$5 or $6 bucks at walmart and a complete waste of money. Cheap enough that it isn’t a huge loss but still disappointing. I spotted this and gave it a try due to the lack of silicones in the ingredient listing. Mineral oil is high up but I usually don’t have an issue with it. Pump dispenser is nice, color match was easy enough. But the actual product was the problem.
It is extremely thin and watery. I could overlook that if only it blended well. It doesn’t, I can rub and rub and this stuff fails to blend and absorb. The pigments would clump in areas of my skin as well. Complete disaster of a product for me. I’ve tried mixing it with other products and the end result is actually worse, I think partly bc the high mineral oil content does not allow for it to emulsify with other products and blend evenly.
Such a shame, non silicone based foundations are rare these days, I had high hopes.

I have to say, I’m pretty darn impressed by this foundation. I found this at my local Walmart, and I was so excited to see NYC moving up with the new products. This foundation is around 6$, comes with a pump, and I’m in the lightest shade. I have to say, this paired with the hard candy glamoflauge foundation is so beautiful, and so naturual looking. I’m super white with pink/red undertones and this makes my porcelain skin look flawless. The foundation smells kind of bad, like old cover girl powder (those of you who’ve used covergirl know that yucky “powder” smell) and it is pretty watery. For 6$ this was a great purchase! Job well done NYC!!

I was in the market for a new foundation and came across this stuff. For about $6 I figured I might as well try it. I have to say, it’s not bad at all! There were no testers available so I colour matched by eye and chose the “light to medium” shade. It worked out quite perfectly, which was nice, because generally I have to match my foundations dead-on otherwise they are either way too pale or way to yellow. This product claims to have shade adjusting technology and I’m giving props, because it really does shade match on the skin and the result is a seamless blending experience. The reason I only gave 4 lippies instead of 5 is because I still can’t see where the luminizing effect comes into play. The finish isn’t matt at all but it doesn’t provide the “glow” that it claims to. That being said, once this foundations settles, the finish is a nice, natural satin so I’m okay with the non-luminizing effect. I apply it with my QUO blending sponge which works well for this product. The consistency is creamy, not liquid so the coverage is pretty great without being full-on. In other words, your skin peeks through. In my opinion, this is the best type of coverage because there’s nothing I like less than looking like I have a goopy mask of base makeup on. Lasting power is decent. I’ve worn this for over 6 hours before and it still looked the same as when initially applied. The pump dispenser is hygenic and reduces product waste. One pump is more than enough to cover the entire face with wonderful coverage. The bottle is plastic which I love, because I’m not concerned about dropping it or traveling with it. Overall, this product is a job well-done by New York Colour. For a ridiculously inexpensive foundation, I would definitely purchase again.
