dProgram is a Japanese brand targeting sensitive, acne prone skin. They have skincare and cosmetics. This BB essence is very watery, so it`s not like a traditional BB cream at all. It`s supposed to contain a patented skin veil that keeps allergens like small dust particles, pollen and pollutants from settling onto your skin. It`s formulated to contain no fragrance and other ingredients that are considered unsafe or irritants. What surprised me was how much coverage I could get from this: medium and if you go on layering, which was very easy with a sponge, hinging on high. So, again that was surprising for a BB cream. The packaging is great: a light weight plastic bottle with a narrow tip. You need to shake this up a lot, just like you would with Channel`s Vitalumiere Aqua, which this reminds me of. Unlike Vitalumiere, the finish here is a lot dewier. It lasted on me 8 hours with powder touchups. If you buy it in Japan, for 30ml you pay 3000JPY plus tax, so the price is pretty reasonable. It has an SPF of 40 PA+++, but I never rely on the SPF from foundations, so I always add my own sunblock underneath. Overall, I am impressed and I will buy again, especially for the spring season when allergies are rampant here, to test its claim of blocking allergens.
