey especially in the summer. Requires strategic use of base products and finishing powders (best combo I found was Benefits’s Porefessional primer under and Vichy Dermablend setting powder or Laura Mercier loose translucent sparingly on top). The good news is, since it never, ever sets, if it does slide into creases or around glasses you can easily and seamlessly re-blend.
-will be cake city with the wrong powder or too much
So for me, the aesthetics of this one are sooooo beautiful as far as the coverage and lovely, luminous finish, that I keep coming back to it despite the drawbacks, while I slowly hunt for my HG. I would only recommend for dry, mature fairer skin if you live in a cooler climate.
EDIT: Either I ended up with a mislabeled bottle or they have changed the shade. It was so noticeable I squeezed out the dregs of my old tube to compare, and the new bottle is both pinker and darker. It isn’t unwearable for me since it goes on sheer, but it is not nearly as good a match- more towards nw 20-25 now, but definitely still labeled as “light-medium”. Sigh.

Terrible product. I have been using this for about a month, and I now agree with fellow reviewers. It transfers so easily, and does not last at all, literally comes right on if you even graze your face with even a finger and doesn’t dry down at all. It also looks very greasy on. The spf 20 is not high enough in the summer months. This product is completely useless in all it’s said benefits. I will only use this for emergencies, and I do not recommend.Companies put out crappy products on purpose so you spend more money buying better crappy products.

You would expect a lot better for such an expensive product from an expensive brand. This product did not seem to match my skin tone very well, as the product had a very pinkish tint and my skin does not. But I will base my judgement on other aspects of the product, as I guess it was my fault for choosing a bad color to match my skin. The product finds ways to cling to dry patches that I never knew I had. THere is a greyish tint when you first apply the product, although it subsides somewhat as you wear it. Altogether not a superbad product, but NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Miaswell buy a drugstore brand for 1/3 of the price that will work better anyways. Definetly regretting buying this product. Don’t waste your money

it’s too matt that makes my face look dull, it’s for those have oily skin not for dry skin

I like this product. It’s my favourite BB cream of all the ones I tried. However, it’s not a HG or anything.

I’m very surprised about the so-so reviews about this product. Maybe it has to do with the condition of different women’s skins. Mine is very dry and this BB cream feels fantastic on! Not only that, it’s one of the very few that doesn’t have a yellow tone to it. My skin has a lot of pink in it and I’ve been hunting for a long time for something that doesn’t make me look like I have a yellow or orange face on top of a pink neck! At first this BB Cream went on almost a little greyish, which was odd, but once I spread it (with just my fingers), it looked great! It gives a surprising amount of coverage, even on dark spots, and it isn’t shiny either. It looks VERY even, which I really love. Even my next most favorite, by Lumene, doesn’t look as even,
even though that’s an excellent product too for us fair-skinned women.
I would highly recommend this product! One of the very best at any price! Yes, it’s expensive, but to me at least, worth every cent.

I am not sure if this is the correct product. It says pro even bb cream. (not mineral on box). Either way, this product does not have the best of reviews. However, I have found this to be a pretty good product for myself. BB creams are lighter weight than foundations. When I first started using them it took me a little time to get used to it. My skin is normal, not a lot of issues with discolouration, but have some fine lines appearing and my pores have seemed to become more noticeable. Before using this I applied my daily serum and moisturizer. I followed this with CC from Marcelle as a base and is also sunscreen protection. I then applied the bb cream with fingers. I found rubbing it in gently and taking a makeup sponge (not beaty blender) and tapping it lightly worked the best. I love the final look of my skin. It feels light and comfortable, I did not get greasy and it lasted me the day, no problems. I am a fan of Vichy and I am not disappointed with this cream. It is SPF 20 as well. Will repurchase this in the future.

I really wanted to like this product. I got it in shade medium. It’s a little bit greyish in color at first but blendable and then some LM Mineral powder over looked kinda nice in the morning. Within an hour or 2, my face was so oily. It continued through the day. Definitely a return. I’ll stick with LM tinted moisturizer – no problems w that.

Awful. Made my skin look patchy and uneven. I had high hopes for this as I absolutely love the Dermablend foundation in Opal, but Light was a little too pale even for me. What a total waste of $40. Not impressed.
