Hoochie is a beautiful bright bright magenta purple color! I fell in love with the color the very moment after I put it on my lips. On my lips this looked like a lighter version of MAC’s Heroine lipstick.The consistency of these lip tars are interesting, texture is often creamy at first until they dry to a matte finish. Lasting power is pretty amazing, it pretty much stayed on my lips even after eating and drinking. Sure the color did fade after wiping my lips, but what do you expect? Its not a sharpie. Even though I only reapplied once after I ate, color was still there. The only issues I had with these lip tars are the fact that they are drying and could feather out, other than that its a wonderful product!

OH. MY. GOSH. Ohmygawsh. This is the most GORGEOUS color I have ever stumbled across. I’ve heard a lot of things about OCC lately, but for some reason I only thought that I could get their products online. I was pleasantly surprised when I was wondering around Sephora and found the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics section! I literally jumped up and down because I was so overjoyed. The color variety is absolutely ridiculous – there’s literally a color for every color that exists on the color wheel. I was pondering through all the gorgeous colors and “Hoochie” immediately caught my attention. Lately I’ve been into purple lip colors and I actually have been wearing a very similar color – it’s from the Maybelline Vivid’s Collection called ‘Brazen Berry’. I swear that ‘Brazen Berry’ is an absolute dupe for “Hoochie”, except for the fact that Hoochie is everything I wanted Brazen Berry to be. It is such a gorgeous color, it’s almost pastel like but it’s still vibrant. The lasting power of these lip tars is absolutely outstanding. Overall, my new favorite lip product ever to exist – and I own a lot of lipstick/glosses/etc.

I am in LOVE with OCC lip tars, especially this colour. Purple is my favourite colour and I’ve been trying to find a really bright one. Hootchi is such a nice highly pigmented purple, that you only need a little amount. I admit the lip tars can be a bit drying so use lipbalm underneath it, but overall the liptars are very long lasting, and the colours are so beautiful and vibrant(hootchi being my personal favourite).
