great stuff. it glides on smoothly , some shimmer, great colors. i like that it has no taste, smells and not sticky. many others i have tried and i cant stand it, eg. bobbi brown, mac, clinique, origins, chanel, ysl, dior, etc.. i was losing hope that i could never find lip gloss with great pigment color and doesnt bother me with smell or taste. it is good. i wish it was more natural and has no parabens.

I only bought this to redeem a coupon or something from the Shu counter in HK. It was the cheapest product from the counter that I actually use. When I was swatching it, it wasnt too sticky and the colour- OR580N was a very nice neutral peachy pink with no apparent shimmers. However, when I got to using it, the colour doesnt last and it was slightly sticky and made my lips rather dry. The applicator was a bit weird too. Its a strange pointy shape that doesnt pickup gloss much. For an expensive gloss, it certainly didnt live up to my standards.

I got shade RD 165N
N=natural
On the Japanese site, the colour sample is too berry/deep.

I’m actually ON THE FENCE with this one…not awful that I don’t use it, but it’s not great enough that I really MUST repurchase.
The APPLICATOR is inconvenient. It’s like a hard, “sponge” stick (not quite soft as a sponge, but I’m not sure how else to describe it since it’s not completely plastic).
It’s NOT angled or anything….just a stick. (see picture below)
There’s NO SCENT. If there is, it’s barely there.
NON-STICKY gloss. If stray hairs gets into it, it’s ok (easy to toss my hair away).
There are TINY FLECKS of SPARKLES. So tiny! It just adds a little more to the glossiness factor. Plain silver I think?
Non-gritty, and too small to travel around your face.
KINDA SHEER…dunno. Maybe?
It’s good for those who want a classic red look, but don’t like lipstick.
It’s good for a TONED DOWN-ed CLASSIC RED LIP look when used alone.
I like to wear it alone during the day for the aforementioned toned-down-red-lip-look.
I also dap a little over a similar shade of lipstick for a bolder look (I dab just a little…mostly on the centre of my lips).
If you want to know, I use Anna Sui’s Sui Rouge V 460 lipstick
I don’t remember the PRICE. I THINK I was ok with the price, but I’m not sure. I bought it in Tokyo and the exchange rate wasn’t so bad at the time.
The Japanese site says it’s 3000 Yen, which is pretty high for me
This is the first BOLD RED lipgloss that I’ve tried, so I can’t compare it with other RED lipglosses, but compared to other glosses, it’s meh.
I just like the colour payoff and the non-stickiness.
STAYING POWER….dunno. For lip products, I don’t mind reapplying every 3 hours. Since this is a gloss, I’d expect to apply more often anyway. Also, it’s non-sticky so it might not stay AS long. Descent in my opinion
The tube (the whole thing is about 10cm long/////The red part is about 6.5cm):
The Blah Applicator:
On skin (due to lighting, it’s a bit more orange than in reality):
Me wearing it (in Kyoto). I think I applied a new layer not to long ago:
Thinking about it now, it’s not a too bad. If I’m still on the fence, I’d say I’m learning towards loving it.
UPDATE:
decided I won’t repurchase because the application/brush isn’t convenient 🙁
