I will give this 5 lippies and 3 P’s – – Pricey (but worth it), Perfumy (but who cares?), Perfect (will for sure purchase again!). It left my hair light, bouncy, shiny and manageable. I used very little and was extremely pleased. Knowing that it will protect my color-treated hair, all I can say is Oui to Ouai!

Very successful at volumising my very fine hair but fails at the “repair” claims as its so light. I’d probably buy the conditioner again but not the shampoo based on the scents.
Shampoo – cleans well without stripping. Leaves hair light and clean. But the scent is truly awful. It smells exactly like a heavy duty ammonia based oven cleaner. I couldn’t bear to finish the bottle.
Conditioner – extremely lightweight. I have very fine long curly hair and it leaves my hair “poofy”, ie light and fluffy and extra curly, and a bit frizzy. I have to add an extra leave-in conditioner or finishing cream to the ends to stop my hair flying up into the air. When first applied the scent reminds me of elmers glue, powdery mens aftershave and honeysuckle flowers. But after it dries it smells of aromatic wafts of real honeysuckle flowers drifting in the wind. Lasts all day and is quite magical.

I’m only reviewing from a trial size, so bear this in mind. However, if this shampoo/conditioner requires a certain number of washes/conditionings to prove its repairing capability, then the line should detail this in its instructions. Ouai should also not be distributing trials in smaller sizes that do not show the efficacy of the product when in effect, that may hurt overall sales of the product. With that in mind, using this shampoo/conditioner left my hair dry and unmanageable. In other words, in need of repair. I wasn’t happy with this particular line, but I do use some of their other products and have always been pleased with the results. This was not a positive for me.

This is not the product’s fault, but more so my own.
I have virgin hair, but since I style it a lot and it can get look rather fried/frizzy at times, I thought I’d benefit from using a line that is designed for people with coloured/damaged hair.
As much as I enjoyed it, I do prefer the brand’s Smooth line more. I feel like I benefit so much more from it and while Repair range is good, I do feel like if you have drier hair type – you’re gonna enjoy Smooth range more. I feel like my hair needs to be repaired after using this shampoo and conditioner for a couple weeks. It’s bizarre because it will leave my roots oily but my ends are extremely dry and have breakage. Would not recommend.

I’m shopping for a new shampoo/conditioner brand so I only ordered the travel set to see if I would like this. I already use the Ouai hair oil daily and I love it, so I was fairly confident in the quality of the shampoo and conditioner. What surprised me was how light and fluffy my hair was after only one use. My hair felt hydrated without any weight and at 5 pm it still felt the same. I am definitely going to buy the full sized bottles. It has a light floral fragrance that I’m not super thrilled about, but I can live with it for full volume, fluffy hair all day.

I got this at Sephora in the trial size and have now used it several times and I’m just seeing results and my hair feels so much healthier I will probably purchase the bigger bottle. I think you have to use this as another review said 6/7 washes to start getting the results!

The shampoo left my hair squeaky clean and has a nice scent. The conditioner has more of an obnoxious floral scent to my nose and could be a tad more hydrating, however this duo adds tons of shine, perks up my curls, and does a good of lessening the frizz I get around the nape of my neck and around my edges. I bought the trial kit with hair ties and a matching hair treatment inside which is the best I tried in terms of high end. I found it at Sephora.

This is for the shampoo. If you could give it minus points I would. Left my hair stiff, and dry….strange for a “repair” shampoo. Also felt like it had left my hair coated. Couldn’t get over the smell…terrible. Sorry for such a harsh review. Wouldn’t use even if someone gave it to me for free.
