I’m a fan of lavender-scented soaps, shower gels, etc. so was eager to try this out after receiving it as a gift. First of all, it smells great…it has a very simple, organic lavender scent as opposed to the “powdery” lavender I encounter from time to time. Also, I was expecting a highly moisturizing soap and was pleasantly surprised when it left my skin squeaky clean, similar to how it feels after using Irish Spring, but without the excessive dryness.

I’m not sure if this is the exact Lavender Soap I have, mine is it a large square (350g) with lavender seeds. It’s a little bit difficult to use at the beginning it because it is so large. It is moisturizing (72% oil) but is has a great cleaning power as well.
A little bit expensive for a soap but I really like it and I’ll repurchase. Maybe not exactly this soap but maybe the one with olive oil.

I’m not usually a huge fan of L’Occitane, but I decided to pick this up at the local outlet mall because I wanted something lavender-scented to use in the shower before bed. It’s a cute square bar that stays firm even when wet and creates a nice rich lather. It might not be good for people with dry skin, however. I’m not actually very fond of lavender, but this scent is gentle and floral without that medicinal smell that some lavenders have (at least to my nose). I don’t know if I’d pay full price for it, but at $3 this was a steal!
