I bought in on an impulse at Nordstrom Rack and was really hoping that the reviews about break outs and oily skin weren’t true, but they were 😕 it made my skin reeeeally oily, and my skin is not acne prone or anything. I do not recommend, nor would I buy again

I don’t know what’s up with this stuff but it’s kind of magical in combination with specific additional products. After I do a my fave pumpkin peel mask if I use this my face is transformed – it somehow manages to lock in moisture and add to the smoothness. Also if I use this under my Clinique CC cream it makes it apply way smoother… On the other hand, it f@cks up my foundation somethin’ fierce! It kind of leaves a barrier or residue behind and for whatever reason neither my liquid foundations nor my NARS creme foundation like it. It’s really strange.
Is this work the $28 buck price tag? Yes and no. Since I rotate between this and a much harsher toner and because of the above benefits, I love it. I like the refreshing feeling it leaves as well – I feel clean after use and that’s a good thing. Are there better toners out there for the money? Yes, but I find they either A) are too drying or B) are too moisturizing (like my HG Vichy water), and sometimes life just calls for an in between product. I haven’t found another toner that works in the same manner as this one, so I will keep purchasing it.

I like it, but it doesn’t do any wonders, it smells nice though and I like the feeling of it. It doesn’t contain any alcohol which I like. I don’t think it is worth the money so I probably wont buy it again.

I like this. Its moisturizing, gets off effectively whatever residue is still left on my skin after cleansing, and I like the fact it has Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, & rose water but NO alcohol. Its not the MILDEST toner out there, but its pretty nice, hydrating and works well enough for my sensitive, dehydrated, finicky acne-prone skin, I just wouldnt use it everyday morning and night since It does leave kind of a film behind. But I won’t repurchase.

Refreshing to find a toner that balances my skin but also adds moisture back in – without being too much! I can tell come winter this is going to be a godsend…and not leave me stripped. Smells amazing. Leaves skin supple and glow-y. This also is amazing paired with their PoreFector gadget. The packaging would be better if it wasn’t a pump, it seems to spurt out past my cotton round onto my counter/mirror. Other than that, LOVE!

Sephora was out of the DDF toner I wanted so a SA recommended this to me.
I will agree that some product is wasted on the pump. It seems to have to much pressure and the toner sometimes goes flying. I take my time though and have gotten the hang of it.
I have oily skin so I try not to use heavy moisturizer in the summer. This solves my problems. It works as a makeup primer AND moisturizer. It’s not watery but it’s not gel either. It’s actually rather neat. I can’t say if it gets deep into pores as other toners, but I have oily skin and have horomonal breakouts. I’ve been using this for about 3 months now and have not had any bad skin reactions. I’ll probably repurchase this or try the DDF’s toner.
UPDATE: This makes me break out big time. Threw it away! Wish it worked and liked the concept of toner/primer, but I should’ve know better. Primers ALWAYS break me out.

When I first started using this product I think I started breaking out, but decided to stick it out for a while before I made a concrete decision on it. After a few weeks of using it my face cleared up again. I like that it does make my face feel nice and moisturized after using it, but its probably because its a tad on the oiler side? The packaging is the same as the face wash, but it is absolutely horrible for a liquid toner. It leaks when its not in use and even worse when it is taken for travel while it is ‘locked’. I feel like a good amount of product is lost from leakage…..

I’ve been using this toner for two months now, and I haven’t been breaking out as of late, so I can see its self-proclaimed detoxifying feature. It smells fantastic too, like a subtle citrus – at least to me, anyway. I enjoy the fact the bottle has a pump, which makes dispensing the content much, much easier! It definitely avoids waste.
However, I found that the product was a bit pricey (about $29 with tax), I purchased it from a Sephora uptown. I am going to look for cheaper alternatives when the bottle runs out, but if that fails, I will purchase this product again.

I’m not sure if I would buy this again because I want to try the Neutrogena Oil-free but if that fails, I will probably buy this again.
Sometimes I wash my face and go to my room to relax before I put on my moisturizer (I want my skin to TRULY breathe), and my face feels dry. I realize that I haven’t toned my face yet, so I use this, and after I do my face definitely feels more moisturized.
I don’t feel like this leaves my face filmy, it leaves my face more comfortable. It’s gentle, which is really nice.
I don’t get more breakouts when I use this… I use one to two pumps only at night and I think it could last me… 3-6 months. I’ve had it for one or two months and I’ve used about 1/5-1/4 of this stuff.
It definitely takes off makeup that remains after I use makeup removing wipes AND Kinerase gentle cleanser. I use a cotton pad and it really gets at any grime around my hairline or nose that might cause breakouts. 🙂

Im not even sure if it does anything..
All I know is that it smells amazing, cleans off left off dirt/oils that cleaners don’t get! Kinda sticky if you do not put a moisturizer ontop..dirt cheap.. and i haven’t broke out from it yet and ive used it for almost a year! =D
