I really wanted this to work for me but alas…
Shade: Light
I’m asian and usually match with “ivory” in western cosmetics or “shade 2: natural beige” in Korean brands. I have mild rosacea esp on my chin and cheek area close to the nose. “Light” looked so dark when I pumped it out onto my hand. Looks a lot better after spreading it out on my face: blurs a bit of the rosacea redness (expected), just really really slightly darker than my skin tone (acceptable). It wasn’t ideal colour but I got too excited and bought it anyway lol
Pros:
+ cream like texture, easy to apply
+ sets within reasonable time
+ can increase coverage with layering (but doesn’t lessen redness)
+ hygienic pump packaging
Cons:
– clings to dry patches and flaky skin cry
– balls up when you rub in too hard and too thick
– SUPER LIMITED colour selection. Light is not light to me.
– you might dislike the smell (For me it was ok…kind of earthy? but it lingers throughout the day so it might ick some people)
the worst part is after I got over the initial excitement, I realised the one I got is actually faulty. The product separated into water and cream when I pump it out. I thought okay no biggie I can mix it manually since I couldn’t shake the pump to mix the product inside. However the cream separated AGAIN on my face while I was APPLYING it. I could see the water spreading first, then the coloured cream caught up in the dry patches. I gave it a try for 4 days and gave up. It wasn’t fun to see your makeup highlighting dry patches and balling up with contact…in the end I had to argue with the pharmacy to get a refund because I didn’t want to risk getting another faulty one that’s worth AUD 18.50.
Ways I tried to make this work for me:
– prep face with 3 layers of lotion + Earth Cream: clings to dry patches
– prep face with lotion + primer + Earth Cream: clings to dry patches
– prep face with Rose Hip oil and immediately put on Earth Cream: Looked perfect for the first 15 minutes and goes back to Scaly Lizard look.

This is a reliable product with great healthy ingredients. You only need a tiny amount for your entire face. The coverage is good for a bb cream. It looks really natural, healthy and matte. I think for the amazing ingredients, good results and price point, it deserves 5 lippies.
I do find that it does flake if applied over a moisturiser, but on top of facial oil, it applies fine. I got the shade light, which is a little pale for my fair-medium skin. Thinking of buying light and medium and mixing it for the right shade all year round.
The only minor con is the scent. It is not pleasant but I can live with it. It is not “herby”, it is more like cough medicine.

Amazing – the lightest and most natural tinted moisturiser I have ever used. I am so prone to eczema and dry skin, that I usually have to avoid daily use of any form of make up. Yet with this, just popping in top of my normal skin creams daily has not caused any issues!
I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Right, where to start. This product simply deserves the medal. The most amazing truly working long lasting natural tinted cream i have ever used. I have combination skin with acne (used to have very oily but african black soap helped me to reduce oil significantly over the time) and my forehead and nose gets quit greasy. I tried numerous bb creams in the past, NONE of them was good, all of them made me a grease ball, gross. This one is the only one that doesnt and i can literally go without blotting even more than 12 hours (with any other make up or creams it used be 4 or 5). Basically i stopped blotting during the day because its not necessary anymore. The shade i bought is medium and matches perfectly. It glides easy and dries very quickly. I also disagree with previous review that it flakes. No it does not flake as long as you apply it correctly – just pat it on face and gently blend it with fingers. It gives super natural look, coverage is also very good while looking still natural and lasting power is amazing. Its important to have the skin hydrated, then the cream finishes the whole look beautifully. I also use their Anti Aging cream (MooGoo brand) which i mix with their Tamanu oil, that helps my skin tremendously – get rid of redness, makes skin supple, get rid of fine lines and helps my acne. All their products helped my oily acne skin so much i cant thank them enough. This is my HG bb cream that i love love love and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for natural no nasties tinted cream full of goodness 🙂

This product breaks me out almost every time i use it. It also flakes when you try to blend it over your face. The only good thing about it are the ingredients or lack of chemicals to be more precise.

THANK YOU, MOOGOO!!!!
In short – looks natural, good coverage, fair price, excellent shade, no irritation.
The longer story – my skin is hard to describe, I would call it acne prone but really it’s more dehydrated, easily stressed and gets congested and bumpy with products that contain silicone or anything that doesn’t absorb immediately. I love the Moogoo range and always try the products for a fair amount of time but the only one my skin one loves is the Eczema and Psorasis Balm and MSM cream. Every other face cream either sits on my skin and irritates it – resulting in irritated and dehydrated skin. Strange!
I’ve tried all the other ‘natural’ brands like Nude and Natio, but they had fragrance and ended up making my skin oily and congested or had a white under shade that didn’t really go away. They wore away easily and I feel like I’ve wasted so much money on them. Then the ones that look great and stay irritate my skin and I can feel it being itchy with them on, even with a silicone free primer underneath.
Anyway, my skin loves *this* product and it makes my skin tone look healthy and even with no irritation. I’m sure it will help the current bumpies get better because I’m not adding to it.
The texture is similar to the MSM cream and rubs in easily into the skin. I find the Earth Cream is enough but it would be a good base for further powder coverage if needed. I like Nude By Nature but I have a difficult time matching the colour to my skin tone. Plus, I prefer a liquid coverage especially in winter. I am a neutral medium and the shade is so spot on for me (read Moogoo, don’t change this shade!!!)
This product is amazing. I’m so glad it was finally released (I suppose perfection takes time)! I’m even happier it is silicone and fragrance free AND does an amazing job. Also love the airless pump, is non-comodogenic (and means it!), talc free and void of everything else irritating.
Update – 23/8/15
I’m still using this lovely product and I’m onto my 3rd bottle. I’ve found that if I mix this with the Eczema and Psorasis cream, it blends better into my skin as it did have a tendency to be streaky after application that needed to be brushed out. All in all, fabulous product and I know I won’t be straying anywhere!

This tinted Earth Cream by Moogoo’s makeup range, Dusty Girls, is simply amazing! It has better coverage than most tinted moisturisers & BB creams & it evens out my skin nicely. It is perfect for my oily, sensitive & acne-prone skin – it doesn’t break me out & even keeps me from getting too oily throughout the day. I only wish it had a bit more SPF (packaging states SPF 5), but I guess if more sun protection was added then the formulation might not be as perfect as it currently is. My skin absolutely loves this stuff & I would repurchase again & again! 🙂
