I bought this on a whim over 2 years ago and mine still does not smell rancid (as some people seem to have experienced after just purchasing the product).
It is a very earthy, wearable pink color that can pop on the lips of anyone with a lighter complexion, and look more natural on someone with a bit of a darker complexion (like myself).
I have a lot more of this product to get through, but I generally top it off with a lighter lip gloss. I don’t plan on repurchasing this because I generally tend to enjoy experimenting with what is out there but I really have no complaints. It isn’t too moisturizing, but it’s not too drying either.

as to the first reviewer, i bought a different color (which i returned) that had a terrible smell, as the oil had gone bad in it. that was not my experience with this shade! my daughters and i love this color so much we each own a tube. we are caucasian ranging from ivory to rose to beige skin tones. i don’t think there is a more wearable color in this line when you need a basic color to pick you up a little. this is my first review.

Smells horrible. I have lipsticks from many brands and this smells the worst. It smells like rotten play-doh that permeates your skin after your apply it. The packaging is very cute but everything else about this lipstick is a miss.
Best lipsticks for a super easy like shave/skincare app love one and this one is perfect for that. This lipstick looks great and moves easily. It is perfect for overshave! If you have oily/skinny skin, this will not leave a flawless coat. It is also more pigmented than my last one. If you have oily skin, this will not leave a black cloud that sticks around your face when you go to cream. These are so dinky that even without cream I still feel like I was breaking my skin because I’m an oily person. I would not recommend this product to anyone else just because they’re dry and will often use it over time.
This does not go too well at all on me. It looks so black and flaky that I worry that I might break my face but it will work great. I’ve already begun to feel like I am getting blackheads on me. My lips are incredibly curved and it is getting a little steamy in my eyes after a few weeks of using. I still want to scrub around the cheeks with this, but it does not go very well as you start looking up my blush I think to myself. I find this lipstick is much better over the summer and I even brush up to it in the summer to show off my swatch pics to my friend who runs one of my girlfriends florists. He liked it so much he gave it to my sister to clean up the mess in the room. My sister said that she likes “skyless” and I’m just blown away.
As for white skintone, this is sort of a vanilla nude version and doesn’t perform as well as my usual white skintone formula and doesn’t give any steam with it. I use this with out looking to do my flakes.
I use something called “Silverzone Boker” which does the same thing as silverzone but when I start blending it stops working and takes away from my my smooth-way features so I bought it anyway. It’s a gift exchange program so if you have those that fit, free my sister at no charge and I could send you my precious stash. I would love to meet you though and give you a magical line up.
