I’ve been wanting to try this eye cream for so sooo long but I couldn’t justify the price. So I took the plunge and purchased this at Nordstrom with accumulated gift card plus 100$ out of my pocket! This stuff is damn expensive!! The packaging is gorgeous- vanity worthy but I kept it in a drawer where it is dark so not to lose its efficacy. Given the price tag I wouldn’t even risk it ( it has become a hidden prized possession lol). I would prefer given its price a lil more product in the jar, just sayin’…
The product is dispensed with an accompanying spatula. The texture is light but has some good weight. Spreads like silk on the skin. Absorbs quickly. Again I don’t need much as a tiny amount spreads well along the eye contour. I have not had any negative reactions to this cream. It’s a really++ nice eye cream!
To be honest as proud as I am to own this jewel I do have reservations mostly due to the steep price tag. After using it for about x6 weeks I cannot say it has a ‘wow ‘factor. I don’t see anything notably different than that of my holy grail eye cream Clarins Restorative Total Eye Concentrate does at a fraction of the price.
Overall I’m glad I purchased this, it’s a beautiful eye cream that does its job at moisturizing the eye area really well, but for the price it’s just not worth it… a very nice morning moisturizer! I will continue wearing it again as I fall back on it for a summer break.

I have started my routine with caviar line at the same time, so I can’t tell whether it is the caviar eye cream or the gel or them together have worked.
I would say this is the best eye combination I’ve used (gel + cream). The fine lines caused by dryness and one single wrinkle under my right eye have completely gone after two month use. Except the lines, I can also feel a complete lifting effect around my eyes, but because I also use Caviar luxe cream, which indeed gives me a total lifting effect on my face, so I can’t tell which one actually did the job.
I have used eye cream from Shiseido and Estee Lauder before, and other brands like Perricone, Darphin, or Strivectin etc, nothing can beat La Prairie Caviar. Among all of the eye cream, only Shiseido could kind of moisturise the skin around eye a bit, the rest did nothing which a normal facial cream could not do.
They are not cheap, but worth every penny. plus the cream is in 20ml jar, and after two months am and pm daily use, there is still half left; so does the eye gel. Will definitely purchase again.

Made my eyes itch then got a bad burn-like rash. Had to discontinue immediatlely. Never again…I will never run another river! jonone johnson89 freun Location: Dallas, TX, USA Eyes: Brown Skin tone: Fair It wasn’t that bad, but it was hard to be consistent with the lipstick, which has been on my lips for months. Thankfully you can always just change the formula so there’s no one on your lips that comes over you with the change but you can always type your lipstick back in…
Leaving the lipstick on is a tad unpleasant 🙁 MiguelCorralia Location: Texas, USA Eyes: Hazel Skin tone: Fair I have this set. It is my first lipstick ever and it stays on really well. It’s about 15 years old. Definitely one of the most gorgeous you ever made. I do still love the old 50 g style set of lipstick. I gave it 3 stars because I am just quite new to women’s lipstick. I don’t want to change too much, but my lips are becoming clearer and that is always a good thing. PSSS Sarah9 Location: Undisclosed Eyes: Brown Skin tone: Light Love that it’s: “Long love” Pottdolla Location: Minnesota Eyes: Blue Skin tone: Light I am 18 years old and have never owned a lipstick to this degree before. I have had an established brand for years and I now LOVE my new and returning Lyra Rose set!!! It is very well received with very little for several reasons. First off I would recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a great set for someone who wants to play the part of the outgoing fan. I cannot wait to purchase this to last. She from MY RH
Beautiful lipstick HappyMad Mary Location: AL Eyes: Brown Skin tone: Olive Love that it’s: “Long love” I can’t believe that I’m not a fan…[t’bone] can totally explain it so here it is. After paying for a set and loving how easy it is to obtain it…the company itself states that “I’m a big fan and VBG has shipped it every time I went shopping”. Also I won’t break the cash, even though it will only cost $3.95 and this piece works for me. You can change the lipstick back and forth in seconds. Hasn’t been a problem. Thank you VBG!

The best eye cream I have ever used. I have tried Kanebo, Sisley, Chanel, Shiseido, La Mer and many others, but this one is by far the most effective anti-aging eye cream ever. It hydrates so well that my eye area feels moisturized all day, it does not irritate my sensitive skin, does not cause milia and it smoothes out the lines making the entire eye area look rejuvenated. It is rather expensive, but a little goes a long way and it does such an amazing job that it is definitely worth it!

I’d tried various samples of all of La Prairie’s eye creams prior to choosing this one. I even preferred this over the Platinum Rare cream. Used in conjunction with the Essence of Caviar Eye Complex, this cream manages to perfectly hydrate my entire eye area while smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve even noticed a decrease to the severity of dark circles from lack of sleep, and overall texture and firmness.
I apply the cream (after the serum) gently to my orbital bone, and between and above the brows. My eye area feels hydrated all day, which I credit to the combination of eye products. When I want an extra boost without makeup, I dab some Cellular Radiance Eye Cream over these products which completely masks any flaws or under-eye circles. But if I had to choose one cream, this would be it.

I have tried many different eye creams that claim to help with dark circles and puffiness but they never really do anything. This cream however has worked a treat for me. I do find it a little greasy but with the difference it has made to my eyes I can live with that. Although it is expensive, for me it’s so worth the cost and I will definitely be buying it again. Like other reviews have said, a little goes a long way.

this is a very emollient eye cream that I use day or night when my skin needs extra moisture. I like it, but it is not my “holy grail”.

I don’t have any problems with this cream it doesn’t seem to irritate my eyes (unlike the cellar eye cream) and its not too heavy, so I don’t get a numb feeling around my eye area. I have been using a lot of eyes creams prior to this one, so a lot of problems I have had have been minimised already and I’m only 25 years old so I don’t have any real need for this anyway, but nonetheless its still usable. When it comes to eye creams I think i’m more of a creme de la mer kind of girl. I’ve also used this on my mum and she too prefers creme de la mer eye creams. This is okay but I can definitely live without it because there are so many reasonable eye creams on the market that are far more competitively priced. I wouldn’t especially splash out on this one.

ive been using this for about 4 years now, and im 34 years old. i find that this does help with my eye area – i don’t have any wrinkles, and i can actauly feel it “doing something” to my eye area the second it apply it – this may be the cause of irritation in some people. i dont think i have particularly sensitive skin, so it works well for me, and gives me radiant looking eye area.

This is a fantastic cream on mature or very dry skin. After trying it out, I found out that I need a lighter cream, even for night time. I received a sample of this product and used it for a couple of weeks. It really feels great on skin and has definitely improved dryness. It did fill in all the fine lines and my eye area stayed well hydrated all day long. However, I found it too emollient for my skin for regular use, so I will stick with the Cellular Eye Cream. I think in your early 30s, the Anti-Aging line is the way to go, and it is better to progressively move to more advanced lines as your skin changes (Caviar and so on). This has been my experience and what I was advised by the salespeople at LP. If you have a good salesperson, she should recommend you not the most expensive product you can afford, but what your skin needs. If you do most your shopping online, you could try the skin consultation on the LP website. It amazes me to read the reviews of products geared for those already with signs of aging by 19 year-olds. Sure you’re free to spend all your allowance on the Platinum Line for all I care, but rest assured, it is not the right product for your skin.
