I am bad about shoe shopping. I never know if a pair of shoes is going to rub me/blisters but Payless has a lot of wides & sizes to try to get the perf fit! Good price pointe, trendy shoes, good for stuff I don’t wear real often like dress up shoes or trendy stuff. The tennis shoes/casual shoes are very comfortable! Flipflops are cute & comfy & lots of cute earrings/accessories! Winning!!

I absolutely adore their selection of flats: They’re stylish, sturdy, & above all, comfortable! I’ve worn several pairs to death but the best part is, they’re so inexpensive that the guilt factor when you repurchase is minimal to none!

Love Payless foot wear! I check out their new arrivals every season for all items – shoes & ALL their other accessories, even makeup now (though I don’t like the makeup selection). I see lately a collection of perfumes has been added ($40 is a bit overpriced if you ask me).
I’ve shopped Payless for countless years & have enjoyed the improvement in quality over time. Generally I always get @ least 1 pair of boots from there every winter, as I am not a leather fan & prefer to wear synthetic footwear (sorry) – they’re less delicate & require far less care. These boots last me a good 5 yrs, esp. if I rotate them. The BOGO sales are the best time to shop but nowadays when I see something I MUST have, I just buy it @ regular price (which isn’t too much anyway).
I’ve gotten @ least a little bit of everything from Payless & I love the $$ I save when I shop there. Some of their shoes tend to be quite heavy & clunky (1 lippie off), which from experience I’ve learned to steer clear of no matter how pretty they are, & I stick to items that are lightweight & comfortable. I especially only get my gym sneakers (Champion) & tennis shoes (AirWalk) @ Payless for the past 10 yrs. I don’t remember buying any from anywhere else ever since. I’m not into designer names, only style satisfaction & comfort. Great cost-savings.

Some good selections the last few years. I just bought my daughter a pair of Champions and they look great. I got me a pair of heels since it was BOGO, but already the dye is starting to come off, so you really need to be careful what you get or accept that you get what you pay for.

Payless is great if you remember what you’re getting – cheap shoes! I have low expectations for their shoes so sometimes I’m surprised. Example: A couple of years ago I got a pair of woven leather slingbacks that were exactly what I was looking for. Yet today I’m wearing an impulse buy that is not going to work out in the long run. But it’s rainy and slushy and I didn’t want to ruin a decent pair of shoes.
I really like Payless for trendy styles that I’m not sure about. I try out a style and see if it’s versatile enough to buy again. If I like it, I find the same thing in a better brand. I also buy my very casual shoes there, like flip flops or canvas shoes that I may wear for just 1 summer.

Payless is the worst shoe store I’ve ever been to, the shoes are crap quality and there is very little selection. I used to try looking because the prices aren’t bad, but there’s a reason for that. I’ve never liked any of the shoes I’ve bought from there over the years, and now I just don’t bother going in.

Okay, I liked the American Eagle and Airwalk styles, but some felt so cheaply made! Seriously, the only good quality shoes were those made by Champion. My boys and I wear those and they’ve lasted us over a year now! The styles are super cute for the gals! For the boys I saw a lot of cool skateboarding styles from Airwalk. But stay away from the slip-on styles. Those felt and looked cheap.

I am a shoe freak. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many pairs I have. I think my obession stems from growing up poor and only having one pair that had to last years!
I LOVE Payless shoes. I find they last just as long and are as comfortable if not more so than more expensive brands. I have several pairs of BCBG, Liz, Nine West, you name it – and yet I seem to always go to my Payless shoes. It is a great way to have shoes to match lots of outfits without spending a fortune.
