Its a basic soap but gentle and I trust it not to dry my skin

Love this soap as a hand soap, no more dry hands in the winter, no need for hand cream. My mom loves it as a bath soap.

This is NOT gentle at all. Its very drying and irritating it stripped my skin. The smell was so strong and revolting it gave me a headache. A horrid mix of mint toothpaste, cucumber, musty dried sage, citrus and old socks.

I didn’t even know this product existed til I was given it as a gift. So I don’t really know the price (I’m sort of guessing, knowing generally how Clarins products are priced) and I don’t know if the “real deal” comes with a soap dish (mine didn’t and it really would have been nice since all my soap dishes are rectangular and this bar of soap is round).
Anyway, to my surprise, I really like this soap. I use it after using my MAC cleansing oil to take off makeup. That product’s instructions state you need to use a facial cleanser afterward and I find if I use this soap, it leaves my face literally squeaky clean, much as Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Soap does – it doesn’t leave my face feeling dry; it’s like it breaks some sort of bond or something and residue and dry skin are washed away and my face has a different texture when I am rinsing….it really is squeaky clean. I’m surprisingly pleased with this soap and it’s a whole lot easier to get hold of in Canada than Laszlo products are.

Don’t know if they’ve changed the formula, but this generously-sized bar soap with shea butter works really well for my combo skin. Gets rid of mineral makeup without stripping my skin dry (unlike La Roche Posay Toleriane) and lasts a looooong time. Bonus for the simple packaging.

This soap is too drying for my combination skin. The smell is good but not extraordinary.Does not remove makeup very well and is way too expensive!

This was billed as an amazing new soap, and is 90-something percent organic.
It’s ok, but it’s just soap. And it costs £12. Next time I will just get a bar of Dove soap from Boots

This is an overpriced, lovely smelling soap. Like all soap, it’s drying. Far too drying for me face. It’s ok for my body, though.
Save your money and buy some Dr. Bronner’s Castille Soap instead.
