   I had a small sample which I used sparingly as suggested by other reviewers. The smell is sweet which could be overpowering once my head heats up – in the sun or when working out. I don’t use dry shampoo however, if I did, I would splurge as I don’t enjoy having to spend so much time brushing out the white dust from other dry shampoos.
   Pros:
   – no white dust
   – need only a bit
   Cons:
   – expensive
   – scent can be overpowering

   I made the mistake of using this before spin class. As soon as my head started to sweat, I could smell the very strong fragrance of this product. Pretty sure people next to me could smell it too. Deal breaker for me.

   This adds volume, hold, and extends the life of hairstyles on my fine, straight hair without making it look unnatural. I don’t mind the smell, although I can see how other reviews may not love it. I do a light spritz before I blow dry or curl my hair, style, and then do another spray of my whole head. I wish it wasn’t so expensive. Garnier makes a Texture Tease spray that is somewhat similar in volumizing, but it really doesn’t give that nice hold that Triple Sec does. Shake it really, really well before you use it.

   I really like this product. I was at the local DryBar with a gal pal of mine (she was getting the blowout), started playing with their products. This adds volume and really does give me the tousled look. I have chin length hair, layered, trying to grow it out. Yes, I would buy again.

   I really like this texturizing/volumizing spray. I have medium texture hair, but I have a lot of it. I use it to give my hair some oomph at the roots for nights out. It lasts longer than other texturizing sprays I’ve tried and also seems less drying. A little spray packs a big punch. My only complaints are that the scent, while not offensive, is very strong and the price is a little expensive. For reference, other dry texture sprays I’ve tried are Amika, Kenra and Blowpro. I have not tried Oribe, so I don’t know the two compare.

   Pretty much a game changer for me. I have fine, thinning, bleached hair and I need volume/density especially near my face/forehead… I spray this in after styling and work it through with my fingers and it gives beautiful volume and some lift. It gives texture without being sticky or gross feeling. I’m sure it would be great for someone wanting to get some hold for curls. I will have to keep repurchasing this because it has become a daily necessity. It’s not cheap and the smell is pretty strong and sweet vanilla/almond, but I need this now.

   I like this as a volumizer for my medium fine hair. Does it’s job and helps me go a bit longer between washes without leaving any white residue or making my hair feel gritty and dry. I bought the mini to try and it was $13 for 1.4 oz bottle so the price leaves a lot to be desired. I found the spray nozzle difficult to press and that made it hard not to over spray and who wants to waste at $10/oz. This is a nice product and does what claims. Id even gladly spend the money to repurchase because it gets the job done but the
   sweet almond smell is pretty obnoxious. At first I liked the scent but it really lingers in your hair, your clothes and the room you used it in. It overpowers any other scent you might have on. I get wanting to refresh your hair and scalp between washes but this hangs on and on. Awful for anyone with scent sensitivities. Too much for me so I won’t repurchase

   I found this product to be truly terrible. Got it as a sample from Sephora. Not only does it not seem to “refresh”, “amplify” or “texturize” my hair, it makes it look 1,000 times more flat and greasy than before I apply it. I’m just talking second day hair that does not have substantial oiliness. I find the scent to be OTT cloyingly sweet, not pleasant. Really awful product.

   If you travel quite a bit or you’re into sports, this can be useful to freshen your hair. It’s not a good substitute for washing your hair for more than one day, but I like to keep a can of dry shampoo handy for life’s little hair emergencies, such as the morning you realize your alarm didn’t go off and you’re already late, or when you’ve been playing tennis but it’s not practical to squeeze in a shower before dinner. Another use of dry shampoo is to add texture to clean hair for styling. It’s handy for a quick updo, or if you binge-watch a lot of Mad Men episodes and get the sudden urge to do a bouffant.

   Triple Sec has a fragrance – it doesn’t smell exactly like Triple Sec to me but it’s nice. I agree that it smells sort of like vanilla, but not pure Madagascar vanilla because it’s also a bit tart. I detect a citrus note.

   PROS:

   1) Goes on clear. Most dry shampoos can leave powdery residue, even when you spray from eight to ten inches away, and although that can be easily be brushed and blended, seeing white near the roots is a pet peeve for some.
   2) I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother my scalp.
   3) Has a sweet, slightly tart scent.
   4) The aerosol pump is easy to control.
   5) Freshens the scalp for several hours on an active day. Feels better than not shampooing at all.
   6) Comes in a travel size. I’ve taken it on the road or to the gym in my duffle.

   CONS:

   1) For me this wasn’t quite as effective at building volume at the roots for styling as Klorane’s dry shampoo.
   2) Not really a substitute for washing your hair. It just buys you some time.
   3) Some people would rather have a fragrance free product.

   This is a good option if you must have a clear dry shampoo and this one feels clean. However, if I’m using dry shampoo to enhance texture for styling purposes, I prefer Klorane, and Klorane has no discernible fragrance.

    I have very fine, wavy to curly hair. This is what I use on the third day when I really should wash, but I just don’t have time (I usually wash every other day). It takes that oily look out of my roots, gives me amazing body and smells great (it is a vanilla / cocoa type of scent).

    I had sprung for the famed Oribe Texturizing spray. My goodness was that expensive. But this is what all the celebrities use…so here we go. It gave more va va voom then the Pssst and didn’t leave a colored cast. But it was sooo expensive I just used it when I really, really needed. Plus, I was not a fan of the perfumey scent.

    Then I finally try Triple Sec and I am in love! At first spray the scent was love. I can see this sweeter scent might bug some people, but it was very pleasant to me and the smell alone was worth the money. Second, my curls get pulled out by day two or three after a wash and I left with flatter, fuzzier hair. After using this not only at the crown but on some fly away ends too, my hair looked like I had just had it in curlers! A full bottle of Triple Sec is a lot less than a full bottle of the Oribe, I prefer the smell and it doesn’t leave the white cast of Pssst. In a pinch Pssst will always hold a spot in my heart. But Triple Sec has earned a place in my must haves (especially for travelling).

    Finally, one last detail. With any dry shampoo or texturizing spray, you will feel like you want to wash your hair after the day. But for me they have always been about extending the life of my hair and that is exactly what they do. If I use it sparingly on second day hair, day three is possible. But usually, I save it for third day hair and really want to wash by that point. But the bottom line is all of these products create a build up type feeling until you wash.
