I have relatively pale pink-toned skin and I bought W13. I had originally planned to buy the Cotton Fit one as those are the matte versions of this BB cream. Blooming Fit is meant to be more dewy. When I went to Etude House however the shades didn’t correspond exactly and at the last minute I went for Blooming Fit as I thought it was a better match.
It is VERY shiny. Unless you really like the Korean Idol ‘glow’ (aka shine) then you will definitely need powder on top to mattify it. At the time I was using a mineral powder (Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Pact), but they really didn’t go well together and it caked immediately into horrible fine lines. When I went back and used an older powder (Rimmel) it was fine though.
This BB cream is fairly liquidy compared to some brands. It looks like foundation but really sinks into those pores. My boyfriend complimented me on it when I changed from normal Rimmel foundation to these. It smells good too.
This was my first BB cream and I had read that because they sink into the skin so much more than foundation that you should clean your face very well to avoid clogged pores.
So I started on a Korean skincare routine. I double cleanse with oil and then foaming cleanser… But 3 days into using this product I couldn’t help but notice a bad breakout of small red bumps all over my forehead. Bad enough that I actually noticed it in the light and my makeup didn’t sit right. I stopped using this BB cream for a few days and it gradually started going away. I’ve sinced used both the Holika Holika and Missha BB creams and have had no problems with breakouts. So far, just this one. It REALLY didn’t agree with me, so do keep an eye out for any extra bumps and spots when you start using this!
It took me nearly 2 weeks to FULLY get rid of the weird forehead rash that this stuff gave me.
Overall, this was good and it’s great value… If it suits your skin. I think I paid 11,000 KRW about ($10). If I were to go back again I would buy the Cotton Fit as it supposedly has a more ‘powder’ finish.

It has nice coverage for both acne scars and redness of the face. However, if you have oily skin, this product can be a mess and it won’t last long on your face. It takes a long time to set and it has an oily texture, no matter how many times I would blot my face this would always look shiny! (Shinee lol). After a long time I let it set the texture wasn’t as greasy, but I think what helped was the fact that I use a mattifying serum before applying any type of foundation or BB cream. I you have slick, dry and near perfect skin, this is for you hontey!
This rubs off easily and is’t intended for full long day wear, I think my search for the perfect korean BB cream continues!
