I’ve been stressing out my hair over the holidays with heat styling and related hair care products. I received a sample from Sephora this summer and recently left this in for 3 hours to restore my hair. After I rinsed this out, my hair was dramatically improved in texture and smoothness. This mask does everything it’s supposed to from the bottle, and if it was half the price, I would buy the full sized bottle immediately. But there are many products out there at half the price that will produce comparable results – Aveda, Amika and Ouai are all great alternatives that will do the same thing.

On my second jar of this miracle stuff. I buy it on sale, and you only need a SMALL amount, so a jar lasts a long time. I’m not continually spending money trying hair treatments when I have this, so it’s a good value in the long run.
This stuff is potent. I use a scant teaspoon on my chin-length bob every other week. I don’t need to do protein treatments with this, either (more money saved). So, use a small amount, leave it in anywhere from 2 to 45 minutes, rinse well. It has a green/herbal scent that doesn’t linger.
I have fine, curly/wavy silver hair (currently undyed, but I also used this when I colored my hair). Afterwards, my hair looks healthy, shiny, and full (not weighed down, a problem I often have with hair products). Highly recommend; one of the few “cult” beauty products that actually lives up to the hype.

I first got acquainted with this uber expensive hair masque one year ago when I was given a deluxe trial pot (that lasted me 4 usages)… and even if I could barely conceive that a rinsable product (i.e. it goes down the drain) could cost that much, I bought the full size as I was already hooked into it.
It is that good.
I have a shoulder long bob, very fine hair, blonde & highlighted, that can barely stand any heavy product (forget leave-in conditioners), as it can get dirty the second after I applied any infamous product. Well, not with this expensive Christophe Robin Prickle Pear masque.
Heavenly scented, it nourishes and protects your hair without any build up; really I could not believe I could get to day 4 after washing with still presentable hair, this was unheard before.
It sort of regularises your hair, making it soft, manageable and clean (it must be said that I used this together with the Pate lavante à la rose, this result may be also due to the washing).
A total winner in my book… took one lippe off just for the price, that it still very stingy for my wallet.

I gave this product a great review. I have had it for months now. Results are not consistent. I am now using it on my body in the shower and rinsing it off. I get more consistent results with DevaCurl, As I Am and Kinky Curly Not Today. A waste of my hard earned cash.
P.S. I get better results with Palmer’s Deep Conditioning Coconut Oil Protien Pack.

It literally smells like a cat box. Seriously; that’s the smell. Why?? If it were fantastic that would be one thing, but it’s no better than average. Waste of (lots of) money.

This is by far my favorite hair mask. It is crazy expensive but I managed to score this during one of LookFantastic’s 3 for 2 deals which lessened the pain to my wallet. I use this weekly after a reconstructing treatment like Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer or Olaplex 3, and leave it on for at least 30 mins if not longer. I blow dry and straighten my dry, frizz prone hair after every wash and I personally think this helps my hair to be better than it should be. It leaves my hair soft. silky and nourished and easier to style. The scent doesn’t bother me (closest I can think of is like strong baby powder) nor does it linger after drying and styling. Due to its high price I’ll probably revisit this only when there’s an offer or if I get bored with my other favorites from Kerastase.

I have been enjoying this mask lately. Now, if you plan to buy it – remember that the scent is quite strong. It reminds me of those old-school, granny kind of perfumes, which were popular back in the day. I personally don’t mind it, because it is pretty much gone by the time you wash your hair.
I have been using this mask together with their shampoo, you can read more about my experience here ( and I must say that I do like the results I get from it. It makes my hair look glossy, feel soft and more manageable. I don’t think it does much in terms of frizz, but it definitely helps with quality of your hair.
Now, is it worth 71 USD? Don’t think so, unless you don’t mind spending this kind of money on your haircare.

I thought I was gonna use Kerastase chronologiste rest of my life (seriously) until I use this mask. This is the best mask in the world. Trust me I’ve tried from drugs store bland to high end salad products for years.
I finally found HG item!
I know price is very high but you don’t need much, and I know smell is horrible! I always go back to the days I changed my kids diapers (lol) when I use this mask.
I’m not afraid lighting hair or using flat irons because of this mask.
I just love love love it.

I have mixed feelings on this product. For starters, the product smells absolutely amazing when you open it. It is a good sized tub, so not much mask if needed to get the job done. My hair came out nicely in tiny amounts, but if more than a small amount is used your hair will turn out greasy and disgusting. My hair is already very dry, so I could never recommend this to someone with oily hair. Another issue is that the product is absurdly expensive ($71 for one tub). For that reason alone I will not be repurchasing it.

Tried a small jar of this in Sephora’s hair treatment box and I loved it. It had decent slip, but the moisture I got was very nice. My hair had a nice gleam and scent. This is too pricey to justify a purchase for me and I have been known to spend a lot on my hair care, however I think I can find more affordable options. If this was on sale then I would purchase it. It is a good mask in my opinion.
