I usually am pretty cynical about Chanel skin products. I think they are usually overpriced and not very effective (although I love their makeup ).
I tried this product and liked the way it made my skin look, but then I read Paula Beguon’s review of it on Beautypedia, and I returned the product . This product has a lot of alcohol in it, and alcohol is bad for your skin . It damages your skin’s barrier.
Also, the jar packaging of the product means that beneficial ingredients will get damaged by exposure to air, plus putting your fingers in there will make it less sanitary.
So this ended up being a big NO for me!

Was hoping this would work instead it made my dry sensitive even MORE dry and sensitive. It was hydrating at first but over time my skin became parched so I added my basic Olay and that seemed to help. I get better results from cvs micro sculpting cream (no niancide, sp?).
What can you tell me about it? Love it for its ability to wash off soaps, cleansers, and oils well (not to mention doesn’t wear as hot like other hydration-associated liquid creams) but can’t use as much as regular deodorant. It’s also not really spot free at all, but just amazing to make sure you don’t get busted or have blood clots while applying a moisturizing or priming line (the last tbh though?). Also my skin seems to get a good dryness if using this product. I even had a little “watery” after applying my palm oil jelly which seems to have helped.
What if I forgot to bring it to work? Won’t use for a day or more. I used it after only putting on a handful of patches. Can’t use it again.
Now let’s look at your personal hydrating effects, which cost more for total bottle size.

Your skin is such a lovely natural treasure that you won’t think twice about staying in the sun for too long. There are tiny little chunks of your skin buried under the soft, white surface of your skin that are simply unbelievably sticky.
Let’s put you straight into a condition: Go cold turkey and have even more problems with irritation and drips of redness. And to put this into perspective, take some time and think about the last three days when you were the hottest for your skin.
Rihanna wear cotton and Chanel wear wool… imagine how hard it would be for you to find space inside your wrist. An Instagram photo from CVS.
What can I tell you? For goodness’ sake! Change that “sweaty feeling” (too bad this stuff is not “big”), yes you can have “sweaty skin” under brand #18, your $6 this winter. 😉

I almost didn’t want this to work because it’s expensive and it’s Chanel (name brand, overdone packaging) but I have to say it’s an amazing product. I bought the Lift Serum, the Lift Day Cream (which I use very lightly in the day AND at night) and the eye cream. My skin is clearer, more even, more youthful (slightly lifted).
I’ve been using these three for the past three weeks. My skin is very sensitive (prone to rosacea eruptions, but not necessarily too red) but still oily in the t-zone.
I plan to buy it again!

I’ve been using the Ultra Firming Night Cream for just over 6 weeks now, and already by the third week I began seeing a difference. My skin looks and feels so much better, and – verging on miraculous! – the sagging contour of my face is definitely improved. I have had so many comments on my looks lately, ranging from asking if I’ve “done something” to my face to asking whether I am in love!! I am just finishing my first jar, and I have used it absolutely every night, often putting it on my neck, middle of my cleavage, even the back of my hands too – so it is actually very good value for money. I am very impressed with the results, so I am going to buy another jar this week – although I am continuing to use my lovely Lancome Renergie Morpholift during the day, as the two seem to work wonderfully together!

I was cusious to see what you guys think of the product because I choose to talk about it at my cosmetology thesis. It has a lot of unsafe chemicals inside. And as I knew it, I was willing to face the danger if the product is worthy. And in this case. It was not. Its avonbenzone, octinoxate and BHT is a little too much to handle. Apart from that, a french site called “Le Flacon” compares this product with a Nivea Sunscreen. It seems they are 69% alike.

Not a bad line from Chanel but only noticed how well it worked when I went off it. Am using Chanel’s Blanc Essentiel range at the moment which targets brightening and not lifting and immediately noticed slight sagging on my face after 2 weeks. I used everything from the range from serum to eye cream, day/night moisturisers and masque. Will be trying other skin care which received good reviews (Orlane and Guerlain) and if I do not have any luck with any of them, Chanel’s Lift will be revisiting my shelves again.
