I love this TM. I’m roughly NC25 in winter, NC35 in Northern European summers or NC40 in tropical summers (I’m Asian with medium tan skin tone). I use this TM in 2 (the middle color in the offering) in spring, when I’m ever so slightly darker than NC25. My undertone is yellow so I can imagine this color won’t suit the pink-colored ladies. I like the dewy finish and the light coverage but that’s not unique to this product, most TMs on the market today tick that box. The packaging is also great, very sleek and convenient for travelling.
Although I really like this product, I would not purchase this again unless I can find a good deal on it because it is quite expensive for a TM.

My experience with this product is different from that of my fair-skinned counterparts. For me, its final application was not yellow, but sheer with a subtle illumination. My typical undertones are cool and pinkish, which has always led me to believe that I should wear a base that has the same undertones. I have been incorrect: on me, a pink-toned base only exacerbates them, leaving a mask-like finish. Out of the tube, this BB cream (in Fair) looks quite yellow, but when it is blended, it disappears completely. It diminishes the redness around my nose and mouth subtly, leaving behind a soft glow. It is only mildly fragranced, which I appreciate. If you have a lot of redness to cover, you’ll likely need to look elsewhere, but if you want a soft glow and subtle coverage, I think that this is a good place to start. It’s the only Burberry product I own, and it’s made me want to explore the line more.

Unexpected rave.
Perfect sheer and somewhat luminous BB with great dewy coverage, no sparkle just sheen.
Color 2 (light medium) perfect match for me.
Would compare color and texture to nature bisse the cure sheer cream (my HG), Bobbi brown tinted moisturizer in light to medium, this is a high end and therefore high priced product but still much more affordable and portable than the natura bisse. Would also compare to Dr jart luminous BB brush. No clogged pores, ight to medium coverage and can truly be subbed for moisturizer. Have repurchased already several times.

This is a very very light coverage tinted moisturizer. Usually that’s what I’m looking for because I had foundations but this was oddly mask-like. Perhaps it was the tacky finish that never stayed in place or the straight up orange tint (in even the lightest color!) Packaging is great; hygienic, cute, and releases a good amount of product per pump. Product is pretty shitty. I mean, how hard is it to make a tinted moisturizer? It’s essentially foundation with a lotion or cream base. Ladies under NC25-30 stay away. I’m dumping this one.

I definitely understand why reviewers have rated this product so low – I mean, we are persnickety when it comes to product claims and what we expect to get for the outrageous costs of so many of these products that tend to be nothing more than overhyped basic formulations. This product, like many others, just doesn’t work for everyone.
I grabbed this on a whim yesterday at Sephora in shade 2 Medium ($44). Since I really love the glow and additional moisture I get from using Burberry’s Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base (see my review) under or mixed with foundations, I wanted to give the BB cream a try being as how it was advertised as having the same moisturizing power and dewy effect but with a slight hint of tint. I don’t find this has a lot of coverage but it’s not advertised as such; it’s got enough tint to it that it evens out my redness a smidgen and moisturizes silkily enough that it acts as a primer for powder foundation. The slight tint really does help powder foundation in that it aids in additional coverage which powder foundations tend to lack when applied lightly or with a brush. I also find using this under powder foundation lessens that “powder” look and makes everything glow through with a more natural effect. This BB comes out pretty thick but that is kind of an illusion – it blends in really well and seems like you could just keep adding on more and more without changing/interfering with foundation application, simply giving additional moisture. As for using it to prime liquid foundation, I dunno if that works or not because that’s not really what it’s made for or how I plan to use it (I have hourglass primers for that job!). I only use this 2 ways: 1) under powder foundation and 2) mixed into Cover FX custom color drops (which gives med to full coverage and looks great!).
For what this does for me in the way I use it, I def give 4 stars and would re-purchase it. Since I am all about finding ways to cover or even out my redness, this is an excellent product for that. Since I have dry skin along with that redness issue, this replaces Clinique’s Redness Solutions Daily Protective Base Broad Spectrum SPF 15, which has a dry/thick/heavy formulation that was a chore to get to “act right” under foundations of any type (it lacked in smoothness where the BBB does not). Plus they both tone down my redness at basically the same level (which is pretty low coverage as stated before)but now I get additional benefits. I love the fresh glow base much more BUT I feel like these two products are way different. I was not disappointed with this purchase and it will be a staple in my arsenal.

My experience with this product is very similar to that of the previous reviewers. This bb cream is a bit strange, it is unlike what one comes to expect from a general bb cream in terms of performance, coverage and texture. It is not the worse product I have ever used but it definitely does not serve its purpose at all and I can see most users being disappointed with it, myself included.
First off, most bb creams have a decent amount of coverage, but this one definitely doesn’t, this is very very sheer and doesn’t cover anything at all, it evens the skintone a tiny bit and also leaves an odd sheen behind on the face. Secondly, most bb creams are quite creamy in texture and have quite a bit of slip, but this one definitely doesn’t, it has hardly any slip and is a bit draggy and hard to spread on the skin. The texture reminds me a lot of what pure sunscreen is like, to me it is identical to what pure sunscreen feels like on the skin, how it just kind of sits on top of the skin and never really absorbs. I really find this product to be much more like a tinted sunscreen than a bb cream.
Like the previous reviewers, I also bought the 01 Fair shade and agree it would definitely not suit someone who is truly fair or has pink undertones, it has very beigey-olivey undertones and matches my Asian fair-light olive NC20 skintone pretty well.
I would never ever wear this product alone, it has no coverage and the finish is too shiny for me on its own. I know it has sunscreen in it so I basically use it as a protective base. I apply it after primer and then apply foundation, concealer and powder over it and it is fine. I have combo skin and while it does have a weird sheen finish, it isn’t exactly greasy or oily. I can definitely see this product clinging to dry patches and apply horribly on drier skin. It is somewhat bearable on me only because I have combo skin. After I apply foundation, concealer and powder over it, I am ok with how it feels on my skin and can make it work. And the one and only positive thing about it is I don’t notice it making my combo skin’s oilies any worse, which is great.
But in the end, I really can’t say that this product is doing much for me other than providing sunscreen! And $46 CDN dollars + tax for something that serves as just sunscreen to me is a total waste. I have just recently dabbled into the entire Burberry makeup line and love almost everything I have tried so far, but I don’t plan on purchasing this bb cream ever again nor would I recommend it to others.

I absolutely love Burberry’s line, and have everything from their powder foundation to their lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes, and bronzer. I figured I couldn’t go wrong choosing this BB Cream but it was a huge disappointment. Honestly, I think Burberry made a big mistake with this one, and I have to say it’s one of the worst products I’ve tried in a year. I bought the No.1 Fair, thinking it would be a good match for my N10 skin. I like Burberry’s base products in general because I find I’m able to match my pale skin easily as they have a lot of fair colors to choose from.
The No.1 color was about 4 shades too dark for me though, and looked absolutely awful on. Not simply because it was the wrong shade, but it looked and felt greasy and strange on my skin. Heavy, slippery, and clung to dry patches while sheering completely out over other areas. No even texture, and it was difficult to apply with my typical blending brush. It did not sink into my skin or sort of “dry down,” rather it stayed moist. FYI, even after knowing it was the wrong shade I kept it on my face for a couple hours just as an experiment. Applying powder on top was a disaster as it left thick, cakey patches wherever I attempted to apply it, and moved the BB Cream around too. It has a perfumey odor that lingers as well, and it’s much stronger than other products from their line.
I’m disappointed to see Corn Oil listed as one of the ingredients as well. It’s a common allergen and seems like it doesn’t belong in a high end brand, particularly one at this price point. Overall, awful. Usually I find one or two things about any given product that I like, even ones that don’t work for me, but this one is just a big miss in every area. Also, I wish companies would stop trying to make a few shades that they assume fits every skin tone, and start embracing wider shade ranges.

Beautiful packaging, wonderful smell, great fresh glow, but it doesn’t even my skin tone enough and gives me a an orange/golden shine which doesn’t suit my pale skintone. Makes me look like I used self tanner, although I purchased the No.1 fair color. I just put it up on swapidu for swap.
