The bronze part was nice…not too much but a nice tint… didn’t make my skin look any better but more oily

The shine felt looked more like oily skin on my combination skin vs dewy glow like melthing a bit in hot summer heat without the sweat.. lol but wouldn’t use this as the color comes off as the wrong foundation purchased :/ it does not blend seamless into my skin tone but I’m on the light skin tone side.

I bought this during the winter whilst in Quebec and this pulled ever so slightly dark yellow. Flash forward, however, to the summer and this is perfect as a warm-weather skin-evener. It adds a look of healthy radiance but still manages to blur imperfections–plus, it’s lightly dewy without appearing “sweaty”. With a bit of powder, this can easily be stepped up for evening–very versatile. I recently made the mistake of trucking out my Mac Face and Body in C2 (so great in the winter!) for an evening event and, in the photos, my skin came off as pasty and shiny; I looked as if I was dying of typhus. Not a good look. I wish I’d stuck with my Marcelle. I’m docking a lippie as I think a proper BB cream should pack some kind of sunscreen punch.

Marcelle is so underrated, in my opinion. They make some solid gems. And they’re Canadian!
