Conclusion:
I thought I’d have another go with Kerastase since Bain Age-Recharge didn’t work out too well and this was the newest product in their lineup. I claims to be rebalancing, and it has some probiotic properties to it so I purchased the combination hair formula. Promises aside, this is a decent mild shampoo for frequent use. My scalp is still slightly dry, and my hair hasn’t been completely transformed, but I guess my expectations where way too high. I won’t but any Kerastase products again since Phyto is the only line of hair products that has ever truly worked for me.
Alternatives:
Phytoprogenium – I believe that this one also makes the same probiotic-rebalancing claims, but doesn’t have the same harsh detergents or silicones. I’ve only ever sampled it so I can’t say if its much better, but for me Phyto is the best.
